"during two professional stays on the area, we ate twice in this restaurant. the choice in the center of speyer being quite reduced, we necessarily return to restaurants that have not disappointed us. We have eaten on two occasions on the terrace that is completely covered and is located in the pedestrian street of Speyer. On two occasions, the reception was warm and the service quite quick (the two times the terrace was full). the dishes are good with some Hungarian dishes and other locals. The addition is in line with local competition for the same service.Only flat, during our second meal, the terrace was invaded with flies which somewhat embarrassed us but had to be related to temperatures because the next day during the meal in another restaurant on the terrace we were also embarrassed by flies even if there were fewer numbers."

I love this restaurant. One of the best in Germany. In a wonderful city Speyer, direct in the Rhein river with a beautiful Dom.

.lautet my judgment for the "old coin" in speyer. friendly, pleasant service; fresh, tasty food offer (I recommend the maispoularde;) very tasty wine (the silvaner is a typical peel). There are places inside out. the price/performance ratio is good. my judgement: absolutely try!

What a wonderful meal we had at Zur alten Münz! The outdoor seating was comfortable and the staff extremely courteous and helpful. Our meat was perfectly cooked. Both meals we ordered came exactly as described, as well. We each ordered a plate of food, glasses...of wine and then shared a bottle of water--total bill came to

we were four in the old coin. eating was great, the gans from the season map is a real recommendation. also the wine (negroamaro) was excellent. the service was very attentive and the food came quickly. a total of 5 stars recommended. a tip: best booking. during our visit, permanent guests came, who had to leave again because they had no reservation.

I visited the restaurant in the evening and got the last table outside. very nice service, drinks and eating came very fast. I had the pork fillet with chilikartoffeln and cheese in the speckmantel. Unfortunately, I didn't like this compilation so much, the filet was a bit too long roasted, the salt potatoes in the chilisoße somehow didn't fit right. the speck coat was very good, but the cheese hardly crumbled. I should have ordered something else.

we spontaneously ate four in the old coin. in summer we can definitely recommend a table reservation, otherwise it becomes difficult. after a little waiting we got a table. the food was absolutely delicious, the combinations to the partly unusual (kartoffeln with sweet-sharp chili sauce), but all really delicious. the duck was super, just like the fitness salad (or as it was called). only criticism: the service personnel could be a bit more friendly and warmer overall.

in an niche, small restaurant with good German food. the service was very attentive and friendly. the French dialect of all service forces was at any rate a two narrower value :-) we had a starter salad with really good dressing. to the main course a rumpsteak medium, which was also very well seasoned. Maybe a little bit too little to go through. my friend had a stuffed putenbrust fillet, which she found in everything for good. but the claims of a woman are not always to be satisfied :-)

wow, this restaurant has attracted us lastingly. It is located a bit off the old marketplace and therefore offers calm cozyness in the cool of the city.We sat very well, were very good and authentic friendly.I am no fan of salates at all, but my well-fit salad with fish and garnelen was stunning. it fits everything, the salat was excellently seasoned and tasted and the fish fried fine and cherry. The cooks have convinced us of their ability and the visitors of the restaurant around us also looked very satisfied.Top, more so, please.

yesterday we were spontaneously in the restaurant to the old coin and fortunately got another table. the food was absolutely fresh, tasty prepared and all around succeeded! also the friendly service I would like to mention at this place commending. a steak was a little bit too through at the garpunkt and it was offered to replace it immediately. because the steak was still very tender, it was not necessary. Nevertheless, it is sometimes these offers and the understanding that separate the spreu from the weeping! Thank you for that! above all, I would like to praise the appetizers here (see pictures). these are very refined and tasty. We will definitely come back, then also with reservations;)

"Mr The Anh Nguyen, the owner and also the chef of Le Cyclo, interprets a few traditional Vietnamese dishes using seasonal ingredients, fresh herbs, spices and aromatics. All his creations are served with French elegance. We were a big group of 18 people, so we made reservations in advance and requested several traditional Vietnamese dishes not featured on the standard menu. When people think of Vietnamese cuisine, what comes to mind is “Goi Cuôn” - fresh summer rolls that are ubiquitous in Vietnam. So it makes sense that our dinner starts off with them. Another popular appetizer is “Bò lá lôt” - lightly spiced minced beef rolls wrapped with wild betel leaves and grilled to perfection. “Banh khot” are quintessential appetizers - mini pancakes made with rice flour, minced shrimps and spring onions, golden, crispy and savory. “Chao Tôm” is a traditional appetizer where seasoned shrimp paste is moulded around a sugarcane skewer. Our main dishes are typical home-cooked dishes shared family-style, served with white jasmine rice. We had tasty “Bap Cai Cuôn thit ga-tom Hap Nước Mắm Gung”, which was basically steamed chicken-and-prawn roulade in a fresh ginger-Nước Mắm sauce; “Cá Kho Tô” - considered as comfort food by many Vietnamese, the fish develops a sweet-savory gooeyness from the sugar and fish sauce over the course of a long braise; simple but tasty chicken omelette; and “Rau Muong” stir-fried with garlic - a staple green veggie in Vietnam (if Vietnam declared a national vegetable, it’d probably be this).Due to its colorful history marked with several occupations, colonization period and foreign influence, Vietnam is a real melting pot of various culinary traditions. From a complicated Chinese to a delicate Japanese, a bit over-spiced Thai, highly distinctive Cambodian, beautiful Indian and super gastronomic French - we are happy to report our tastebuds went on a delicious culinary adventure to Le Cyclo!"
