"The cafe is located on a busy street which is used by a couple of real tram lines.. so it is easy to get to. The server had to expalin to us that you order at the front of the tram not at a table even though there are menus at the table. Lots of choices for sweet or savory crepes. I had the Humus Crepe. It came folded and in a paper sleeve, so I had to ask for plate and fork/knife. The crepe was nice and crispy and the filling was a good amount. Would like to go back for one of the dessert crepes. The price was reasonable for Munich. They have German and English menus."

Stumbled upon this place after visiting the beer garden. Lovely cafe made out of two pld trams which gives it a quaintness. Nice couple running the place and the coffee was superb. A very popular place by the amount of customers. View menu

Authentic place with amazing food, nice staff and great coffee! Definitely worth a visit. Only 2 min walk from subway station Hackerbrücke. You should definitely try the tram sauce and the oreo and white chocolate crepes for desert...this one is to die for!

Excellent for quick snack in not so nice part of the town. Frequented by youth so can be loud. Offers high quality teas and if you are into pancakes also good snack. Area around is not as clean as in centre of city, is it some party quarter of Munich? If you have Day Ticket worth a travel to and away for a snack.

Created from two vintage tram cars, one where they cook the crepes and the other as a dining car, placed in an off street area they serve on a takeaway basis but with inside and outside seating. The ambiance is quaint, quirky and low key. They serve savoury and sweet crepes along with coffee, hot chocolate and cold drinks. They are a delightful and original alternative to traditional cafes. The nostalgic Tram Cafe lets you step back in time, while the crepes champions prepare their specialties under an old secret recipe stylish and fresh in front of you. This results in crepes with a unique taste, which you can take-away or enjoy in the beautiful setting. There's a wide assortment of delicious crepes ranging from crispy savory to sweet delight. They also have lovely organic ice teas. A nice and healthy alternative to the huge beer garden nearby!

Love it! We heard about this place and since our son is a train lover we went there for desert after dinner. They have a great selection of good crepes including unusual and savory versions for lunch etc. service was super nice. Since it was slow at the time we chatted with the guy and gave us some insights how they started the business with SFO cable car replicas they moved to different places u til this one found a permanent home at the current address. Thumbs up!!

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
