"There was a slight wait between our starters and main courses, but to be fair, the restaurant was very busy at the time. However, the wait was definitely worth it. Miller and Carter are well-known for their steak, and I can see why—my rump steak was cooked to perfection. I began my meal with a bowl of carrot soup, which was hot and delicious. I hadn't initially planned to order it, but our server recommended it, and I was glad I took their advice. For dessert, I had the apple and rhubarb crumble with custard, which was simply divine. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Dog friendly pub area with a lovely fireplace. The food was great! We had pea and ham soup as starter, which was hearty and yum (with a little kick which was great for a cold day). The lamb was really delicious and generous in portion too. The chicken satay was delicious as well, nice spicy, and the homemade satay sauce was good (not authentic but good enough). Crispy beef was deliciously sticky. There is a lot of chicken in the Chicken Cesar salad, lovely and moist meat which was given a garlic herb rub, really delicious. The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, friendly and attentive staff. All and all, two thumbs up!"

"we find it hard to find somewhere in ellesmere port that has more than one or two good veggie options the selection here was great, there were 5 courses for £12 deal (poppadome, starter, 2 pages and a main and/or desert) and veggie options were as disc wiper (cheese,) or mushrooms or mixed veg (both classic) the food was well prepared, really tasted great, the service was good and friendly, and the atmosphere was also beautiful. we would recommend this place if they are in the harbour and are needed somewhere to dinner for a veggie curry or to go out for one!"

"I am extremely disappointed with the service. I waited 2.5 hours only to be informed that my food was out for delivery and wouldn’t be long. After another 30 minutes with still no food, I learned my meal had been with the driver for over half an hour before arriving cold. This is unacceptable. The staff seemed utterly indifferent, and the driver just laughed it off. I used to order from this restaurant frequently, but after this experience, I question their standards. "As a first-time visitor, I discovered this gem through a Google search for dog-friendly pubs. What a fantastic place! I’m looking forward to spending summer evenings here with my family. The food was incredible, and the service was prompt, friendly, and courteous. The portions were generous and tasted like homemade delights. They served the perfect Sunday roast. Kudos to the chef and the entire staff for a warm and friendly welcome, particularly to Jamie. I also want to express my gratitude for accommodating our little dogs with their cooked chicken—they thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you for making us feel so welcome in this wonderful establishment."

"The menu is quite limited, especially with no steak options and very few chicken dishes. The dessert, a large apple and blackberry crumble, was delightful, served with both ice cream and custard. However, the restroom facilities seemed quite worn out. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4."

"Hotel, bar and restaurant located close to the M53 so handy for those travelling past. I visited for a private party in the function room which is a nice size for small to medium family parties. There is an outside patio garden area which was lovely to use while the sun was out. Buffet food was good quality and fresh although portions were a little small. Car park was very busy and so I was unable to find a space in the car park, ended up parking further up the road in a neighbouring business that is closed at the weekend. Overall a nice venue which has benefited of a recent refurb"

"The experience was terrible. I booked a table in advance, but the manager said she had no record of my reservation and asked us to pay the higher price instead. When I mentioned the mistake, she said it was a system error. We were seated at a dirty table and waited 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. I had to ask three different staff members for drinks. The service was horrendously slow, and we ended up having to hurry through our meal because we were running late for a movie."

"The service was outstanding, and the food was incredibly delicious. Even though the restaurant was busy, they promptly found us a table. When there was a delay in our meal preparation due to another customer with celiac disease requiring a thorough cleaning between dishes, we hardly noticed it. Our server came over to inform us about the situation and assured us that our food would be ready soon. I didn’t expect such a high level of friendliness and professionalism in a restaurant located in an outlet park, but our experience far exceeded our expectations."

"We recently visited the only Zizzi restaurant in Cheshire and were very impressed! The food was excellent, with generous portions and delicious flavor combinations - the piña colada sorbet was a particular highlight. It was even better that we were able to customize the ice cream to our liking (my partner prefers coconut). The standout aspect of the experience, however, was the exceptional service. A young lady with shoulder-length dark hair provided excellent service, and when her shift ended, a gentleman with a wonderful smile took over seamlessly. We will definitely be returning and recommending Zizzi to our friends! 10/10 rating for sure."

"Went into store for a family treat the guys behind the counter were really friendly and great with what may be best to order the kids. We waited for our food and when we got home we were shocked by the portions there was barely any meat and the noodles were mashed up and dry barely any sauce.the sides of veggie spring rolls and panko prawns were the only things worth eating. For the price we paid it was disgusting."

"I made a last-minute decision to visit and used a money-off voucher. I frequently go to Vintage Inns, and I've never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, and the ambiance is pleasant. It was a bit chilly during my visit, and when I asked about it, the staff informed me there was an issue with the heating. Regarding wheelchair accessibility, I visited once with my mom, who is in a wheelchair, and we found it relatively easy to access from the back of the building, although the entrance area is quite small. The price per person is around £20–30."

"A little disappointed in the afternoon tea. The sandwiches had no butter on the bread which were like doorstops, not dainty at all. The sausage rolls, quiche and cakes tasted shop bought, but the wraps were nice and the scones were really lovely. I presumed that refills of tea and coffee would be included in the price but were not. However when I said this to the person serving us she included it in the price. Next time I will choose something from the lunch menu which is always lovely.
