This is a really nice place, with friendly staff a phenomenal selection of cakes! The coffee is great too.

We had a stale dry scone and stale dry unpleasant cake. Service slow and dirty tables not being cleared. Will not return.

Came with my partner for breakfast. The decor is outdated, dirty black tables and dirty menus. The music was so loud irritating, we could barely hear ourselves think not what you want for a morning breakfast visit. Very nicely decorated and set up little cafe. Good clean toilet facility. Good choice of foods on the menu something for everybody. I had a cheese ploughmans and it came on a board with an excellent selection of foods, good size piece of cheese and really tasty, best ploughmans Ive had in a while. Had no room for pudding but puddings and cakes on the menu looked very good.

we decided to go here and be happy. a very friendly greeting when we entered the caffe and the place was nice and clean and a fresh feeling for the place, the prices were good and the place had seated. the menu looked really good and seemed to accommodate most nutritional needs, but we caught for the cake and was not disappointed (a big piece of cake. I wouldn't have a problem here.

I would have promised my friend a afternoon for her 70th birthday, but we had a limited window on Thursday afternoon after 13 o'clock. we discovered that every caffeine in the neighbourhood has stopped serving to serve 15 o'clock and were about to give up despair when I remembered silver st. I was not optimistic about our chances, but the kitchen on silver st could not have been more helpful. we have a brilliant afternoon tea, served in fine porcellan, with a lace cloth, very generous amount of smoked salmon, sink and gurken sandwiches, choice of two types of cake from the many available plus excellent scenes, jam and cream and a large pot of good hot tee. we have pushed out the boot and add...
