"I had the pleasure of visiting Acton Cafe, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The coffee at Acton cafe is exceptional. From the first sip, you can taste the quality and expertise that goes into each cup. Whether you prefer a classic espresso or a creative specialty drink, they have something to satisfy every coffee lover's palate. They also service breakfast and lunch at an affordable price. The cafe is very clean and the staff are very attentive. I highly recommend this cafe if you’re looking to have delicious breakfast."

"We had a Japanese friend staying with us who had not had a Japanese meal in England before. We decided to try this Japanese restaurant as a takeaway and ordered several dishes. Our friend rated the meal overall as a 6 out of 10. I...would agree with her. The dishes were cooked to the Western palate and had a little too much sugar added making the fried udon, teriyaki chicken and fried aubergine all too sweet for the Asian palate. However, we will still visit the restaurant in future. We will make a point to request the chef to reduce the amount of sugar and salt."

"We booked a party of 8 for a 5.45 slot as we had to leave at 7 to attend a concert at 7.30. Although some members of the party were late, orders of most people were placed at 6.00. No-one got their main course (in some cases the only course) till 6.45 despite several requests that the performer in the party should be served as soon as her food was ready. Staff waited for the latecomers order to be taken, and then all food was served at absolutely the last minute. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of diners, and communication was difficult due to language difficulties. My Lasagne was overcooked and unappetizing. I will not go back."

"Had dinner here with a friend, excellent meal with delicious food (deep fried Brie followed by chocolate cherry tart with sour cherry sorbet). The evening was made by the fabulous waitress Egle who not only looked after us so well all evening but was equally attentive to the other tables. Wonderwoman! As I was staying on the same block, I returned for my breakfast next morning it's a great place to watch the world go by and also ate dinner again, this time with my son grandsons. Again, cannot praise Egle and the other staff enough for their friendly professionalism. Incidentally, as I'm mobility impaired, I used the accessible toilet and what a beauty it is, absolutely spotless and just look at the lovely decorations in the photos! This place is a great find and I'll be heading straight back next time I'm in this part of London."

"Best pub we have been in on our visit to South Ealing. Awarded 5 stars as no one going round wearing offensive t shirts (see Castle Inn review). Seriously this place is buzzing with people eating good food or drinking a quiet pint. This is a pub that has lots of different areas where you could eat in a group or just have a quiet pint on your own. It's non threatening, and if a female you would completely safe. Excellent well trained staff. Will definitely come again when we are this way. Well done manager you have a lovely professional pub"

"We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly waitress who let us choose a table and even though there were only two of us she let us have the prime window table laid out for four. We ordered drinks and chose the set Classic Menu. The starters arrived and were lovely and the presentation was beautiful too. We then had the crispy aromatic duck course which was again delicious but we had an odd number of wraps so had to cut one in half and share but never mind! The final main course was the best yet all the dishes were delicious. The Sizzling King Prawns in black bean sauce were exactly that piping hot and sizzling black smoke over the table! The crispy shredded beef was tasty and the Thai green curry spicy. My only minor quibble was the dish of special fried rice to share could have been bigger to soak up all the lovely sauces. After each course the waitress brought a dish of warm water to wash our sticky hands and piping hot towels at the end of the meal. We will definitely be going back soon."

"Have lived in the area forever and the Grosvenor has always been one of ours, and our neighbours’, local go to pubs. Over the past few months it has just gone downhill. The food used to be quite nice (the lunch deal was especially good). It now seems to be reheated frozen food: very sloppy with no taste. The drinks are quite high for the area. Service is okay but staff aren’t really interested apart from when the manager is about. You’d think they would have pulled out all the stops following the closure for mice infestation. Sad to pass by daily and see it empty. I suppose people have voted with their feet and gone elsewhere."

