"The food was excellent. Modern French cuisine at a very high level. All dishes, from the Sous Vide Entenleber Terrine, over the vegetarian strawberry pargel nest to the perfect Angus Rosé bovine fillet were incredibly good. The desserts were also delicious without exception. The wine card has so many treasures to offer, very nice selection. The service was very attentive and very friendly. We had a beautiful round table in the lush garden of the Old Distillery. Too bad the restaurant is so far away from us. Top recommendation for French food in and around Munich."

"Nachdem ich bereits ein großer Fan vom Lokal nebenan bin, wollte ich am Muttertag etwas Neues kennenlernen und freute mich auf einen kulinarischen Abend bei schönem Ausblick. Die Bewertungen klangen verlockend und versprachen einen schönen Abend für die große Familie, anlässlich des Muttertages. Die Ernüchterung schlich sich jedoch bereits mit dem Gruß aus der Küche ein: 2 halbierte Mini Mozzarella Kugeln mit 2 halbierten Cocktailtomaten auf Rucola lieblos zusammengewürfelt, ohne geschmackliche Überraschung. Die Steigerung übernahm das Carpaccio: sehnig, zu dick, kaum Frische während die Tomatensuppe versalzen war und wenig aromatisch. Die reichlich großen Trüffelscheiben schmeckten erfrischend kühl vom Auftauen und übertrafen kaum das Geschmackserlebnis von Oblaten. Auch in den Dessertvariationen suchten wir vergeblich nach Gaumenfreuden! Lediglich die Pizza war sehr gut. Auch der Fisch aus dem Menü konnte überzeugen, die Jus war herzhaft, leider verirrte sich wässriger Blumenkohl im sonst knackig zarten Gemüse. Der Service war bemüht, wenn auch Verständigungsprobleme für eine teils nicht korrekte Ausführung der Bestellwünsche sorgte. Das leicht edle Ambiente offenbarte bei genauerem Betrachten ein wenig Renovierungsbedürftigkeit. Bei einem gewöhnlichen Italiener erlebt man nicht halb soviel, was schief gehen kann in dieser Preiskategorie unverzeihbar. Wir kommen nicht wieder."

"never again! it should be a special evening therefore I was extra in the front field in the local and have a nice place in the tiroler stubn book. I was told, however, that it may be that I have to go to the bauernstube if a Christmas company would come this evening (Friday). I was then shown a nice table in the bauernstube as an eternal plan b. Unfortunately, I was actually called after a few days and told me that actually a celebration takes place in the Tyrolean stubn and therefore I had to go to the bauernstube. It's a shame, but it's okay. I then called again 4 days before the birthday but for safety reasons to ask if everything goes clear with the table in the building room, you assured me! then the evil surprise came! as we arrived, we were told that even in the building room a celebration takes place and we were frozen into the fireplace room! no man has given me a divorce, although this was long clear at the time of my call!!! you were talking out that so much the last days was to do! hallo, I have called from my side extra again and asked for it and that there was already proof I was just so terribly sorry for my son that we had to celebrate his special birthday so humiliatingly, but we did this in another local dubiously."

"As an English national living in Germany, who has also been to India countless times and lived in Singapore I feel qualified to at least comment on Indian food. I have also tried many Indian restaurants in and south of Munich. In my view this restaurant simply has the best Indian cuisine I have tasted in Germany and is comparable with the very best I have tasted in India, Singapore and the UK. I have now sampled this restaurant around 9 times. Many as take away. The chefs specialities are rich and deep in flavour, with individual sauces (not all made from the same base sauce as in some neighbouring Indian restaurants). The food is incredibly tasty - my favourites include (but are not limited to) Kashmiri Gosht; Chilli Chicken and Palak Chana. The service and hosptality I have experienced is warm, generous and sincere. For any Brits (or locals) looking for excellent Indian food I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. My mouth is watering just thinking about it."
