"we had to book our reservations well in advance to guarantee a table. the workers are very attentive, they naturally enjoy their work, as they were so knowledgeable about every cure of our food. the recommended weeps were perfect for our eating. we were a party of six foods, including personal chef ex restauranteurs so can be very critical to time, our visit to the george was great and is highly recommended."

The pub appeared charming, but unfortunately they were not serving walk-in customers at the bar. We decided not to enter and may try again next time we are in the area.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant in the Peak District! It is by far the best we have ever been to. The wine selection was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food was both innovative and comforting. The atmosphere was very cozy.