"Terrible customer service. Order made and completed on just eat app as delivered yet no food arrived. When calling the restaurant I am first told that the driver called me on my phone yet no calls came through to me, I am then told the driver rang the door bell and again no one rang the door bell. I am then told food is outside my door and what do you know the food isn't there. I am then speak with the restaurant manager that the driver didnt call me, just eat called me and they would know yet again no one called me. Prime example of a fast food service being unable to provide the simple service of following through an order nor capable of speaking with paying customers. The service doesn't even warrant one star1"

"I recently visited this restaurant and ordered for grilled chicken with rice and salad as sides. I've been sick for the last 2 days with food poisoning. The chicken was dry and overcooked which leads me to believe that it was stale and overcooked. With a bill of 25£ ive ended up with food poisoning. Requesting the owner to please be careful with what you serve and look into the matter."

"I went on Easter Sunday to celebrate my sons 16th birthday with a large group of 20 people.The pub has a separate large dining area that can cater for big groups so this was ideal.The Sunday Roast was amazing and was just great value.The Roast ranged from £15-£19 and to get this price in London with such good quality food made this celebration affordable.The atmosphere was lovely with very friendly helpful staff. We will be back !!"

"As a Lebanese/Moroccan I can honestly say this place is One of the best restaurants which captures both Lebanese and Moroccan cuisines. Usually when a restaurant says they can do both they get one of the cuisines wrong but that’s not the case here the food is always amazing. What was even better was that they provided catering, so I had to have them for our wedding. BEST decision I made. Raef and his team went above and beyond to meet my needs, as well as provide a great menu all within my budget serving justice to the cultures. I can’t thank Raef and the team enough they literally made the wedding authentic as well as made it such a stress free process. Would i recommend them for a restaurant to visit? Yes… would I recommend them for catering? 100% yes! It’s literally the best thing you can do"

"My order rang food hygiene alarm bells. Ordered mozzarella panini and fries. The fries were covered in black bits from the fryer and the panini (which was brown bread in a panini shape) had no cheese in it. When I pointed out the lack of cheese, they simply added mozzarella to the sandwich I’d sent back. So the sandwich I had bitten may have been out back in the toaster. By then the inside of the sandwich as liquid from the original tomato with a slimy consistency. Binned it"

"much fun and Italian. paolo’s is a truly Italian restaurant that is run by the family oddi, papa and sohn! the local has been serving for over 30 years, is the standard consistent and the menu is full of classic favorite spaghetti and pasta, great meat and fish and some beautiful desserts. Among the favorites are calamari fritti, trotta rina forelle, fabulous steak with pfeffer sauce, chickenermone grappa. all recommended. stefano, who runs the restaurant, is also a bit magic and makes great cartoons! his sweats are not bad either! very friendly staff and definately worth a visit, especially with good weather as they can dinate al fresco!"

"One of my favourite places to go for Japanese pastries. It's on the pricier side, however the cakes are fantastic! They have various sakura blossom cakes (seasonal) and they are fantastic. I tried the cheesecake, sakura Panna cotta and matcha cake. They are all meticulously made and delicious! I'm not too crazy about the sakura latte and I've had a better black sesame latte. Anyhow, this place is definitely recommended to try when you're around."

"Recently visited the new in with friends for a birthday and had an amazing experience throughout our evening. The food was delicious and presented professionally. We tried a few different cocktails but loved the spritz menu the most! We were served by their amazing waitress Gabriele who made sure all our requirements were met throughout the evening and even brought out a birthday special to celebrate. "Go for the (decaf) coffee, stay for the art! A lovely cafe on the corner perfect for a spot of people watching. "My Gr and Gr Gr grandparents lived doors down and I was born in Southall. Returning after years and visiting Brilliants up the road I popped into the PoW for a pint before and was not disappointed. All of the pubs I knew as...a kid are gone and this one has obviously picked up the slack, I arrived a t and the racing was on large tv's which is good, but soon taken over by the first premier game of the season although very noisy, it added to the atmosphere which had a good ethnic mix. There is a larger family type bar around the side which probably doubles up for a restaurant, but most tables seem to have someone eating on it, whether a snack, mixed grill or full meal. I sat at the back on my own and two older chaps just plonked themselves down without asking if the table was taken, anywhere else and this may have been a problem, so don't be surprised! their order of food arrived which looked good, and I have heard that the mixed grills are excellent. The Kronenbourg was good and I will be back but probably a bit earlier, mid-week on a non game night and try the food."
