"Great staff and good food. Beer is Greene King, which is ok. We were just a bit confused by the food situation to be honest, we may have missed the signs telling you how things worked. There are menus on every table, with table numbers, some said reserved, some didn't. We sat at a none reserved table and started looking at the food menu. A very nice lady asked if we'd reserved, we hadn't, and she said she'd have to ask the kitchen if they could accommodate us. Ok. Luckily they could so I went to order at the bar, but it's actually table service. Which is all great, but the table numbers suggest you go up yourself. So there seemed to be a secret handshake to food, but we could have missed a sign explaining this. In the end the food was ok-good. Seemed like standard pub food to me. Great staff and service, you just may need to reserve to guarantee food."
