"came to park royal to actually go to the pizza hat, but was not here in years, and saw that pizza hat had been closed, so we thought could eat on nando. the guy on the door was in order, and the waitress behind the counter was okay. but it cost me ÂŁ30, I ordered a simple chicken burger with pommes and shiny on the side. my daughter had the chicken legs and fries. we both ordered a dessert. we had two glasses of water from the donator. it was disgusting. we waited for almost 15 minutes for our food when it came my burger was cold and annoying looking, and cold rolls. with a kind of red sauce in it. it was terrible, the chicken was as bland and pale as it had been cooked. they didn't bring my chips. I had to go to the counter and tell the same server that my chips were missing. she bought it within a few seconds. my colleague was good and much of it. my daughter eating was hot and they enjoyed it, we had to call over the server, for our desserts are served. the waitress that went to our desserts (which were the **** cake, and the salted caramel cheesecake, took her time, I saw her behind the counter and did not see her with a spat to get the cheesecake out of the tablet, she was with the hands, I watched her and she took a piece of a cheesecake then I had put her back with the idea of but I thought it was over and out. it got bus drivers and busie, which felt restless about covid and everything. I didn't eat the bungalow, I ate the cold pale huh, and chips and shiny, I'll never come back again. it's just because they closed pizza hat and that movie that's such a shame. overall I did not cost my food, but my daughter did, the salted cheesecake was abit strange, the cheesecake part was abit krumbly, like feta cheese style, it was not creamy in texture. the place was flowering, but not for me. by the way, eating was also not worthy to go on my Instagram page,"

"Visited the restaurant for lunch. The best part of it is the service time. It was super quick So if you are in hurry and no time to spare but want yo eat hot food this is the place. We ordered saag and makki di roti, which was good with a zing of green chillies. The gol gappas were good and the papri chatt. We order some masal chai and chole bhatura . The only let down was chole bhatura which was not yo the mark. However the overall experience was good. We were out in like 40 mins.."

"Our manager was retiring and a group of 12 of us came for lunch. Whilst the service was generally very good and most were happy with what they had. Myself and my colleague were very disappointed with the Knickerbocker Glory. The menu stated that it contained fresh mango, banana and strawberries. However when it turned up, my friend who was sitting at the other end of the table to me noticed that there was no mango. She queried this with the waitress who asked her if she wanted mango sauce on the ice cream. I didn't know what conversation had taken part, the waitress asked me if I wanted mango sauce to which I replied no thankyou as I already had strawberry or raspberry sauce on my ice cream. As I started eating I noticed that there was no mango and then my friend said they had ran out. This was totally unacceptable, we should have been told this when we ordered. The Knickerbocker Glory was mainly banana. A very cheep alternative to mango! If they had ran out they could have easily popped to the market stall or one of the many supermarkets nearby. ÂŁ6.95 for some banana and ice cream is totally unacceptable. The reason I didn't complain at the time is because it was my manager's Retirement and I didn't want to spoil or create a scene."

"I walked in just after they had opened. There was a girl in the counter, who gave a glance but didn’t give two hoots I was there. And then an older lady came and with similar indifference went inside. It was just amazing so I said in a raised voice; “is there anybody here to greet me with smile make me welcome”! Then the older lady came despite what I had said, obviously didn’t get I was saying tersely asked me, “what you want!?” I asked for “fresh jelebi”; she said, she will “microwave”! I got it that they don’t have “freshly made”. As I was hungry, I said OK. But it was stale smelly. Then I asked the same older lady, if she could boil for me few fenugreek seeds I was carrying (as home remedy for my high blood pressure); she tersely said, we don’t do such things! Whereas every other Indian place I have been they have quickly accommodated me. Then I asked for “masala tea” which took like 15 minutes to arrive just before I was leaving. And then I started to write this review and asked them, how would they like me to write it!? The young lady made her face and turned to show me her back, while the older lady mumbled like “no problem”. This is not how a customer is treated in any restaurant, no matter what! Finally “masala tea” came; that was nothing “masala” about it. This kind of place should not just exist."

