"I had an excellent meal at this restaurant. It was one of the best curries I've ever had, and I'm definitely going back for more. The flavors in every dish were fantastic, and the service from Ronnie and his team was outstanding. I ordered both courses they recommended, and I was not disappointed! I had the chicken tikka hara masala as a starter and the lamb nihari as my main course, along with a laccha paratha that I had never tried before, which was also very good."

I believe she deserves a raise for her outstanding service. She was always bustling about with a big smile on her face. Tamara was another bright spot during our visit. "I gave my order to my son to collect from Chillis on 22/10/22. The order was for a chicken tikka masala, onion bhajis, Bombay potatoes, plain rice and a Peshwari naan. When my son brought the food home, I could see straight away that food colouring had been used in the chicken tikka masala as it was bright red but what was most disappointing is that I had been charged £10.95 for it and it only had seven pieces of chicken in it and two of those pieces were quite small. The Bombay potato was equally disappointing. It was too salty and far too spicy and at £5.95, way too expensive. Bombay potato is one of my favourite things to eat. After a few mouthfuls, I couldn't eat any more of it. The Peshwari naan bread looked more like a paratha and for some unknown reason also had red food colouring in it. Overall, it was quite disappointing and too expensive for what we got."

"edit 24/04/22 for brunch visited. large selection, well presented and good size components. sherwood is a little limited for breakfast options, so these informations can be useful. it was 31 degrees outside, a jump of 10 degrees the day before, and we felt it! stained vegan ice and sorbet, so very grateful immersed while passing. super friendly and helpful staff. there were about half a dozen vegan ice creams to choose from. the ones we had were fabulous. we also bought cakes to go home with a biscuit cake and dripping butter chocolate disc, and these were only divine. we have not seen the hearty menu, but if the puddings are all to go past, it is worth when they are in sherwood. updated by previous review on 2019-07-01"
