"For one reason or another the expectations were higher, perhaps by the online presentation or by my eagerness to dive into my traditional food whilst being away from my country. The only fault to the food was that some of the things were too salty, almost taking away the taste of the dishes, such as the share platter. The tripe soup one the other hand was watery, like a long soup , with very little tripe and almost cold. Other than that, the food was good. The waitress was excellent, always around, doing her best despite being overwhelmed. The missing stars are due to the poor management, our reservation, even if confirmed was not communicated to the staff on shift, the food waiting time was over 1 hour, the toilets were 2 stars and I am being kind. Would I recommend? No."

I had an intriguing experience at this restaurant. It wasn't my first choice, but I went along with a friend. The food had a Romanian-style, homemade quality to it.

I admit that wasn't my cup of tea, but I can say the quality of the ingredients is very good, I tried the Romanian wine and it was delicious, my friend was happy too despite our preferences View menu

fantastic restaurant with a difference. absolutely love the device. the service was impeccable and the food was to die, apologise to the pub. everything was fresh and came out steam hot, in any case they must try this place out if they did not before.

We were the only people dining on a Saturday night which didn't fill us with confidence. Vegan sharing platter was very overpriced coming to £26 for a bit of bread, veg and dips, really poor effort. Decor was quite tacky but fun, nice drinks, strange experience all in all, shan't return.

wonderful place. excellent service. the personal is very courteous, operable and if offer a very good experience. If you would like to try traditional Romanian cuisine at the highest level, I would recommend this restaurant. the environment is made to a good similarity of vlad the impaler medieval transylvania. This small independent restaurant located on Park Street has a nice decor with vampyric mannequins and a gothic style interior. They offer a good selection of drinks, however, the veggie burger was just okay and lacked a patty, making it more like a £13 roasted vegetable sandwich. They do not offer low alcohol beers and the meat options seemed more appealing than the vegetarian ones. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible due to several narrow steps at the entrance.

We visited this restaurant looking for some tasty food and we were not disappointed! The food was definitely fresh and appealing to anyone looking for an authentic meal. The atmosphere was charming, especially with the music, although the design didn't particularly stand out in relation to the theme of the restaurant. It's a functional place and suitable for family meals or events. We were just looking to enjoy our day and the staff were nice and polite, ready to serve. There was a bit of confusion when my husband paid the bill as the prices of the meals differed from what was listed on the menu. Despite that, I would still recommend this restaurant for the food experience.

"Visited here in Sept 23 for an executive dinner that we were hosting for various senior business leaders. We booked out the whole venue, which was the perfect size and atmosphere for the intimate and exclusive feel that we wanted, plus a convenient location. The TV that shows into the kitchen was fascinating, and the record player was put to use towards the end of the evening! Caroline from the venue helped us organise the event in advance and was great to deal with. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to enjoy a welcome drinks reception out the front of the venue, and have the door open all evening to let the balmy night in. We had the 7 course taster menu and it was simply OUTSTANDING so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, particularly the beef steak course! It was so tasty that I even enjoyed the fish dish (not usual for me! . Service on the night was exemplary, the courses were brought out at just the right intervals so you weren't waiting ages but also not being rushed. The chef came out to greet us after the final course, which was a lovely touch and meant we could thank him. Overall, we had really great feedback from our guests, everyone loved it thank you for making our event such a success! We would definitely book again, and I know a few of our guests have already recommended it to their own companies for executive dinners! Would not hesitate to recommend."