"Avoid this place. We went for parantas, expecting freshly made hot ones. They were hard and stale, warmed up in the microwave. We asked for butter and received the miniature ones you get in hotels with breakfast. The Ras Malai had gone off. We highlighted this and got no apology. We received no bill, just a verbal quote. I questioned this as it was high considering the small amount of food we had. They charged us ÂŁ3.60 for the miniature butters! When we questioned it, the staff were arrogant and rude. We left, vowing never to return."

"Last Thursday I decided to bring my family to this restaurant because of the birthday of my wife. I had a special credit that I received from my sister a while ago as a birthday gift. So we went to the restaurant and only if I asked the waiter if we could use the voucher on this day. he went to the manager and informed us that the voucher is not from them because there is no sign or the voucher number. I was surprised because the address and other details corresponded to their location. I called the manager, and he told me that my credit is not from them. / I called my sister who bought the voucher for me to explain to the manager how she bought the voucher from them. the call did not change how the manager acted, he did not believe that was the credit of them. my sister works in the bank and honesty is her priority. I felt in this restaurant as an intruder someone who wants to steal their pizza or pasta. I asked about the owner details and left the restaurant. my wife and my children were very disappointed. my son wept because he wanted pizza, but we went to another place. the manager has even not asked me to follow the phone, email or other details to follow this case. he was not willing to check who was on the layer when the voucher was sold. he did not try to help us have a nice evening and the fall resolved. it's just a bad service, and my sister has lost that she paid for this voucher."

"This is a review about delivery. Not able to review the restaurant itself as we're in lockdown so delivery or takeaway orders only. I was very disappointed with my experience today to say the least. I had previously ordered via Just Eat and had a better than average experience but you don't get the option to customise your dishes as you want (which we did want) so I ordered from the website. The order total came to ÂŁ47.80 and there seemed to be a tracking feature on the order. The order was still showing as being prepared when it arrived and the driver was acting a bit odd as he seemed hesitant to hand the bags over. Maybe he knew he had missed something off? But the bags had knots tied in them to show they'd been packed at the restaurant so one would assume they were checked and packed before being sent out? No? Course not! We opened the food boxes eagerly and imagine my dismay to see MY main dish missing my Thai Red Chicken Curry!. I called the restaurant and the guy who answered the phone was really vague, offered no apology and said the driver must have mixed it up (great, dump the blame on the delivery guy)! I asked how long it would take to get the missing dish out to me and he said about 10 minutes. The restaurant is half a mile from my home. Oh and when you spend nearly ÂŁ48, you kind of expect some free prawn crackers, everywhere else seems to include them when you spend ÂŁ20 or so and this lot didn't? I was really disappointed at my main course being missed off. It was the only dish I had wanted for myself, the other dishes were a mixture of dishes for my husband and a couple of Chef Special Chow Mein dishes to eat the next day.. I took one mouthful of the Chow Mein and knew I wouldn't be eating anymore of it now or the next day (absolutely flavourless)!. My red curry turned up 20 minutes later by which time my rice had gone cold. I had a few mouthfuls but was just put off by tasting the awful Chow Mein dish! My husband enjoyed his pork in black bean sauce and beef in black bean sauce which we had asked to have mushrooms instead of green/red peppers and extra red or green chillies added (which they managed to get right) with egg fried rice. Our mixed starter was completely hit and miss prawn toast was cold and my crispy seaweed was not crispy...Again the items I enjoy were not enjoyable! Oh and they obviously felt bad about the mixup as they send a bag of prawn crackers with the red curry. The only reason I'm giving a 3 star review and not less is because the black bean sauce dishes and the red curry dish actually tasted pretty decent. .I won't be ordering from this lot again either through Just Eat or directly.. Recommendation: check your orders are complete before sending them out, other reviews here seem to have had negative experiences too, maybe you should read and take note? The order was delivered 20 minutes before it was due and your website was showing that it was still being prepared so less haste and more care would maybe help you retain customers!"

