"Basically, a very positive first impression, as the Marche restaurants are very harmoniously furnished and the food is well presented and the selection is very impressive. Citizens, pizza, pasta, grill, asia, vegi, etc. So basically something where you can go with the whole family. The sweets, tea and coffee as well as juices, fruit and salad were delicious. Unfortunately, all the warm dishes we chose were inadequate. The pasta was the opposite of al dente and was therefore spurned by the child, very slimy. Child two complained about the grilled snail and after I tried it I agreed: inedible. The burger and pizza didn't fare any better. The citizen mainly tastes of the intense pickle, the rest was lost and the pizza tasted bland. Overall, no recommendation, unless we were unlucky that day."

"Al Lido ist ein fantastischer Ort, wo ein aperitivo zu genießen, ein Bier oder ein schönes Abendessen dans l'eau in Lugano à pieds. Der Blick auf den See und die Berge ist spektakulär. Ich habe auch versucht, einen Ort für Business und Conference Dinner und es erstaunlich gut funktionierte. Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service war ausgezeichnet und am Ende waren unsere Gastgeber sehr zufrieden."

"Dies ist ein Hotel, in dem wir zuvor übernachtet haben und dessen Lage am See hervorragend ist. Die Zimmer sind sehr veraltet, aber der Blick auf den See macht den Mangel an modernen Einrichtungen wett. Leider mussten wir kurzfristig absagen, da mein Mann einen Tag vor dem Abflug einen Bauchwurm bekam. Ich war mir der Stornierungsbedingungen bewusst und musste diese für die gesamte Woche bezahlen, da es im Ermessen des Managers lag. Dies war kein Problem, da wir versichert waren. Die Angestellten an der Rezeption gaben jedoch an, dass sie den Manager kontaktieren würden. Nach zahlreichen höflichen E-Mails erhielt ich jedoch keine Antwort. Auch wenn sie ihre Politik erklärt und gefragt hätten, wie es meinem Mann ergangen wäre, wäre es etwas gewesen, mir dann eine Quittung für die Zimmergebühr mit der Nachricht „Wir hoffen, Sie haben Ihren Aufenthalt genossen! ! War nicht akzeptabel. Ich bin sehr traurig, dass ich unseren Urlaub verpasst habe, aber die gemeinsame Höflichkeit der Hotelleitung hätte geholfen.Es tut mir leid, dass ich diese Bewertung schreiben musste, aber ich bin der Meinung, dass der Mangel an Verständnis und Mitgefühl, den das Hotel zeigt, völlig inakzeptabel ist."

"Auch hier durch Zufall gelandet und eigentlich sehr gut verpflegt. Montag, gegen 13.30 wenig Gäste. Etwas kühler Empfang, aber freundlich. Das Vitello Tonnato und auch das Piccata Funghi waren ausgezeichnet. Preislich für diese Lage mit dieser Aussicht wirklich sehr vernünftig. Die Fahrt mit dem Fiat 500 war super schön trotz sehr engen und kurvenreichen Strassen.R. R."

"Als externe Gäste waren wir heute Abend hier essen, nach dem wir hier am Nachmittag hervorragend Kaffeetrinken waren köstlicher Erdbeer-Milchcreme-Kuchen).Im gesamten Hotel begegnen einem die Angestellten ausgesprochen höflich und freundlich. Der Service bei Tisch war von der ersten bis letzten Minute extrem aufmerksam und kompetent. Die Speisen waren über alle Gänge hinweg von erlesener Qualität und hervorragendem Geschmack: Tuna-Carpaccio, Rinds-Thai, Ribeye-Tagliata, hausgemachte Nudeln mit Pesto, Käsebuffet, Dessert. Zum Abschluss kann man wunderbar etwas an der Hausbar, im englischen Style, mit Marlon Brando am Klavier trinken. Ein rundum aussergewöhnlicher, hervorragender Abend. Ein absolutes Wohlfühlhaus ! Unser nächster Aufenthalt in Lugano wird uns sicherlich hierher führen."

