rude staff, barely given meat, limited veg. when I asked about a little more meat, as I was given only one piece and one half of the chef just said ‘No’

We had a lovely weekend trip here and this was by far the best Toby we visited. The host who seated us was charming and his service was impeccable. The lady at the entrance welcomed us with a smile and assured us everything was fine.

Today was probably the best carvery I've ever had from here, beef was tender and flavourful, everything else was nice, our server Willow was helpful and friendly and the guy carving [Ben I think] made us laugh, they both had a friendly demeanour which isn't...easy at the best of times, hats off to them both View menu

We made a reservation here tonight through an online booking, which was easy to do. We were seated at a table by a very courteous young man named Steven who was helpful. The staff was busy, but they still managed to do a fantastic job of keeping us safe. We were impressed with their service and felt compelled to write a positive review.

Don't waste your money, go to a cafe instead, the sausages are made of a tasteless rubbery substance, hash browns are so dry and over cooked you could soak up a fuel spill with them, bacon was acceptable and the baked beans were cold. Not...been here for years and won't be back anytime soon. Go to a proper cafe instead and get edible food, I only came here as I had dropped my car off for a service nearby

Came today for daughters birthday. Ordered drinks all ok but didn't have a vodka a family member wanted,ordered carverys another member wanted salmon didn't have any or could give any alternative. Went for carvery I had plates for me and partner as...he couldn't come down the server gave me such a filthy look and was quite off when asked for the meats got it back to the table stone cold we both had to ask for it to be heated up. I had turkey No cranberry sauce ! Finished main course all wanted sweet oh guess what we have No ice cream REALLY. Honestly that really isn't good enough is it . Certainly won't be back . I myself and my son visited here for dinner on a busy Saturday night. the personal was so welcoming and friendly from the moment we entered and we sat immediately. the order of drinks was taken within minutes after sitting. I ordered the vegetarian option at the carvery and was informed that this would take about minutes. my sohn ordered a yorkshire pudding wrap and we were told that this would take about minutes when they were busy and were asked if that were in order what was. the waitress has regularly checked with us to give us updates that there would be minutes, then minutes. my and my sons eating was ready at the same time, which is so often not the case when they order veggie food! t...

I truly am lost for words where to begin having just returned from a “family” lunch, why have I punctuated family you may ask? Four adults and five children aged between and the five children were sat at adjacent ends of the entire building...to their parents! Who I hasten to add had driven hours to meet up with. Booked online and linked the tables when we booked and apparently due to their live system this could not be changed even though there was a table by the adults the entire duration we were there. On January I booked myself and my family of adults with a baby girl and newborn baby for a celebration dinner together to celebrate birth of new baby and my son’s graduation for the January. I phoned up and asked if we...could be put together or next to each other and got told ‘we can’t guarantee anything’ by Phil the manager and Karla. I was polite when I asked and explained it was a family celebration but no empathy from either members of management.
