"Away from the tourist trap restaurants across the river and having read all the Italian reviews raving about this place we expected something better. We all got pasta dishes and all were below average. No English spoken at this establishment so we struggled a lot with communication. Verona was overall a disappointment for us. Edit after response from the owner: Thank you for your response. A clarification on my side, I never said the food was not edible. And the service was pleasant despite the language barriers. As for the feedback you wanted us to give you instantly, well you prove my point better than I ever would. I am not sure how you expected us to communicate it since you don't speak English and we don't speak Italian. All the best with your business Sir."

A great family run restaurant across the river. We didn't book for Saturday lunch it easn't a problem. Staff have a charming, dry sense of humour. Great, readonably priced Veronese food in a gorgeous corner of the city. View menu

Turned up with my wife mother after making a booking some months ago with ‘Stefano’. Arrived to a cold welcome and told there was no booking and if we wanted to stay we could only have the table for an hour. Embarrassingly bad.

davvero un'esperienza insolita, la reception del proprietario mi è piaciuto molto, stava vagando attraverso i tavoli per chiedere se i piatti erano ok! e comunque tutto è grande, molto simile alla cucina casa nella piantagione ma con un punto in più.

Very good 3 course meal in a truly Veronese restaurant. Generous portions of home made pasta with good choice of sauces. The menu has a wide choice of second course we haf delicious syeaks cooked on a piastra. Mostly locals. The walk across the river is a delight as is people watching. View menu

Walking down from the Piazzale Castel San Pietro we stopped in this trattoria, not really knowing what we were up to... And we were so nicely suprised! We had a delicious (a rich! meal, served by a very nice and helpful staff. Even the wine of the house was not bad! Wondering what to eat? trattoria vicino al centro, subito dopo il fiume, vicino al villaggio di san pietro. Sicuramente un piccolo posto non passa davvero, ma se ne hai sentito parlare, vorrai tornare indietro. conduzione familiare e molto attento al cliente, il personale è presente ed efficiente. cibo è grande, abbondanti porzioni e materie prime di qualità. buono da antipasti, una miscela di formaggi, il primo, le cotolette e il primo della casa, e per finire il piatto tipico Verona, la pastissada de caval con polenta. prezzi onesti, sicuramente uscire da lì ben saziati e soddisfatti