"I've lived in Acton for a year now and had never wandered into the Bridge cafe until this morning. It's a 10 min walk from West Acton and North Acton station, and only a short walk from where I live. I knew of the cafe from The Apprentice and had often wished it was open on the weekends when I was absolutely hanging and needed a fry up. So when I woke up this morning with a craving for beans on toast and bacon, I thought I'd give it a go. It's a modest space, no where to plug in a laptop, no where to charge up your phone, no fancy coffees and not even a bathroom for the public (the only downside perhaps). I think that's part of it's magic though. You come in, have your breakfast/lunch, enjoy the peace and quiet and then stroll off. The place was quite busy at 10 am, a haunt for local builders from the near by trading estate. The menu is simple, prices are fair and the service is great. I was particularly happy with the tea, proper builder's tea. And the breakfast was served quickly and hit the spot. The owner was friendly and we were able to have a chat, not something that often happens in busy chains. Before I left I was told I was welcome back any time. I'll definitely be back."

"Being local and eating out a fair bit we were looking forward to trying this place out and when we saw a groupon I thought great way to try it so I called to book a table and the lady rudely said well we dont take groupon anymore . I explained it was dated until 19th July so she said ok then we will have to honour it . We turned up with a third person so were happy to spend extra and of course we would have had a few glasses of wine/beer extra so were not there on the cheap just to use up the coupon and to test the cuisine. Anyway the lady behind the counter totally ignored us so I asked where to sit and she pointed and said anywhere. We took a table and waited and waited (there were only 3 or 4 other tables of people there) so I went and got the menu 's myself. After choosing our dishes still no one had bothered to come over to us so I assumed it must be a self service place and went up to the counter to order. She told me to sit down and she will come over. Another 5 to 10 mins later nothing, not even a drink. She was doing a couple of coffees for a table but then we saw another coule come in and she went and served them so we had no chice but to walk out and say stuff the groupon. We went to Chianti restaurant instead where we were welcomed with open arms and happily spent ÂŁ75 instead. Service is everything and I would guess the food in Onik must be great as you can only be this rude and ignorant if it is superb but sadly we will never know as i will never frequent this palce again. I live and work locally and they have not only lost our repeat business but those of others who ask me for a good restaurant in this area."

"I went to the pub at the end of November with some friends, and all of us (around 10 people) ordered food. Most of the dishes took over 30 minutes to arrive and were cold. When we asked the manager why there was such a long wait for cold food, he was very rude and we had to argue with him to have our meals remade. The second attempt at preparing the food was better, but some of the starters like the onion rings and popcorn chicken were soggy. We decided not to complain again to the manager and just left. It's unfortunate because the pub has a nice atmosphere, but it is poorly managed and some of the dishes are not well-prepared."

"Food is a class as always, undoubtedly lingering in house service was perfect at table 42, 07/11 @19.30, the downside is take away, masala dosa, sambhar soaked vada chana bhatura. Chana bhatura packed billed without chana on reaching home, the telephonic conversation with priyanka ends with a reply that next time free chana will be given How is this possible, every other time when we order through Uber as well bhatura is delivered with sambhar chutney without chana. We pay ÂŁ6 odd for a bhatura without chana, is this fair? Take away service always is at low standard appalling response Sadly we never wish to experience this anymore Hoping SBH Management pays attention to this"

"Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, not too far from the Southall Station ~2miles and main streets of Southall, is Taste of Punjab.... and what a tasty dinner it was, for a group of 10 in London, on business. The food was fresh and yummylicious. Sarson ka Saag a dish made from mustard leaves+spices came without its twin, makki di roti flat bread made of corn , since his chef had gone home. Harjeet managed to find a chef who came in just to make this for us in the late evening hour. The Aloo Paratha flatbread with spiced potatoes was a generous size, with a dollop of butter, as it should be, for an authentic Taste of Punjab. The lamb roghan josh, chicken kebabs, biryani and rotis, topped with Lassi yoghurt based drink salty or sweet options were scrumptious. After this fulfilling repast burp! , the walk to the station is desired... 7 Stars for Customer Service Harjeet kept his restaurant open for us despite it being over his closing time, and took care of all our requests; 5 Stars for Food as it lived up to it 's promise of an authentic 'Taste of Punjab '. Shukriyaa Thank You Harjeet and Team, for making it a memorable dinner for us!"

