"At Maria you already feel like a regular guest if you are not yet. The Taverne Diogenes is a hospitable place with a warm host, to which you can always return. The foods and drinks are perhaps not at the same level as the stars, so you get heart-made home cooking that suits the ambience and is extremely fairly priced. The portions are large as one imagines them from grandmother I think so far no one should have gone hungry out of the tavern. Especially the fish foods are worth a try. We are always happy to be with Maria and are happy to have them in the neighborhood."

"I was there two times. First time I had a pizza margarita which tasted really bad (the worst I ever had) but was gluten-free. The second time I had a simple pasta with tomato sauce and meat. It tasted ok, but went completely bad. Had to go to the restroom in restaurant already. Please stay away from this restaurant as a GF."

"Mein erster Besuch gestern bei der Speisekammer West hat sich mega gelohnt und ich war total positiv überrascht, vom freundlichen Service, die übersichtliche und gut geschriebene Karte sowie auch das hervorragende Essen. Wir saßen draussen und konnten den Abend dank des netten Service, was eine Ruhe Freundlichkeit ausgestrahlt hat, sehr geniessen. Grosses Lob geht besonders auch an die Küche. Die Vorspeise war so lecker, insbesondere die Himbeer Dressing zum Carpaccio von der Ringelbete mit Feldsalat gerösteten Kürbiskernen. Im Anschluss folgte die Knödelduo , Spinatknödel und Rote Beteknödel in brauner Butter und gebratene Kräutersaitlinge, einfach ein Traum. Ich habe mir noch einen Nachtisch bestellt : Nougatmousse mit Rosmarinzwetschgen, dazu noch ein Espresso der Abend war sehr gelungen und ich kann schon sagen, es war nicht der letzte Besuch im Westen ich werde wieder kommen. Ich kann es wärmstens nur weiter empfehlen, kommt vorbei es lohnt sich. Danke an das tolle Team, das es euch gibt um so ein tolles Genuss erleben zu dürfen."

"Worst waiter ever, this Italian girl deserves a medal! We pre-ordered a table for all of us 30 people, for dinner we ordered biff steak, potatoes and salad. We agreed that with the owner. When we came there they didn´t have a big enough table...so 5 of us had to sit at another table but this waitor was very angry at us that we were not sitting together as she had to serve two tabels now! When we got part of the food, the steaks were Medium rare and some of the people wanted well done, she than was very angry again because we didn´t specify it before hand. But she never asked! And half of the steaks were not even done so she could simply tell the cook to do the rest of the steaks well done. After the food we wanted to drink cognac, so I went to the bar and ask the bar tender there which Cognacs they have. She quickly ran to me and told me to sit down as i´m not allowed to be at the bar! : So i sat down and waited for her, she than come to us with a bottle of Courvoisier which had about 30 ml liter left in it and that´s all the Cognac they had and it was clearly not enough for all of us. As we noticed that the hotel bar had few bottles we asked if we can buy it there and you can imagine what answer we got! NO NO NO that´s not possible! So there you go! If you want to a friendly staff visit another hotel as this one sucks!!!!!"

"we had reserved in advance and ordered the peka, toal tasty under an iron bell covered with glut covered cooked collections of calf, carrots and vegetables. absolutely recommended. However, it is only offered in the cold season.You definitely need something geduld and I do not recommend to enter the restaurant with the lookout on peka with a gigantic taste, as it can take the production method until you get it served.The service was also really charming and accommodating. the chefin still takes care of the well-being of its guests. the homemade zitronenlimo is also absolutely recommended here, not a too many variants, sour makes fun. for bierfans the dark staropramen is absolutely to be missed. We will definitely come back to eat or try out the normal card (offers Croatian, Swabian and vegetarian foods) we do not know yet."

