We liked it very well, we were there a few times last weekend. The food was very delicious, the service was very friendly and attentive!! The only minus point we forgive is the temperature of the gifted beer: it was definitely too warm!!! Shame!

The beautiful Renaissance Zum Riesen Gasthaus and inn (Inn of the Giant) has been hosting travellers since the 15th Century.It is Germany's oldest inn. As might be expected it was very busy on the sunny day we visited the beautiful town of Mitenberg.

To stay in Miltenburg for a few days, we only had to try out the famous house of Giants. We reserved online and got a confirmation immediately, unlike other houses that did not react at all. We were very kindly greeted and as soon as it was found that our German NIcht is too good, the staff spoke more slowly so that we could understand them. All employees were very attentive and considering how difficult they had to work, they were very efficient. We sat right next to the bar and were able to observe the pace at which beer was poured and served. So many are cast...
