"Driving towards Friedrichshafen Airport, we saw this lovely building and stopped for lunch. It was full of work people and buzzing with atmosphere. The specials of the day around six euros were a pasta dish and a local sausage dish. Both in quality and size...were fabulous, fresh and so tasty and very good on the eye. I wish we could replicate this great lunchtime menu in some of our busy and larger English establishments. Parking was available just outside which, was full, but good for future reference. The service was efficient and friendly and it was a fitting goodbye to Friedrichshafenand only about one mile from the airport. Do try this one"

What else is there to say? Adequate parking, guestfriendly and personalised and attentive service, as well as very good Swabian food. All in all a very nice dining experience

This is a nice family restaurant. We dined outside in the courtyard with a mix of locals, and tourists in town for the Ham Radio show. With my poor German language skills and the waiters excellent English, language wasn't a problem. He explained the menu...and we really enjoyed the food and the evening

They offer a nice menu selection of authentic German dishes and desserts. A full bar menu with local favorites, including cherry apple cider. The service was good, large portions and very popular with local patrons. The interior is very comfortable and authentic German. They do...accept credit cards, but only EUR

My wife and I were in the area for a few days and looking for some authentic Swabian cuisine. This was certainly the place! The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was average but also with a bit of...an attitude so rated low. Cleanliness: Service: Presentation: Taste: Atmosphere: Value

After reading reviews here I chose this place for our family after a long day of hiking in Bregenz. It was my second choice and I'm so glad I changed my mind. The food was delicious and fair priced and the portions were perfect! My...husband had the chicken curry and I had the pork fillets after reading another rating on this site. I highly recommend it

Found this place on trip advisor and took the rather longish walk there from our hotel in Friedrichshafen. Sat in the garden as it was a lively evening. Lots of locals doing the same thing. Food and service were good and prices very reasonable. It...is a bit outside the city center but you can walk or take public transportation to get there. Definitely not touristy

We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express which is quite close, and were looking for a pleasant dinner before going to bed. Tle location is a bit strange basically this is an IndustrieGebiet; and it is sandwiched between brothels. Think of a...typical German beer restaurant! This is what it is, and it does it very well. Good food, good beer, prompt service. Excellent value

Recommended by hotel staff and only a short walk away I needed to try it. It’s right by the entrance to the Zeppelin factory. It’s great. The building is old and inside is classically German. Service was prompt with English menues available. I went simple:...French onion soup German style followed by a local Swabian “ravioli.” Definitely not Italian. Very filling and tasty. Their grilled meats and fish looked good as well, maybe next time. Beer was good and inexpensive. Coffee was great. Dog friendly. You need to have a bill over before you can use a credit card. Easy enough to spend that for a party of