"Wonderful experience. First time in the area and we walked into the most welcoming environment, the owner treated my children so well and was very accommodating. The food was DELICIOUS. You can clearly tell there is a lot of effort into the preparation and the ingredients in the dishes. Favorite spot by far"

"Very disappointing. Very very disappointing. I have eaten at this restaurant before but after eating there last week I will never go again. I ordered a panang chicken curry, the quality of the meat was poor, the sauce was thin and watery, the rice overcooked and my friends meal was supposed to have seafood in it and there were about 3 bits of seafood which were overcooked and it tasted of nothing. I am a big fan of Thai food and therefore was very disappointed with the quality of the food. We complained and got nowhere, they couldn't of cared less. The restaurant was busy so I think that they have just got to the stage where they are just serving in volume and not worrying about quality...read more"

"We had a fantastic family meal at Oligano’s and were completely wow’ed by their food and a whole experience. Our pizza, grill and mezze were absolutely delicious. It’s Lebanese cuisine but with a certain unique twist. We had three small kids and they really couldn’t do enough for us. It’s a family business run by Nisrine and her husband and we wish them all the luck and success in the world with their fab restaurant. Keep up the good work, guys!"

"We were a group of about 15 people. Our overall experience was mixed. The food was good. We ordered the mixed grill and the charsi chicken karahi. The grill at ÂŁ32 is expensive for what it includes. Not a the grilled items were tasty either. I would suggest ordering separate grilled items like chops, malai chicken etc rather than the mixed grill. Surprisingly, the karahi portion for a full karahi was on the smallish side as well but at ÂŁ27 acceptable. We asked for tap water and were told that the water in the taps is contaminated for some reason and we should get some bottled water which we did an obvious lie because they would have to shut down the business if indeed the water was contaminated. Service was very slow with non attentive staff. Had to ask for drinking glasses 3 times before we were given some disposables. Forks and spoon took a while and the mixed grills were served without any naan which took another 5 minutes. The bottles of sauces on the tables were sticky and sickeningly dirty. There was a pile of used dishes on the floor that the staff had not bothered me to clear up because they were busy at the time. We almost left the restaurant as it looked very unhygienic. Typical Asian establishment that has compromised on cleanliness because they are now a successful business such a shame."

"Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ealing Broadway, you can find this veritable oasis of tranquillity and charm in Walpole Park. Its elegant yet understated setting is matched by a corteous yet welcoming service and a good selection of dishes. On a quiet Wednesday afternoon we enjoyed a fantastic and colourful butternut squash salad and a Caesar salad and shared a slice of homemade cake, a very moist coffee and orange cake, I think. The espresso was very good too, and (believe me! I can prove a very difficult customer to please when it comes to coffee! The excellent and friendly service by Simone completed our experience. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing place where to meet a friend, carry out some work, take the children after school for a run in the park and a substantial slice of homebaked cake... this is the place for you. I'll be back. Definitively with the same dear friend and hopefully with my family!"

"I stayed here recently with my husband and it is a perfect location with excellent connections into central London and also Heathrow airport. The staff are really helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. I must mention Kante from the bar/restaurant what a fantastic asset to Hilton this staff member is. He is always smiling and brightens my day whenever I see him and he makes a great latte."

"Our first visit, a miserable Wednesday night. We loved the warm welcome and although the restaurant was quiet it had a really pleasant ambience, spotlessly clean, decorated with attractive fresh flowers. I really liked the menu, the choices were appetizing and I really could have happily eaten everything on the menu. My starter of beetroot tarte tatin was delicious, the egg perfectly cooked. A fresh foccacia was provided on the table and we soon demolished the lot. Our table chose the cod and beans and the oxtail as our mains. We all raved about the food. If we were being picky we all found this course a little heavy on the salt, not enough to spoil our food but our preference would be for less. We all ordered dessert. The choice of a melting chocolate sponge or pannacotta. Now I'm a fair cook and I regularly make pannacotta but this made my own (well regarded) efforts look poor! It was 10 out of 10 perfection! Fabulous. All very simple and that is not a criticism. Our waiter was careful, attentive and gained confidence throughout the evening. Full credit to him. Well priced, good quality wine also added to our enjoyment. My only minor issue was were was the lemon in my G and T? We will be back, thanks for helping us to have a very pleasant evening."
