"I called on 23/8/23 for a family meal at this restaurant. We had pie, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and gravy which were all absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the butter chicken burger, which he said was the best he had ever tasted. Our server, Lydia, was a lovely young lady who was wearing a clean and tidy uniform. She was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and wines. Since I don't like red wine, she suggested I try their white wine which was a great recommendation. Despite not being very busy, Lydia took the time to clean and clear tables and even came over to check on us and make sure everything was okay with our meals. As someone who works in hospitality, I can tell that Lydia is a hard worker and she is truly an asset to your company. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant."

This small, local pub is fantastic. The food is really good and there is a great atmosphere. There is seating both inside and outside, and the place can also be hired for special occasions.

We called in with our two dogs for a mid day meal, we weren’t disappointed the Steak and Ale/Stilton pie that we both had was excellent. Everyone was friendly and the dogs appreciated the treats on the bar. We will definitely be returning View menu

Visited as part of a group but this review only reflects my experience. Ordered the House Burger and was totally underwhelmed by it. It was overcooked, bland and unseasoned. At almost it is times the cost of a BigMac meal. Guess which I...would prefer. The beer was alright though.

This was the first time my wife and I had visited since its modernisation. We found the premises very clean and bright, the chairs comfortable. Nathan was on duty and was friendly and efficient .The food was well presented, hot and was enjoyed by us...both. We will certainly be visiting again soon. View menu

the food has always been before place, but at this occasion I ordered the fish and the chips, but the fish was unusable, fish was muddy and the teig was thick and boiled. the dough on the brie starter and the wobble rings were. the same. had the braut not a long time ago and the teig then was light and crispy. I was offered a replacement, but did not want to wait so that they removed my main from the bill in fairness, but based on this visit I am unlikely to be back soon.

This was our visit since the change of ownership we were a little worried having seen some less than favourable reviews. We needn't have worried. The food was gorgeous, as it has been every other time we have visited. What made our dining...experience extra special though was our waitress, Molly. She was very chatty, pleasant and very attentive. I understand she is leaving soon for another position. On todays evidence she will be a very big loss. Thank you to all at Top Pub especially Molly.
