"This was a most awful hotel. At the time of booking we explained that my wife had a gluten free diet. The telephonist confirmed the booking and said that gluten free food would be available. On the first morning the waitress said no gluten free cereal, toast or bread were available as they were available only if guest asked for them. When I said they had been requested at the time of booking she said that didn't count. I asked if the hotel would like my wife to go out to the car and bring in her own food; the waitress said yes. On the first evening my food was quite tasty but the portion size was very small and inadequate. When the waitress asked if everything was satisfactory I said it was tasty but very small. She claimed that I was the first customer in years to say that the portion was inadequate. The bedroom was adequate and the view excellent but not enough to outweigh the unacceptable dining room. On the second morning we had the same conversation and the waitress, a different one, said my wife should bring her own food again. One the second evening we ate elsewhere. As regards breakfast Wildings was able to charge my wife the full price even though she had almost no food from the hotel."

We've been to Wildings before, so new whst to expect. The service was excellent as usual. I'd always book Wildings if I was in the Turnberry area. View menu

Good service enjoyable meals, featherblade of beef was very enjoyable. Chicken schnitzel was liked by our daughter. Generous portion of side veg too.

Unfortunately, the hotel is used by groups of male golfers. One of these drunken groups kept us up until 5am with music, loud talking and TV blaring. The rooms are not soundproof enough and there are no phones to contact reception about any issues. We were very uncomfortable in this situation and will not stat here again.

a small group of us went to lunch. the personal was friendly enough, although the access to our disabled friend could have been better and there was no support or advice for the access to the dining room. eating was ok. costumed enough, but the portions were only average. I've had a better bar court somewhere else. the price-performance ratio was also averaged. View menu

had a great stay at the wildings, which has become an annual event every time, I visited andrew Murray’ turnberry golf event. I love this place and the staff is very friendly. the rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. the dinner was great and I think the full Scottish breakfast I had ate the next morning was probably the best breakfast I ever had. it was made perfection. this hotel is also a good value for money for a stay safe

7 of us for lunch. A noisy gaggle of ladies, who visit Wildings on a regular basis. Our last outing had been a disappointing lunch at The Ivy (Glasgow). Comparisons are odious, but the quality of our experience at Wildings was so much better. Service was prompt, attentive and always helpful. The menu for lunch is consistently varied, creative and inventive. We all chose different items off the menu and not one of us was disappointed. Pleasing to the eye, plentiful and flavoursome to the palate. The restaurant is set in a tiny village facing the sea. I would heartily recommend a visit. I am sure you would not be disappointed.
