Toast By The Coast - Menu

We sampled a few dishes at this restaurant last year. The sausage roll was tasty, but the cake had a strange flavor. Overall, it's a good choice for a light meal!

we visited on Saturday afternoon. we wanted a chocolate milk shaker, but they had lost what is understandable in a hot day. but the other available aromen did not taste well. we had a white chicolote and a mint milkshake. at the beginning september 2020. due to covid 19 they offer a more limited menu and there were only a few vegan options (vegan cooked breakfast on the breakfast menu, a vegan sausage roll on the lunch menu and a apple cake.) the sausage roll was served with a small by-alat and was ok, the apple cake was nice. the location on the east street is good – close to the river and pedestrian zones is quite a bit outside.

I visited this restaurant in early September 2020. Because of Covid-19, they had a limited menu with only a few vegan options available. I tried the vegan cooked breakfast from the breakfast menu, as well as the vegan sausage roll and apple cake from the lunch menu. The sausage roll was served with a side salad and was decent, while the apple cake was quite tasty. The restaurant is located on East Street, close to the river and with a nice pedestrian area, offering plenty of outdoor seating options.

this place is desperately confused. they were not in a position to make a lot of dingen on the menu pancake, milk shakes reduced to two flavors it was apparently stressful to make a pancake? but they made them for older people. purple later. I've been on this place for several years with my older mother for most of this time it was a Bog standard cafe ok for average cafe stuff, but few if ever, vegan options. on my last trip, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is under new management and they depend on promoting more vegan options. as it happens, I had lunch somewhere (see other review and looked for something sweet and a cup of tea. the service was, at best, ok. my main attack was the non-transparent pricing. I know that the caffes have to cover all their outlets (salare, bait bill, etc.), but I buried almost £19 for a tee, coffee, rührei on toast and a poached. I have been visiting this restaurant on and off for many years with my elderly mother. Historically, it has been a typical cafe with limited vegan options. However, during my most recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the restaurant is now under new management who are focused on offering more vegan choices. Although I had already eaten lunch elsewhere, I decided to stop in for a sweet treat and a cup of tea. I was delighted to find two vegan cake options and two vegan ice cream flavors available.
