"me and my family decided to go for a drive in Cheshire all the way from Manchester and visit Adlington, after driving around for a while we decided to stop by at Toby Carvery since we spotted it. Came in and the atmosphere was very mid didn’t feel very welcomed. Had a rude encounter at the bar with two men who I gathered were locals, after they pushed in the queue in front of me. Furthermore, whilst we were eating our food I overheard one of the girl bar staff say to another member about “foreigners” which I found extremely racist and ruined my mood entirely. For context, I’m born and raised in Manchester since this was such a concern for her. Overall the food was very satisfactory, the Toby Carvery back in Manchester is far better. Won’t be returning unfortunately."

Been here a few times, still a great carvery. Good quality, great price and a really friendly welcome. We came back yesterday for Sunday lunch with my in laws who had travelled from Somerset! The day we visited there was only three staff working in the restaurant area. by the time we had arrived sat down and got our drinks the place became very busy all of a sudden. this had seemed to of caused some stress between the staff. I had ordered a cookie dough sundae instead I had a a sundae with what seemed cheap stale cake most defiantly not cookie dough I had pointed it out to the staff and it was soon sorted.