"Wir haben nach dem Abendessen noch einen kleinen Spaziergang gemacht und kehrten im Außenbereich dieses cafes ein. Schönes Ambiente gute Getränkeauswahl. Preise sind für diese Region durchschnittlich hoch....also schon nicht gerade günstig; )Wir hatten nur Getränke deswegen kann ich zum Essen leider nichts sagen. Das Personal war allerdings sehr freundlich und ist uns sogar gute 100 Meter ums Eck nachgejagt weil mein Mann sein Handy liegen gelassen hat."

"Die guten Bewertungen beziehen sich wohl auf das Vanini Piazza Riforma. Dies ist das Vanini beim Manor. In diesem Vanini wird man gar nicht bedient!! Mehrere Leute warteten schon seeehr lange. Nach über 30 Minuten (die unmotivierte Kellnerin ging mehrmals an uns vorbei, ohne auf uns zu achten) verliessen wir dieses Caffé ohne etwas zu bestellen! Miesester Service von Lugano!!! "Als wir Lugano besuchten, fragten wir einige Freunde, welche Orte für ein kleines romantisches Abendessen gut seien. La Serra war eine der Optionen. In der ersten Nacht waren wir leider voll (was normalerweise ein gutes Zeichen ist , also kamen wir am nächsten Abend zurück und Mann, bin ich froh, dass wir das gemacht haben. Als wir eintraten, fühlten wir uns wie eine Art Oase (die Instagrammabilität des Ortes ist offensichtlich . Es hat eine Stimmung, die man nicht wirklich in Bilder übersetzen kann, wahrscheinlich wegen ihrer Musik; Ich musste mich schleichen und fragen, ob ich die Wiedergabeliste haben könnte, während ich auf dem Weg zur Toilette war (was übrigens wie aus Architectural Digest aussieht ...! .Roberto war unser Kellner. Er half uns beim Navigieren im Menü und wir richteten unser Augenmerk auf die Käseplatte und ein Wurstbrett als Vorspeise. Es wurde alles aus der Region bezogen, und vor allem die Fleischseite war köstlicher, als wir dachten, dass das Tessin es bieten könnte (ich denke, die Nähe zu Italien hat seine Vorteile ... . Danach hatte ich ein langsam gekochtes Rindfleischgericht, das göttlich war (wahrscheinlich der Hauptgrund, warum ich jemals eine Bewertung abgeben würde . . . Ich meine zart, saftig, genau die perfekte Menge Umami. . . ! Meine Frau hatte einen mediterranen Falafel-Teller, der sehr gut war (sie versucht, ihn vegetarisch zu halten, aber nachdem sie den Mundglanz meines Rindfleischs probiert hatte, war ihr Neid spürbar ... . Wir beendeten mit zwei Schokoladenkuchen, die wirklich köstlich waren (die Präsentation war eine Fortsetzung der Stimmung der gesamten Erfahrung, wie in einem gehobenen Restaurant in LA, aber richtig gemacht und ohne Anmaßung . Nur eine großartige Erfahrung, die im Tessin, besonders wenn es um Stimmung geht, oft fehlt. Ich bin froh, dass wir unseren Instinkten aus der Nacht zuvor gefolgt sind und zurückgekommen sind."

"Nach Konsultation von Tripadvisor waren wir unsicher, ob wie ins Roccabella essen gehen sollten (im 2016 waren div. negative Bewertungen zur Bedienung drin . Wir entschieden uns dann dafür und gingen gleich 2x hintereinander dort essen. Leckere, frische und gutbürgerliche Menues, sehr freundliche Bedienung (da hat sich wohl Einiges zum Positiven verändert seit 2016 . Das Ambiente unbezahlbar: Romantische Terrasse direkt am See, schön eingerichtet mit weissen Vorhängen. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. :"

"My wife and I went on a whim with our two young children after they were in Milan. Although it was a bit too late for lunch, they stayed open to us. In fact, the cook, which is a relatively new rental from Tuscany, came from the kitchen to appreciate us. He spoke fantastic English. He showed us the freshly picked pig mushrooms. The Risotto was fantastic! There was a well-behaved puppy that kept us company. The meal was a little expensive but not surprising for the first-class service and excellent dishes."

