Amazing, unique setting. Lovely food though I made the mistake of ordering fish for starter and mains ... both served with samphire. Other than saute potatoes no other vegetables.

Excellent. The food was delicious, beautifully plated, and served in the perfect portion sizes. After three courses, we were satisfied but not overly full. It's a relief to have more options than just fast food in Ilminster. Instead of traveling to Taunton or Yeovil, I recommend dining here - you won't be disappointed.

What a find this place was. We stopped for lunch on our way back from a holiday and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in recent memory.Aside from the excellent food (scallops, mozzarella bresaola, sirloin steak, orange/almond cake , the dining room itself is delightfully done out and the staff very hospitable and friendly. Alex came out from the kitchen to talk us through one of his dishes and pass on useful tips for peeling garlic (one I wish I’d heard twenty years ago! .Very highly recommended.

The food at this restaurant is life-changing. We ran into the chef outside who convinced us to try the dishes promising a wonderful and joyful experience, and we were not let down. The food was delicious and unique, with the starters and main courses being exceptional. And don't even get me started on the dessert - that cheese was out of this world! Seriously, can someone please tell me what type of cheese that was? I highly recommend visiting this place, indulging in the delicious food, and definitely trying the cheese board. Let me know in the comments if you figure out what that amazing cheese was.

This is a shining gem of cuisine nestled in picturesque Ilminster.The chef is very personable and knowledgeable, with a great enthusiasm for sharing the origins and decisions behind the menu and ensuring that you enjoy the dining experience.The dining area is cosy and has a lovely view onto the open area just outside.