"Very good food at affordable prices super attentive staff goods with a larger group for dinner here also special requests were made stand-alone and implemented with their own suggestions for combinations. "Wir waren zu viert im Aspendos in Stuttgart, voller Vorfreude auf gehobene türkische Küche. Als Münchner hatten wir uns online nach einem guten Restaurant umgesehen und hatten hohe Erwartungen. Leider wurden wir bitter enttäuscht. Ambiente: Das Lokal hinterließ zunächst einen guten Eindruck. Wir durften uns im Wintergarten einen Tisch aussuchen, was angenehm war. Doch leider endeten die positiven Eindrücke hier. Service: Der Service war das einzige Highlight des Abends. Die Bedienung war freundlich und bemühte sich trotz allem, was schieflief. Essen: Die Wartezeiten waren zu lang, obwohl das Restaurant kaum besucht war. Die Vorspeisen (kalt und warm) kamen nach zu langer Wartezeit. Während die kalten Vorspeisen geschmacklich in Ordnung waren, waren die warmen Vorspeisen nur lauwarm und bestenfalls durchschnittlich. Die Hauptspeisen enttäuschten auf ganzer Linie: Rinderfrikadellen: Vier winzige, trockene Frikadellchen, die offensichtlich in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt wurden, serviert mit Bulgur, einem Stück eiskalter, trockener Grilltomate und einem kleinen weißen Bohnensalat – für 20 €. Gegrillte Aubergine: Auch dieses Gericht kam nur lauwarm aus der Mikrowelle und ohne jeglichen Wow-Effekt – 15,50 €. Lammhackspieß: Der Spieß wurde auf eiskaltem, trockenem, nach Pappe schmeckendem Fladenbrot serviert. Die bestellten Rosmarinkartoffeln entpuppten sich als drei kalte, gekochte Kartoffelscheiben. Ein Dip zum Fleisch, wie man ihn von türkischen Restaurants erwartet, fehlte völlig. Alles wirkte lieblos und in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt – weit entfernt von „gehobener Küche“. Das macht mein türkischer Imbiss an der Ecke besser! Zusätzliche Beobachtung: Anscheinend ist der Sonntag kein guter Tag, um im Aspendos essen zu gehen. Es wirkte, als stünde an diesem Tag nur ein überforderter Hilfskoch in der Küche. Wenn das tatsächlich der Fall ist, sollte der Wirt ernsthaft in Erwägung ziehen, das Lokal sonntags besser geschlossen zu lassen, anstatt den Gästen ein derart enttäuschendes Erlebnis zu bieten. Fazit: Das Aspendos konnte unsere Erwartungen nicht einmal ansatzweise erfüllen. Für diese Qualität sind die Preise eine absolute Frechheit. Einzig der Service rettete den Abend vor einem kompletten Fiasko. Wir waren nicht die einzigen Gäste, die sich über die Qualität beschwerten. Leider können wir dieses Restaurant niemandem empfehlen."

"There is nothing special about this restaurant: The food isn 't really bad (I 've been offered worse , but between 4 adults and 2 children there was not even one dish that was at least somewhat memorable. The service was awkward, to say the least. What was...shocking however was their approach towards wines: they didn 't have a wine list, didn 't have a display of the wines they were selling and the few that they were displaying were showing no prices. Upon asking them about wines we were first offered red or white , upon further digging into the topic they asked me what do you drink?! , the next question was how much I 'd like to spend and so on and so on. At some point while I was still fighting to understand WHAT EXACTLY they 're selling they started offering me highly overpriced 40yrs old collector 's wines (off topic again! and at this point I gave up. We just got something they brought us: it was an overpriced simple Rosso di Montalcino, which they presented with a crazy story about how Rosso di Montalcino was being made. The story had nothing to do with the truth, but they felt really good about it... I 've never seen such ridiculous, unprofessional approach towards wine from an ITALIAN restaurant! Combined with the truly average food I can only call this one mediocre at best. Certainly a waste of time and money!"

"Draußen flankieren noch zwei vom vorherigen Besitzer (Chinese) übriggebliebene Löwen den Treppeneingang. Der ist mit abgewetzten Teppichen belegt und nicht sehr einladend. Die sollte man wegschmeissen. Innen setzt sich das, wie zuerst befürchtet, aber nicht fort. Moderne, saubere Einrichtung mit nur wenigen paar chinesischen Dekoresten.Die Bedienung, eine deutschsprachige sehr junge Dame, ist gleich per Du mit einem und berät einen sehr freundlich und kompetent bei der Auswahl. Auch später ist immer mal Zeit für ein kurzes Gespräch mit dem Gast. Auf der Karte sind wirklich vietnamesische Gerichte, die man sonst beim Asiaten so nicht bekommt. Spezialität sind die Suppen, aber es gibt auch viele andere Gerichte mit Rindfleisch etc. Die Preise sind günstig. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen."

