I love this restaurant! The food is always delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. We dine here regularly, at least once every 15 days, and have never been disappointed.

The roast beef was stringy and hard to chew. The lovely sponge pudding was spoilt with black treacle spread thick on top. I expected golden syrup when it said syrup sponge on the menu. View menu

The dining experience was exceptional, we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended. The setting is beautiful and very relaxing. The whole family enjoyed the experience, especially the desserts.

The food was on average bang! Only beef and turkey available, beef was chewing and turkey tasteless, and the meat content was small. Veg exactly what you expect after you sit under heat lamps. Yorkies and fries nice.

What’s not to like? The Toby Carvery is a British staple, serving thousands of customers a week who don’t wish to wait until Sunday for a beautiful roast dinner. For less than the price of 2 pints of lager in London, you can go King Size and stuff your face until you can’t breathe, and the food is awesome. Bravo Toby!

Four people went to the restaurant. Three of them chose to have the carvery while one person requested a gluten-free menu. The staff gave her a tablet to browse through the options, but then forgot to come back to take her order. In the end, the only thing available for her to eat was a salad made of lettuce leaves, three cherry tomatoes, and brown-edged lettuce. This unfortunate situation ruined the dining experience for everyone.

we were disappointed by the selection of the sweetness that were in the offer, and the amount to scratch the bottom of the pots to get everything). although I appreciate it being 7.30 before we sit, it should have been the same amount as the diners that were before. our waitress at 8.40 beat the bill on the table I had not asked for the bill at this point) and immediately asked how we pay, cash or card before I even saw the bill.
