"Three couples spent an overnight at this Hilton property (which overall needs much upgrading). The restaurant and bar were fine... nothing fancy... basic tables... not white tablecloth . Very good breakfast with many options. My only negative is that the cut fruit is in preservatives and not freshly cut, although there are apples and bananas and organges. Attentive breakfasts staff. Dinner was fine... Potato Leek Soup one of the best ever. Attentive service. Steak and veggies fine. Bar is really basic and they were out of Kahlua (for Black Russian) and Sweet Vermouth (for Manhattans. I ordered a dirty martini and it was a mistake... they didn 't really know what it is and served the vodka with black olives (and maybe juice). I didn 't complain because I may not have been clear, but I have never seen black olives in a martini... and didn 't think it needed an explanation."

delicious food. I had the fish cake, which was more like chowder with a lot of fish and a help from maische on the head. the other 3 of the party also enjoyed their meal. very friendly staff also.

can be very quiet-so good for a business meeting. only the place used for tee...so cannot comment on food. I had some problems with the internet reception from some reason, which was a little painful.

This restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with a view of the Estate's Golf Course. The staff is attentive and friendly, providing a comfortable atmosphere. The menu features excellent options for fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes, as well as delicious starters and desserts. The restaurant also has a great wine selection and a bar for cocktails and lighter fare. Whether you're visiting for breakfast or dinner, you are sure to leave satisfied.

Having stayed here on business for 2 nights, on night one I ordered Chicken Liver Parfait (which was one of the best starters I have had), followed by the Steak with Peppercorn sauce, I ordered medium and it was cooked to perfection with great flavours, then, not normally a dessert man, but tried the Cheese Cake, which too was absolutely fantastic. On night two, I had the Parfait again, which was equally as good as the first night, then so as not to be boring went for the pork, which was very good, but still not a patch on the steak highly recommend a visit.

Had a set menu booked along side a dinner/bed/breakfast deal. Due to this I wasn’t sure what to expect but the food far exceeded my expectations. The chicken liver parfait was absolutely delicious and the nicest I’ve had. My sea bass was also beautiful. The raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake was excellent as well and I am not a dessert person! Accompanied by one of the best strawberry daiquiris ever, it was a great experience. All of the staff were highly attentive and extremely polite and friendly. Felt really well looked after by everyone we spoke to and a huge thank you to all of the lovely staff.

A beautiful relocation within the Hotel is its newest restaurant overlooking the golf greens with lovely sunsets…The DORMY HOUSE. It’s a comfy, cozy space…wall-lined banquettes and nice comfortable chairs…a lively bar all make this a nice dining spot. On mild evening you can have a drink or a cocktail on the terrace. Menu is small, but perfectly formed! Great chowder! Burgers, sandwiches along with various pub classics including wicked fish and chips. Desserts are decadent…The Chocolate torte is worth a try. Drinks and wine are good and the staff are so helpful. Come for the sunset and leave with a full tummy

It's been a few years since I've eaten here, despite it being within walking distance so it was a good to go back after some time. The restaurant was fairly busy on Saturday night so the atmosphere was quite lively (the bright overhead lights didn't really add anything to the ambience unfortunately, it felt like sitting under a pair of spotlights). Lack of table cloths gave a slightly down market feel but the food was fine not massive portions but adequate and nicely presented. £100 for a couple including a bottle of wine puts it in the mid range category. The staff were mainly efficient despite their obvious youth, a bit of a wait for dessert order to be taken. Overall, a decent experience....

"My partner and I called in here for a bite to eat last Monday on my way back from Belfast. If there was a spot for no stars, that is what I would give this place. I wantedd to complain but my partner told me not to as he didn't want to make a scene. Im so sorry I didn't now. I ordered chicken goujons and garlic, and he had the pitta chicken. His chicken was like charred rubber it was so overcooked. My meal was like a plate of grease. The goujonsweres just pure grease on a plate. I scraped the batter off and tried to eat the chicke, but it was like goo. The garlic fries were in a bowl of grease. The young waiter who lifted the plates just did that and no more. We were never offered desserts, notthat wee would have taken any anyway. The other staff were just cleaning around us as if to say it's leaving time. It's very rude to be brushing up floors and spraying tables in a clean u in front of customers. Would most definitely never go near this place again. called in here for a bite to eat last Monday o my way back from Belfast. If there was a spot for no stars, thatt is what I would give this place.
