"Was meant to be Christmas lunch ended up being dinner as was not even served our drinks until over an hour of being there. Meant to be a prosecco each on arrival...nope. After half an hour waiting to be seated we were told we were in the wrong table. Got moved...twice...I understand that the staff are overwhelmed but don't book so many customers if you can't handle it, I'd heard from so many people not to come here for Christmas dinner for a few years but you'd think they would learn by now. Waitress brought the wrong starters a few times, she told us off and said we were at the wrong table again..extremely rude. Food was rancid but at least we were fed because I didn't expect to be. Unfortunately we never gave a tip because the rude waitress was not getting a penny from me and there were no other staff around to give a tip to."

"Cant say enough about this place, which i believe doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Had an outstanding meal last night and the staff and service was great. Beef Wellington for two (24hrs notice) was cooked to perfection as was my starter of king scallops and pork belly which complemented each other surprisingly well. It was my wife's 50th birthday and this little gem of a restaurant did not fail to deliver with the owner being more than helpful agreeing to take receipt of flowers and presents etc to ensure my wife had some wonderful surprises to go with our beautiful meal. Well done all of the staff who helped make our evening perfect. Thank you."

"Horrible and racist staff, would never step foot in this place again! We just came into the restaurant. We were completely ignored by the first waiter and he went and attended to the people behind us. We then found a table OURSELVES and another waitress came and asked how many people were here to dine. There were 4 of us and then she told us to sit down. 2 mins after we sat down, she asks us if we had a reservation, we did not. She then told us to get up and leave the restaurant. I was shocked with her disgusting and rude behaviour and we promptly left. I am so happy that we did not spend our money in such a place. They should train their staff to be more welcoming and maybe a course in customer service since there clearly wasn't any! It won't kill anyone to mention that it's important to have a reservation or that their restaurant is full so they are not taking any walk ins at the moment. The complete absence of respect is surprising and I'm sure more customers will be put off visiting if this is what their staff is like."

"the restaurant is on three levels of exposure. the interieur is cool and characterful, the conservatory is protected, but airy, the extended balcony from the open and with magnificent view over the beautiful harbour area and the sea. the personal is pleasant...and helpful. the activities of cheery managers, roxy, are a wonder to see how they slide around the restaurant like a bee in an exotic garden, in and out flattering tired boundaries with practicable lightness. here is a happy group of flowers, a family enjoy a birthday meal; there is a romantic duo, rapture and worrying; and here a lonely flower on a eckish watch the multicolor scene, absorb the atmosphere and the flowing flut of talks. I'm well used to the Prezzo kitchens and regularly in their Canterbury restaurant. I will repeat what I have always said that the ice and the coffee are unmatched, along with an interesting menu and efficient service. a word about broadstairs. it is like a piece of cornwall, which is overlaid after kent, a picturesque bay, but with an urban hinterland. the closer they approach the sea, the more charming it becomes. it is quirky, picturesque and architecturally diverse. if they like long walks, there are many corners and cracks to explore here and on. the connection with charles thickens gives him a pronounced literary heritage and there is a museum dedicated to the great man."

"The meal at this restaurant was very disappointing. The food was cold, even after we tried to warm it up again, and the same was true for the dessert."

"Visiting the Vue next door, we wanted a quick decent meal. Ask didn't disappoint. I had the small calamari to start, which was good and not overcooked. It needed a little salt though and I had to ask for condiments. Main was seafood linguine in a tomato sauce. This was good and plenty of seafood with good flavours. I did sample their chilli oil which is fabulous and has been noted for a future pizza visit! The icing on the cake was Tiramisu to finish. This was delicious and actually surprisingly light too! Top job! I would have given a 5 but little things like having to ask for condiments, no bowl to put the shells in from the seafood, maybe even a finger bowl?. These little details would have raised the bar. Overall though, very nice and won't disappoint. Good for a pre cinema meal!"

"this place has been infinitely better since the new management took it about 3 months ago. the new chef chef is trained restaurant so that the whole food tastes amazing and authentic, and not too fatty or salty like some other Chinese dishes. we got singapur fried noodles, special roasted rice, house special chow my, sweet and acid garnels, sweet and acidic blacks, crispy chili rip, salt and chili chips, and bananen frit for dessert and honest, it was all delicious. generous portions and cheap. will definitely come back and recommend friends. a great way to finish a nice day in ramsgate."

"sadly every time i visit while the wife is browsing the store it seems under staffed but the other day was hard to find a table that didn't have the last customers tray and left overs on it ,looked around for some one to clear...clean it ,sadly no one around ,so cleared the table contents to another table ,then the chef came out delivered a meal to a customer , went back with his hands empty , came back again ,yep went back empty handed , and again 3 x times ,never took back so much as a cup ,he could cleared three tables for no extra effort ,then a young lad came out clearing tables 5 mins later ,i dont ask for much just a clean cleared table ,think customers are being let down."

"This aspires to be a ‘Boutique’ hotel but falls a little short. The hotel is clean and well decorated. The continental breakfast was unimaginative – it was adequate but limited in choice. It’s also worth mentioning that you may have to bring your own toilet paper and do your own washing up*! We were looking forward to our stay at The Falstaff and apart from being put in a room right at the top of the building which was reached by narrow winding stairs it started well. We were provided with tea, coffee, water and biscuits. We stayed for 3 nights and during our stay our room was not serviced. Now, I don’t mind making my own bed but we were left with dirty cups so I went down the narrow winding staircase to reception with the dirty cups, explained that our room hadn’t been serviced and asked for clean cups which were provided – no apology or explanation given. I also mentioned that we would need more toilet paper the following day I was told a note would be made. However, on returning to our room at 9:30pm the following evening we found the room had not been tidied again and we had 2 dirty cups* and very little toilet paper. There was nobody on duty at that time so we had to source our own paper – not easy at that time of night. The next morning we at least received an apology. We were so disappointed especially as we had read other glowing reviews of The Falstaff."

