the hotel restaurant has a changing vegan suppe, main dish and dessert on the menu that are all very good. the combination of ingredients is especially worth the price. beautiful sitting opportunity in free, friendly staff. two times during our stay there and that was the best experience in this region.

We were 3 couples, we already knew it was good, but our friends were also really excited about the food!!! The food was served to all 6 guests at the same time by 3 service ladies. I can't remember where there is such service anymore!! For us the best restaurant in Ahrenshoop, after testing some others, we returned to the Sandpiper on Sunday!! Thank you!!

The Restaurant zum Strandläufer is located directly on the village street in Ahrenshoop opposite the Kunst-Kate. There are around 30 seats in the restaurant and a beautiful outdoor terrace with another around 30 seats. The map is small and clear. There are four fish dishes and four meat dishes, some starters and desserts. A small menu promises fresh and handmade dishes ala card. We had the catfish fillet and the cod. And what can I say? The catfish fillet grilled on a lava stone with sesame butter, bok choy, carrots and mango bulgur was really excellent. Conclusion: The sandpiper is definitely worth a visit.
