"that is a great little place that is greatly underestimated as an Italian restaurant. service is good, not fantastic, do not expect the flaky, chat and enthusiasm that Italian waiters normally bring, these young are not Italian, but very polite and engaged. but don't come to chat here, they come here for the food. they have all classics, beautifully presented with good to large portions and very hot....a condition many restaurants seem to be missing, these days, all too reasonable trips for the location. total large space for large groups and families. as part of the thames hotel, you can visit the bar before, via the room, for views of the river and occasionally live music."

average pseudo-Italian restaurant in Great Britain. Probably the best option is pizza, everything else is the classic type of “Italian” foods they never have in italia. basic value for money, especially if they do not expect to eat Italian.

we came here for a jubilee dinner. all staff were great and very helpful. we waited for our ancestors because of a Christmas party, but our main thing came very fast. eating was really good, but we fought to eat it, as the portions were quite large View menu

We were staying at the hotel so it was a very brief walk down to dinner that evening. It seemed very poular with locals as well as with hotel residents. The food was lovely and the young waitresses were working very hard to keep all the customers happy.

This is an average pseudo-Italian restaurant in Britain. The best option here is probably the pizza, as everything else on the menu is typical "Italian" fare that you wouldn't find in Italy. The prices are reasonable, especially if you're not expecting authentic Italian food.

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here for dinner. The staff were fantastic and provided excellent service. Although we had to wait a bit for our starters because of a Christmas party, our main dishes arrived promptly. The food was delicious, but the portions were quite large and we had trouble finishing everything. View menu

Nice table for four on a very quiet Thurs night. Food and service were fine and the menu was looking good, though we were told that some items were off the menu that night.. oh and by the way, the roast veg is different from what's on the menu! Never mind, the lamb shanks were just fine and even though the sticky toffee pudding was really too sweet, 3/4 of us managed most of it. Overall, not bad, will be back.

This little place is a hidden gem when it comes to Italian cuisine. The service is good, although not as lively as traditional Italian restaurants. The staff is polite and engaging, but don't expect the usual Italian flair. However, the real star here is the food. They offer all the classic dishes, beautifully presented with generous portions and served piping hot, which is a rarity these days. The prices are reasonable for the location. This restaurant is ideal for large groups and families. As part of the Thames Hotel, you can also visit the bar across the hall for views of the River Thames and enjoy live music on occasion.

"We were visiting Windsor and read the good reviews about this place and were so pleasantly surprised to find such cosy and beautiful place . The food was delicious. Lots of starters to choose from. We had squid and warm salad for starters... The squid...was so delicious and beautifully cooked, and had subtle spicey chilly and onion dressing. I had warm salad and the pork just melted in my mouth . For our mains we had steaks , sirloin and rib eye and my partner said this is the best steak he had ever had in UK . The mushroom sauce I had was so authentic just perfect. The sides of duck fat chips and cauliflower cheese are must try ! I never though that I'd love cauliflower but I'm already a fan after trying WG's special side of cauliflower cheese. Generous portions and such lovely staff ! They made us feel welcomed always with smile on their faces and very knowledgeable and chatty as well. The whole atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and it had real good vibe .The play list was such a nice addition to our experience , such good mix of all types of music. We were sat at the table close to the bar, and we've noticed that the whole place is decorated with good taste and attention to detail. This place is a true gem honestly , and I'm not surprised now that they have so many stars reviews ! We will definitely come back when visiting Windsor again ! My sincere compliments to the chefs as well ! We've learned that the owner of the restaurant is the Chef at the kitchen so what a delight , when so much attention to details is payed to food ! You created a food momento that we will not forget ."
