"Actually, it was planned to go to another well-rated place above the road, but split the second decision to go here. Handwriting menu in german, but in english explained. have the carved with mushroom sauce, pommes and salat in it came separate plates I had been afraid of when I had sat alone! I have done every bit of fun, for the first time carving so I have nothing to compare, but with me was crispy, juicy and well cooked. great German feeling, not touristy at all. Please note that it is only a note. a walk to the nearest money machine."

Visited Zum Köbes twice with a group of Dutch friends. Very friendly atmosphere, authentic German food and drinks. No tourists.

Schnitzel Köbes undercooked (half of it imposible to it) and dry. Salad floating on oil... Not cheap for the quality of the food.

We had the Himmel un Ääd at this place together with a couple of glasses of Kölsch. The food was very average but the beer was nice! We never went back! View menu

the waitress was very nice, she worked alone and could supply a complete restaurant and a bar. eating was ok, the salat was good not the typical German dressing.

Our hotel recommended this place. It was excellent. Obviously, a local bar. It is away from tourists and the city center. Schnitzel was excellent and so was the service. The Kolsch was cold and the waiter kept it coming. Don't be in a rush. It...has a pace of its own.

this small bar restaurant was recommended by our hotel. it is about minutes to walk north of the railway station in clever street. it was calm when we entered a wet Thursday night and the very friendly lady in the service showed us. the English version of the menu card while we have drunk a few welcome beers. the home cooked kitchen was really good, tasty and quickly served. also enjoy local wine!
