"I don't recommend it for foreign tourists. The waiters placed us at tables close to the bathroom and kitchen, even though there were much better options around. The tables near the window and overlooking the street were all reserved for the French who arrived later. They were not reserved before. Next to us, near the bathroom and kitchen, there was an Italian family... this is the third time this has happened in Paris restaurants, it is a kind of veiled discrimination. As mesas perto da vidraça e com vista para rua foram todas destinadas aos franceses que chegaram depois. Não estavam reservadas. Ao nosso lado, perto do banheiro e cozinha, tinha uma família italiana... está é a terceira vez que isso acontece nos restaurantes de Paris, trata-se de uma espécie de discriminação velada. A comida não é grande coisa, não recomendo!"

Nice choice.we chose a formula menu and it was a value for money choice. If you visit definitely try the steak with pepper sauce.

We stopped here for a break from the cold whilst exploring the Latin Quarter. Incredible value at 14 euros for a three course meal!! Wine was also lovely and reasonably priced. The chicken and chips was delicious and huge. There was a small wait between starter and main and the staff were very apologetic, they even gave us a free mulled wine to apologise. After we had left my friend unfortunately lost her phone/bank card (likely pick pocketed) and could not get hold of us she didn't know what to do so returned here and the staff were SO helpful they even took her to the metro station and bought her a ticket to come and meet us! Cannot thank them enough.

Union Square was recommended as a great lunch place offering American food. Sad, I wasn't blown away. It was a good lunch for the price. What really killed the experience was the service. The waitress wasn't attentive and didn't even come by to check how I did that and if I wanted something else. You could feel a shift contempt. Not sure if they are Americans or not. I had the Sirloin Steak. It was okay. I asked for Ketchup from another server and he never came back with some. I had to borrow ketchup from the next table. The place was not in the bride, so there is no excuse. An older gentleman from Sénégal was the only one who showed warmth and made quick talks. Sad, I will not return.
