"We have all been to restaurants in which the only memorable thing about the dining experience was the bill. Zur Haxe gave me a dining experience that I can rave about. It has huge portion that is tasty. My husband had the roasted pig knuckle with a ginormous cold beer. The skin was crunchy & the meat was moist. I had the pork liver that was only rated slightly below my all time favorite. The liver was moist & well prepared, without the gamey, **** tang. The bill for 5 people, including 4 drinks, 4 main entrees, 2 sided, & a soup was 73 euros. We were not able to finish our shared meals."

Amazing hospitality and their signature dish roasted pork knuckle is so good that I can't wait to be back! It was definitely worth one hour walking and all the calories!

Härlig restaurang med med ganska kitschig men gemytlig inredning. Maten var av det rustikt Bayerska slaget med god mat och rikliga portioner.Trevlig och effektiv personal.

Buona cena in ristorante tipico tedesco.Personale vestito a tema molto gentile.Buono il cibo. Unica pecca lo stinco di maiale forse un pó troppo secco, ma comunque molto buono. Prezzi nella media.

My plate with Eisbein mit Sauerkraut was so crowded with tasty meat and cabbage that two starving construction workers could have been satisfied. And it's incredibly cheap. If you fancy classic German food Zur Haxe is THE place to eat.

Endlich wieder mal in die Haxe!!! Mann war das wieder sehr lecker. Der einzige kleine Nachteil ist wenn man mit einer Gruppe hingehen möchte, man muss einen Tisch vorbestellen. Kann das Restaurant Zur Haxe nur empfehlen. Jeder Zeit wieder.

Started with the fried Camembert and then had to pork knuckle with potato dumplings, gravy, sauerkraut and plenty of mustard. By far the best meal I had in Germany! The service was also fantastic with our waitress offering great beer suggestions.

Sehr herzliche und bayrisch urige Bedienung mit dem Herz am rechten Fleck. Ausgezeichnete bayrische Küche reichlich und deftig. Gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Hoffentlich nicht zu bekannt da nur begrenztes Platzangebot. Tischreservierung angeraten.

Fantastic friendly place in Prenzlauer Berg.This was a bit out of the way for us but we wanted the best pork knuckle in Berlin, and without sampling them all (I tried), I think we succeeded. Absolutely delicious. Also the Goulash was excellent.Great beer also, but that is no surprise to you I am sure!Went here with my wife and young baby and the service was very friendly.

L'équipe du restaurant a l'air heureuse (ce n'est pas si souvent).Pour le repas, oubliez tout ce que vous savez de la diététique : on travaille dans le très lourd : jarret de près d'un kg, 1/2 canard rôti...La cuisine est allemande -- paraît-il bavaroise -- et très bonne.Je tiens à attirer l'attention de certains, le caractère parfois sucré/salé de certains accompagnements ou sauces peut dérouter.Bière impeccable.Et tarif "à l'allemande".