"Ich war dort aufgrund des Geburtstages meines Onkels, die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich, die Vorspeisen und die Getränke wurden auch schnell gebracht, beim Hauptessen haben sie es aber leider nicht geschafft alle Gerichte gleichzeitig zu bringen, so dass die Hälfte schon fertig war, als die anderen noch nicht mal Essen hatten, was aber vielleicht auch daran lag, dass wir 15 Personen waren, das Essen war angenehm scharf uns man hat sich gefühlt wie bei seinem letzten Thailand Urlaub. Die Preise waren schon im höheren Bereich aber durchaus gerechtfertigt für die Qualität"

"a nice and cozy place with super friendly staff! pinsa manufaktur offers many vegan options, also with vegan mozzarella, acidic cream and bolognese soße. many of the veggie topped pinsas are vegan or can also be made vegan, just ask them! we enjoyed four different variations that were all delicious. they were all between 9 11 €, not big, but not too small either and very good quality. they also offer sweet versions of their pinsa dough with zimt, bananen etc. will definitely come back and check all other vegan versions: updated by the previous review on 2019 12 05"

"In Jakes Diner bekommt man richtig gute Burger. Ambiente passt und das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Die Auswahl kann sich sehen lassen und was mir besonders gut gefällt, sind die wöchentlich wechselnden immer etwas ausgefallenen Burger Variationen. Geschmacklich steht der Burger Triple B oder der Burger Republic in nichts nach. Auf jeden weit vor Hans im Glück ;) Was die Portionen angeht, ist Jakes auch mein Favorit. Bei meinem letzten Besuch hab ich festgestellt, dass sie nun auch verschiedene Veggie und Vegane Burger anbieten. Hatte abe große Lust, den gleichen zu nehmen, wie beim letzten mal. Meine Freundin fand den veganen allerdings richtig gut. Finde die selbergemachten Limonaden recht nice. Gut wäre hier allerdings wenn man sich zwischen zwei Süße Stufen entscheiden könnte. Vllt German und American (süßer) ;)"

"We were based in Bad Wildbad for the Rossini festival, but wanted to visit Stuttgart for the art museums and for the Mercedes Museum. We split it into two days. On one days, yesterday, we arrived in Stuttgart by train at about 11. From the main train station, we casually strolled north through the entire length of the Schlossgarten which ends just about at the Thai Thaani's front door! Couldn't have been more convenient, though we could have taken either the U1 or the U2 tram to get there as well. We were the first customers and were seated in the delightful outdoor garden. We're lucky we got there early, as by 1230 the outside was full, with many tables pre-reserved, and tables were beginning to be occupied inside, too. And this, on a Tuesday! Inexpensive lunch menu, with generously portioned dishes at around 8-12 euros. We decided that at those prices, the two of us could afford to have three dishes. We had duck in an interesting red curry sauce; green curry salmon, really good; and a fried tofu dish in a kind of basil sauce, also excellent, with good-quality tofu perfectly cooked. Germans simply don't eat spicy, and unless you ask, food will be "dumbed down". I like food spicy enough to cry when I eat. We asked for "almost Thai spicy", and that's what we got. Perfect. Not so spicy you couldn't taste the food, but quite spicy. With two Singhas, we paid a total of 39 euros. Not too bad. The regular a la carte menu is quite a bit more expensive, with main dishes between 18 and 23 euros. I think that 17 euros is wildly expensive for Pad Thai, for example!!!! But with care, I think one could construct a good complete dinner for about 35 euros per person. Charming, English-speaking staff. They could even do basic Italian!"

Valle

"Das Valle wird fast ausschließlich von Berufstätigen frequentiert - zumindest zur Mittagszeit. Die zentrale Lage fußläufig zur Innenstadt und zum Hauptbahnhof gibt hier sicherlich den Ausschlag.Im Freien sitzt man sehr angenehm. Serviert werden überwiegend Nudelgerichte, die aus meiner Sicht der Pizza vorzuziehen sind (zu dicker Teig).Für "schnell was auf die Hand" ideal."

"Der Laden ist ziemlich groß und trotzdem fast immer voll; auch mittags. Das spricht dafür, dass sie irgendwas richtig machen:Essen überdurchschnittlich zu unterdurchschnittlichen Preisen: Vorspeise, Hauptgang, 1 Gl. Wein und Espresso geht gut für 20-25 € pP. Und dafür bekommt man keine Tiefkühlpizza, sondern es schmeckt wirklich. ZB Lachs in Mandelkruste (16 €?) oder großartige Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare ('chitarra') mit extra aglio&olio (14 €).Den Service fand ich jedes Mal professionell-nett ohne Bussi-Anbiederung. Als ich meinen Geldbeutel vergessen habe, hat der Servicemitarbeiter ihn mir durch halb Stuttgart hinterher getragen. Aber auch wenn alle gutartig sind, kann es etwas länger dauern mit Bestellung oder Rechnung. Die schaffen echt was weg, trotzdem ist das ein italienischer Laden mit echten Italienern drin und wer die Zeiten mitstoppt ist hier falsch. So gibt es manchmal einen auf's Haus und manchmal halt nicht. So etwas sollte einen nicht stressen. Dann hat man hier viel Spaß, lecker Essen und eine gute Zeit. Gerne wieder."
