"We were staying at the Hotel 47 Grad and chose to dine at Ziegelhof as it was a 5 min walk away. We booked online using their website but when we got there they didn't have our reservation. Thankfully they had 2 spare tables and we sat in the garden area.Throughout Konstanz (and Germany) there are a large number of people who like to smoke which can ruin the dining experience but maybe because this restaurant is in the university area we were lucky enough to find that no-one was smoking. The menu was in German but the waitress guided us through it in English. I went for the schnitzel which can be up-sized to the "African" size. A true monster and well worth the 3 extra Euros. The food was very cheap and tasty and we enjoyed the meal. Recommended!"
