YO! Sushi - Richmond

Struggled to find my reservation. Had to send a meal back as it was cold.

Argued to go here tonight and I won or did I lose. Waited ages for someone to take first the drink then the food order. My tip was about 3

Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were given very little attention and not told about the special offer menu until we asked. Apart from that, it was fine. View menu

Great service especially being matchday at Twickenham! We were very appreciative for the quick turnaround as we were headed to the rugby We also liked that our allergies were checked as one of our party has a severe sesame allergy. Will definately return and recommend

We were disappointed when our nearby Carluccio's closed down, so we were thrilled to discover that Carluccio's Richmond had opened. We decided to eat there before heading to the Richmond Theatre and we both enjoyed delicious meals and excellent service. The food was reasonably priced, but we found the cost of wine by the glass to be quite high. Despite that, we had a pleasant overall experience.

Very poor experience at Carluccios Richmond (after some good ones in the past . Excessive delays in delivering food, collecting orders. When food finally arrived after apologies from the management it was incomplete. Maybe due to an emergency upstairs (water was leaking through ceiling into the mens washroom . The menu has been updated since my last visit, offering a larger selection but also higher prices. The food was delicious. I felt sorry for the two young women working there as the restaurant quickly filled up with diners both indoors and outdoors, leaving them overwhelmed. Service was slow and it was difficult to get their attention, but it was not their fault as they were clearly working hard with limited staff. As a result, the bathrooms were also in need of maintenance.

We went to this restaurant for a meal before the theatre, but the service could use some improvement. We started to get anxious about the timing, as even when we tried to ask for our bill, the waitress acknowledged it but then went off to serve three other tables. The olives were drenched in marinade, but the chicken Milanese and chicken Caesar were both good. The Pinot Grigio was also decent. It might have been okay for a leisurely lunch, but for a pre-theatre meal, the service needs to be more efficient, and unfortunately, it was not up to par.

We pre-cooked a table and arrived a little early. However we were welcomed with a smile and were able to enjoy a drink until 12 noon when the main menu kicked in. The foccacia was light and tasty, and our dishes of lamb and calamari were wonderful, with good portion size and excellent presentation. The restaurant was very busy, but staff ensured we were served as promptly as possible. We were only too happy to enjoy the ambience and the lady who served us had a wonderful friendly, yet professional manner. This is our favourite restaurant when visiting this area.
