"My wife and I spent several nights at this restaurant over the weekend. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and were incredibly attentive throughout our stay. The room was beautifully decorated, simple yet stylish, with a large comfortable bed and even a coffee maker so we could enjoy real coffee instead of the usual instant hotel coffee. Although I prefer showers, the free standing bath was so luxurious that I could have soaked in it for hours. The continental breakfast was the perfect start to our day, with cereal, coffee, and fresh croissants that were just the right amount to fuel us for a day of walking without feeling too heavy. The food at the restaurant was outstanding, so much so that we ended up eating there multiple times, even twice in one day. The Sunday roast with all the trimmings was incredible, and the burger I had in the evening was one of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend trying their food! Paired with some delicious ales, I never wanted to leave. Unfortunately, we had to but I am already looking forward to planning my next trip back."

"When we arrived the car park was almost full at Belluno's, a good sign. The welcome was friendly and the atmosphere and room space was very good. The food is excellent with a wide choice of pasta, pizza, meats and fish, with some gluten free options too. We had no complaints with the presentation or taste, it was all excellent. Service was timely and the staff were very attentive. An excellent place for couples and families for a great night out. Its not the cheapest, but quality never is. Just to note, that we did not see a service charge, so tipping is voluntary which was nice. We gave a tip, but having the choice is good. Overall, a lovely evening out and well worth visiting for a celebration or treat at this establishment. I hope you're experience there is as good as ours was. Atb"

"I have been here a few times and it’s always been a nice experience. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and there’s a good selection. Great location being right in the centre of Crediton. There is a choice of indoor or outdoor seating which is great for the warmer months. The only thing that lets it down in the colder months is the size of the cafe as it’s quite often full which has meant that I’ve gone elsewhere but I guess that is a positive as it shows how many people this place."

"I enjoyed a delightful lunch here with my sister and brother-in-law over the weekend. After reading the reviews, I decided to make a reservation. The staff were all very friendly, and there was a great selection of drinks available. The food was outstanding. We kicked off our meal with chicken strips and calamari, both served piping hot and absolutely delicious. For our main courses, we chose lasagne, fish pie, and the pie of the day—each one was delicious, served hot, and offered generous portions. The prices were quite reasonable as well. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5."

"It is, I believe, one of the Wetherspoons pubs scheduled to be sold. I can understand why. Not the most interesting of buildings. Clearly has had no refurbishment for years . It was unusually empty for a Spoons. And we were treated to loud noises from upstairs, banging doors when staff took things like rubbish out, and barstaff who insisted on throwing empty bottles into two large plastic containers. Why they could not take one step further and place them quietly in the containers beats me. It felt like you were in a breaker's yard. The food, my wife assures me, was fine. I am a fan of Wetherspoons pubs ..cannot pass one without going in. This one is one I might just manage to resist ..unless I need to eat. It would then be tolerable. If the Devil drives needs must. But after we leave Crediton it will not be one I would rush back to if in the area. There are several lovely Spoons in Exeter, just down the road. And this one has the added distinction of being the only spoons we have been to...and we have been to a few! ...with no pizzas available! Inexplicable. Full stop...NONE . I have never before found fault with a Spoons. The breakfast I had was awful. The most tasteless sausages I have ever had the misfortune to sample."
