The restaurant is a very clean and modern space, yet it also features some lovely old touches, such as an open fire. The bar staff were friendly, and the food they offered seemed quite popular, though I didn't get a chance to try it during my visit. I only had one drink this time.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for lunch, and it was a delightful experience. The cost per person was around £20 to £30, which I found to be very reasonable given the quality of the food. I highly recommend their Fish and Chips – it was absolutely fantastic! The dish was well-prepared, with crispy batter and perfectly cooked fish. Overall, a wonderful spot for a satisfying lunch. View menu

Absolutely excellent pub! We walked here ten years ago when we visited the area and decided to return this weekend while we were back. Nothing has changed (for the worse). The location is fantastic, the food is delicious and great value, and the staff is really friendly. We visited as four adults, but there were also families with children who seemed to be enjoying their experience. Highly recommended, plus there’s ample free parking nearby.

The appetizers of glazed chipolatas were delicious, with just the right amount served. We both had the brat beef, which was cooked to perfection, as was the accompanying sweetness. The bratkartoffeln were wonderfully crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside—absolutely delightful. The pièce de résistance, however, was the Yorkshire pudding; they were massive! A huge thank you to the Cheshire Yeoman. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes! xxx

"Our first experience at a Zizzi… We arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday expecting the place to be packed but happily we managed to get a table straight away we had a nice booth tucked away in the corner. I visited the toilets first of all which, let me just say.. the corridor definitely took me by surprise! Each toilet is in its own little room with your own personal sink, I think it’s the best way to have public toilets. First of all, we ordered drinks which was 2x glass bottle cokes which are the best type our drinks came with a complimentary portion of pasta crisps. We ordered a cheesy garlic bread without the caramelised onions for starter which arrived pre sliced and was really delicious, it could’ve done with a little more cheese though. For mains, my partner had spaghetti bolognese and I had the pepperoni campagna pizza with added chicken. The pizza was delicious, a little unbalanced on the toppings, it was nice and full on the right side of the pizza compared to the left side but I was full by the time I reached that side anyway! Bonus points for the mini pizza cutter, that was brilliant. The food was generally good, my partner said the spaghetti needed a little salt to bring the flavour out but it was a good sized portion and both meals were made with quality ingredients. During the main course, I ordered a couple of “softail” drinks; the Pineapple Punch and the Passion Fruitini I wasn’t very impressed with these, they were far too sweet and mostly filled with ice, I just expected more for from two drinks that cost £9.90. The staff were generally friendly, we did keep hearing one of the chefs shouting at one of his co workers, something about a metal bowl but he was very loud and aggressive not something you want to have on show if you’re going to have a open kitchen in your restaurant. We used the QR code to pay our bill which was a nice and easy way to do it."
