"Arrived on Sunday evening for booking .Shown to reserved table and Drinks order taken . Was told on arrival all Sunday Lunches were sold out so I ordered The Ham Hoc only to be told this was sold out too .So I ordered a Rump Steak and surprise surprise this was sold out too and all because they were changing the Menu on the Monday night ,although I cant imagine they are not doing Sunday lunches and Rump steak on the new menu .I was offered the Sirloin steak for the same price as the Rump Steak which I accepted .The meal duly arrived and the Chips were nice and hot however the Steak was COLD ,I should nave complained but given the problems getting a meal I just put up with it and ate as much as I could. When the Bill arrived they have failed to give me the Sirloin Steak for the price of the Rump so I had to send that back to be corrected .Overall a very poor show would NOT go back or recommend this establishment to anyone .I am sure they must have some satisfied customers but sadly I am not one of them ."

Great pub, it was my introduction to the Sunday British pub roast and it was very good. More food than I could eat and great ales on kask.

It's just a great place to catch up with friends, excellent service, tasty food at reasonable prices! Love the coffee/small pudding dessert choice! I've been many times and I have always enjoyed myself.

We took mum out for Sunday lunch the food was lovely. Service a bit slow. Not usual standard of service slow food coming out and slow collecting our plates. Waitress a little load chatting to other tables loudly rather than looking to what needs doing

very disappointed. starter and head were very poor and looked like it had been dropped on the tellers. the staff told us the kitchen was overwhelmed. the personal was nice, but not on the ball we had to confirm that we had our ancestors and waited for the main course. I wouldn't go back.

"Our first experience at a Zizzi… We arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday expecting the place to be packed but happily we managed to get a table straight away we had a nice booth tucked away in the corner. I visited the toilets first of all which, let me just say.. the corridor definitely took me by surprise! Each toilet is in its own little room with your own personal sink, I think it’s the best way to have public toilets. First of all, we ordered drinks which was 2x glass bottle cokes which are the best type our drinks came with a complimentary portion of pasta crisps. We ordered a cheesy garlic bread without the caramelised onions for starter which arrived pre sliced and was really delicious, it could’ve done with a little more cheese though. For mains, my partner had spaghetti bolognese and I had the pepperoni campagna pizza with added chicken. The pizza was delicious, a little unbalanced on the toppings, it was nice and full on the right side of the pizza compared to the left side but I was full by the time I reached that side anyway! Bonus points for the mini pizza cutter, that was brilliant. The food was generally good, my partner said the spaghetti needed a little salt to bring the flavour out but it was a good sized portion and both meals were made with quality ingredients. During the main course, I ordered a couple of “softail” drinks; the Pineapple Punch and the Passion Fruitini I wasn’t very impressed with these, they were far too sweet and mostly filled with ice, I just expected more for from two drinks that cost £9.90. The staff were generally friendly, we did keep hearing one of the chefs shouting at one of his co workers, something about a metal bowl but he was very loud and aggressive not something you want to have on show if you’re going to have a open kitchen in your restaurant. We used the QR code to pay our bill which was a nice and easy way to do it."
