"We visited the place together with 5 friends. We were totally amazed by the quality of the food and the service. The people there are so nice and friendly, they care about their guests, they have fun at work. It was one of the best experiences I have had in any restaurant. I will be back soon and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to try delicious bavarian good and have waiters who really care about you and make you feel welcome."

I say English-y because they are not written by someone fluent in English- but you can get by. Shnitzel was on point, as were the roasted vegetables. Not tourist food.

I enjoyed my evening here recently. I happened upon this restaurant by accident. The staff was so warm and welcoming. The service was excellent. The food was good. I'd gladly return.

The Münchener Schnitzel with potato-cucumber side was delicious! Atmosphere was light and bright and staff was very friendly. They also showed us how they tap their wooden beer kegs. Very fun experience.

While searching for restaurants that serves schnitzel we found this place. Although we had no reservation (on a busy night appearantly) they made some room for us. The food was good and in general it was a nice and friendly looking place View menu

Hamburger with no meat, cordone blue burned, schnitzel the worst in all Munich, and won't continue on the rest. They asked 1 eur extra to change from baked potatoes to fried ones...and in general expensive for the bad quality of the food. Never again

Loved this neighborhood place. Very close to the apartment we rented. We wanted good local food and that's exactly what we received. So much so that we came back after a long day in old town. The beer choices were good and the food specials were great.

Neighborhood restaurant with excellent bavarian food that is not your average classics, but with modern touches that really make a difference. Absolute fantastic lunch option with their sandwiches (try the pork belly or the pulled pork), and their Sunday duck is also to recommend.Always great and smiling service (with good English if you need some help) and a couple of tables outside.Make sure you stop by when in Maxvorstadt! The good things are:Very reasonable pricingGenerous dishesNice serviceGood draft beerBut:The Goulash soup was soooo saltyYou can only get butter as an order and then you get huge chunks of itThe potato tapas was too oily and again vey very saltyThe place was empty when we came in for an early dinner ( 18:00) and full when we left, so I guess other people find this place more agreeable. For us it wasn't such a great experience.

We have visited this restaurant a few times, and always enjoy it. We have previously hired the bowling alley in the basement, which is a great way to spend an evening, but this time we came for lunch with friends. My partner and I had the potato dumplings, and our friends had various gigantic meat dishes. Everyone ate everything, and really enjoyed it. It was a sunny day, so we particularly enjoyed our table outside. Would highly recommend!

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
