"Had lunch at Toscana. The pizza was just not good. The pasta was much better. I also witnessed an amusing bit of comedy. The restaurant seems to be managed by a lady and gentleman. He dropped a piece of bread on the floor and then picked it up. Rather than throwing it away, he placed it on the counter. A few minutes later, the lady moved it to the edge of a bread basket that was kept for serving. Later still, it was moved squarely into the bread basket. I'm sure this kind of stuff happens at most restaurants. More importantly, the flavor of the food (or lack thereof) will not be bringing me back for more."

We had a nice mixed salad with good penne and an excellent gateau. The house red wine was very drinkable. Better coffee than many places. Good service.

This place is amazing! The best restaurant experience we had in Paris! The food was delicious and the host Mario was outstanding! So friendly and helpful and took wonderful care of us. We came back a second night in a row just for the service...and good food! The tiramisu and creme brûlée was perfect. Pizza was great too! Must try! We will miss this place!

With my wife being a vegetarian it is not easy to find restaurants which cater for her. However on our last visit we came across Toscana just around the corner to where we were staying and being Italian there is always something for her to eat. The food is good not expensive and it always has a welcoming atmosphere with pleasant staff. I will always recommend Toscana to anyone who is staying in the area.

We arrived in Paris yesterday evening changed and went to eat and finding Toscana again decided to go back after years to see if it had changed. Well we were not disappointed the same friendly staff and the most important good food. Even our...family from Canada and my wife enjoyed the salmon they had. For me the veal fillet withe masala and mushroom sauce was very good. Thanks to all at Toscana for making our dinner in Paris a good one.

We stopped at La Toscana at 94 Bd Diderot tonight to have a dinner. My soup was very salty - possibly from a can. My wife's salad was almost tasteless with numerous brown spots on the lettuce. My main plate was really ho-hum. I had some sort of seafood dish with really tough squid and smothered in tomato sauce ( also possibly canned ). My wife's spaghetti was also tasteless. We chose NOT to have a dessert, but left for home somewhat disappointed.

Located at 11 Rue Amelia, this tiny Italian restaurant is AMAZING!! This was the best meal we had during our week stay in Paris (most of which were taken on Rue Cler). We have two picky eaters and seldom do we ever find a place that pleases us all. 4 dishes, 5 STARS! arrabbiata, cream, pesto and bolognese served over penne, tortellini and linguini. I am diificult to please with Italianfood as I lived in Italy for 3 years. One of the best meals I've ever had outside of Italy! All delicious. The salads were delicious as well. Highly recommend you visit!