"Ramsgate is a lovely destination to explore, and upon entering Sunrise Cafe, it appeared to be a typical British cafe, which is why we decided to dine there. While placing our order, the lady taking it seemed to struggle to understand my order, but we eventually got everything sorted out and paid. Unfortunately, my breakfast did not arrive with the rest of the food for my wife and children. After inquiring about my missing dish, the lady claimed that we had not ordered it, despite us pointing to it on the menu twice. Despite the confusion, my meal eventually arrived, but by then my family had finished eating. The food overall was typical cafe fare, with the exception of some hash browns that had a strange taste, as if they were fried in a cleaning solution. I would recommend double-checking your order before paying and avoiding the hash browns. Despite this, it is still a pleasant place to dine."

"One of our favourite restaurants in Broadstairs. The food is all freshly cooked , plentiful and outstanding in terms of taste quality. All the prawn and seafood dishes are exceptional . Tim the friendly front of house manager is an amazing multi-tasker, but the owners of the restaurant are charming people too. This small and intimate restaurant which is close to the railway station in the high street is unlicensed and the added bonus is being able to take your own drinks at no extra cost. All in all outstanding value for money, a real gem in Broadstairs Parking: Parking is a bit of a lottery in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant as high street parking is in demand , but there is a choice of paid or free street parking in the surrounding areas five minutes walk from the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access but as the restaurant is small , then any space or movement constraints become noticeable immediately on entry . Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Paid street parking"

"We have a holiday home at the nearby Foxhunters holiday park and visit this venue twice a week when we are staying there. Firstly it is always a welcoming and warm welcome from the owners and the staff with excellent food across the menu , The scotch egg is an excellent starter with a variable and again excellent selection for the main course and deserts. If visiting the village treat yourself to an excellent time here at the New Inn Extremely good value for money."

"We stopped in yesterday during our visit to the vintage shops in Cliftonville and absolutely loved our visit. The food was really lovely and the staff were mega friendly. The café was clean, spacious, and cosy. We were the group of three where my friend didn't eat his tomatoes (we both have autism so he was being very particular, haha). Thank you so much for your lovely, warm welcome. We left with nicely filled bellies and were happy that we found you."

"We spent two nights at the Crescent Victoria, and found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful sea view. On the first morning, we enjoyed our breakfast in the garden under the warm sunshine. The staff made us feel very welcome and the food was outstanding and plentiful. We felt very spoiled and would definitely return here again. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience."

"We were down in Broadstairs for the weekend and the usual restaurant we go to on a Friday evening was fully booked because it was Folk Week (Morris dancers around every corner). We had seen this restaurant from the pub across the road and always wondered what it would be like as we love Chinese food. My husband popped over and booked a table for the Friday evening. He explained that I was in a wheelchair but the lovely lady (I think her name is Grace) said that it was a small restaurant and not really wheelchair friendly but if I could get up three steps she would book the table immediately in front. That was fine for me as I can walk a little way. When we arrived she had booked the first table as you go in and helped me up the three steps and sat me down. We folded up my wheelchair and she very kindly put it in a corner out of the way. The menu in here is very extensive and as we were not sure what we were ordering we opted for a set meal. This started with a selection of things including seaweed, prawns on sezame toast, dumplings, spring rolls and ribs and it was delicious. We then had thin pancakes with cut up lamb, hoi sin sauce, cucumber and spring onions, again absolutely delicious.! The main course was egg fried rice, a chicken dish, a beef dish and sweet and sour vegetables. This was all washed down with a bottle of Chardonnay. The bill was something like £50.00 and Grace helped me back into my wheelchair. Highly recommended as the food is gorgeous but you need to book as the restaurant is small and fills up quickly. We will definitely be going back."

"Called at 7pm to place an order for delivery. Was told there would be a 90min wait. No problems. Food was supposed to be delivered by 2030ish. By 2100 we was really hungry and had called to find out when the delivery was due. Was told the driver was on his way. 20 mins later still no delivery so rang again and was told the driver had left but the delivery slip had blown away so he had returned to the restaurant again but he was now once again on his way. At 2130 our order finally arrived. On a positive note the food was delicious and hot. Sadly let down by the lack of timing on the delivery. If you want a takeaway from here, go to there and collect yourself. Don’t rely on the delivery times."

"What a fantastic find. Here on hols and did my research as to which local place to get some Chinese takeaway. That research led me here, and I’m glad it did. Faultless. We ordered online late afternoon, for collection. The takeaway called to ask if we wanted our food early at the point they opened. With hungry family to feed I said yes and headed down there. Minor negative is that it’s pretty impossible to park nearby so take someone to hop out and collect. Very friendly on the phone and in person. Food was top notch. Enjoyed by all, and we are super picky with our Chinese. We all rated it better than our local one, which we have spent much time and money settling upon. So that was a nice surprise. Prices good We had salt and chilli chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls, egg fu yung, egg fried rice, plain chow mein and chips. All excellent. And no heavy aftertaste. Almost sad to be going home tomorrow as we won’t get to have it again. Choose here. Your research ends now."

"This was our third visit to this restaurant, and this time we tried their lunch menu. We had previously only been for breakfast and coffee and cake. We visited during their busy time with the "eat out to help out" scheme and shared two smoothies, as well as savory and sweet avocado toasts, each accompanied by a dessert. The owner and her staff were very polite and helpful, despite being busy. They offered us a table upstairs, which we were delighted with. The food was amazing and we enjoyed every bit of it. We both agreed that we would have been happy to pay full price. Without a doubt, we will be back. This is our favorite vegan restaurant!"