"The first bite of the small kitchen courtesy was crazy delicious, out of this world! But let’s go step by step, because not the whole experience was like that. This is a restaurant that privileges quality over quantity, as the waiter informs you from the beginning. Expect expensive prices, very well presented dishes, very good service and good taste. The portions are compact, without actually being really small I had the surprise menu, which disappointed me because it was not really a surprise. The surprise consists of the chef (or the personal of the restaurant) choosing for you what combination of starter, first plate, second plate and dessert you will have. But the dishes were listed in the weekly menu, so it was not an additional choice to what I had already read and that’s why I think it was disappointing. I expected something not included in the menu. The taste of the food was between good and really good in all dishes. Except for the risotto, which was prepared in octopus ink and after half of my portion the taste started to feel too intensive and somehow too salty. In this sense, the portion was too big to be part of a 4 -course menu. I found the atmosphere elegant, strict, and boring, really decadent and this does not transmit he sense of joy hat the food gives you in the mouth. I found particularly annoying that the clients didn’t seem to feel comfortable talking in a normal voice. Everybody was whispering their conversations as though they were afraid of disturbing the other people. It didn’t feel relaxed and natural, but this might have been just a matter of the clients of that particular night."

Dopo le mie spiegazioni sul fatto che fossi cliente farfugliava qualcosa e nonostante la figura di cioccolato che ha fatto, anziché scusarsi per il granchio preso, continuava indisponente e poco cortese. Tra amici, parenti e suoceri saranno circa trent 'anni che frequentiamo quel locale ed ancora una volta mi viene confermato per essere imprenditori non basta possedere un esercizio ma bisogna saper lavorare e rispettare i clienti che ti fanno campare. "Walking past the outdoor dining tables, Gran Caffe left the impression that it would be a peaceful and probably relatively inexpensive place to catch our evening meal. When we did circle back, a woman there warmly greeted us. As I was considering the menu, she conspiratorially informed me that she would suggest a starter dish that would teach me about Swiss-Italian cuisine. It turned out to be a mediocre ravioli dish. The thing is, she selected the same dish for my companion. Wouldn't she opt for something different, if she was interested in teaching us about the cuisine. The suspicious part of me got to wondering if this choice wasn't based on profit margin or harder considerations as much as it's culinary quality and if her warm, maternal schtik might not be a role she'd perfected for tourists. Or, maybe I'm being paranoid! But, forwarded a is forearmed. The risotto with lake perch was good; the wine she selected went well with the fish. But the $140 tab was The largest amount we have spent on a meal and I would say that the whole experience didn't justify a tab of that magnitude"

"we came to this place for their bareness outside. because of the rain that has already ended, he has not worked anymore. we had to get into the facility. we weren't asked if we came to eat or drink. we came deliberately. for a drink, we ordered cocktails and talked. the waiters came to us several times and asked if we wanted to order. we answered politely that we would only drink. after that, an older waiter approached us, who forced us to order food. he began to be rude and said that it is a restaurant and we should eat here. we said we had no hunger and went into the bar, but unfortunately it was closed. to whom he replied that he was not interested in it and “It is not my problem”. I didn't know how to look at this incident, but one of my friends from zürich told me that I would have called the police for such unbreeding and ignorance. "We came to Lugano for a visit and decided to lunch at this restaurant. What a mistake should have eaten at the macdonalds next door it would have been better food and better service. One of our party was served her main, a pizza a hour and half before most of the rest of us got our pastas, that is except one of our party, they forgot his pasta, which was the same as mine so no trouble in the cooking. We had finished ours half an hour before his food arrived, and it was tasteless and the pasta was so over cooked. I'm appalled this restaurant is still in business it is terrible. The staff are also very rude and have no idea how to handle irate customers. I wish all the worst for them in the future"

"I went in this restaurant several times for lunch and I can say that I enjoyed eat here. Pizza is good but on average but all other dishes are really good. the most of the dishes are based on the south italian cooking culture, made with quality ingredients but there are also other kind of foods. The owner and the staff is very friendly and enjoyable. Is a little bit out of the centre but I think worth it to try. Considering the quality, I think prices are really good . Pasta dishes are great!During the week a daily menu is available."
