Very delicious, great atmosphere! A point deduction because, unfortunately, there are acute shortages in almost all courts. And this is very bad, because the delicious sauces make the food an experience.

Vorsicht vor Betrug, vor allem Touristen. Essen nichts Besonderes. Portionen eher klein. Achtung! Vorsicht bei der Bezahlung, immer Rechnung verlangen und nachprüfen!! Da finden sich öfter zusätzliche Fantasiebeträge, die als zusätzliches !! Extratrinkgeld vom Laden vereinnahmt werden.

The journey to Friedrichshain was rewarded: food is really an experience where Umami is addressed. The selection of menus and drinks exceeds most other Vietnamese restaurants. We gave friends a voucher for Umami for their birthday, but when they wanted to redeem the voucher they said that this was only possible with the receipt of the voucher purchase. We weren't told this when we purchased it, so of course we no longer have the invoice after a month. So the voucher couldn't be redeemed and our friends had to pay for their own food. Something like that doesn't work!

Everything was great. Food fresh, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. Prices are also without doubt appropriate. The ambience was very beautiful. I found the chairs inconvenient, because no back rest, but this is high-level stools. The waiters were always very friendly and always at the place when the drinks were empty. We were a total of 8 people and still we all got the food at the same time. That was really pleasing. I can highly recommend the shop and come back!

Having visited another branch of this restaurant in the city, I was expecting the same quality, but unfortunately, this location fell short. The ingredients didn’t seem fresh my dish came with a lime that was completely dried out, and the sauce was in a similar state, making me wonder how old it was. While the overall taste wasn’t terrible, it was noticeably lacking compared to the other branch. There was less of the main ingredients, like meat, and the broth lacked the rich depth of flavor I had enjoyed before. View menu
