"Ramsgate is a lovely destination to explore, and upon entering Sunrise Cafe, it appeared to be a typical British cafe, which is why we decided to dine there. While placing our order, the lady taking it seemed to struggle to understand my order, but we eventually got everything sorted out and paid. Unfortunately, my breakfast did not arrive with the rest of the food for my wife and children. After inquiring about my missing dish, the lady claimed that we had not ordered it, despite us pointing to it on the menu twice. Despite the confusion, my meal eventually arrived, but by then my family had finished eating. The food overall was typical cafe fare, with the exception of some hash browns that had a strange taste, as if they were fried in a cleaning solution. I would recommend double-checking your order before paying and avoiding the hash browns. Despite this, it is still a pleasant place to dine."

This café really is an excellent find. The food is very good, plenty of it, and quite reasonably priced. Excellent cup of tea, too. Staff are very pleasant. Keep up the great work!

3 Bacon and egg rolls, the bread tasted like it had been frozen, then defrosted, and was quite tough and tasteless. The bacon filling tasted bland and watery,it was not a particularly memorable visit, unlike our previous one.

The café is very clean and serves delicious food all day. I would recommend trying the roast dinner as it is delicious with fresh vegetables and absolutely scrumptious roast potatoes. The staff are friendly and they also offer other tasty meal options.

I went in this place for lunch as it seems to be a place for the locals.its a basic style of cafe but having said that they are very friendly and so was the locals.i had a cheese and onion baguette with mayo that was very nice with plenty of cheese.i would definitely go back here again as it’s very reasonable priced and a nice cafe with great locals.

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch after walking round Ramsgate and came across this small cafe . It was very popular s most of the outside tables were full. Inside, it was very busy. You order at the counter and wait at your table for the food. It was served hot and well cooked. The staff were very attentive and it was a pleasure to have a meal in there.

The restaurant provided excellent and speedy service, with tables placed at a safe distance from each other and a welcoming atmosphere from fellow diners. I found the prices to be reasonable, as I enjoyed a breakfast priced at £5.50, which included 2 sausages, 2 strips of bacon, 2 eggs, beans, chips, and toast. The sausages were a bit lacking in meat content but were decent, while the bacon was thin and slightly overcooked. The rest of the meal was satisfactory and nicely presented.

.... Step right into the sunrise cafe, it is clean and bright. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the food is great. My husband and I each had a mega breakfast £5.90) with extra mushrooms £1.50) and it was delicious, nothing was too greasy, everything cooked properly, nothing to complain about, just a couple of niggles, it would be nice if there was a choice of white or brown bread, chips or hash browns, beans or tomatoes. That being said, however, it's a lovely breakfast, highly recommended

Went in with family for lunch, have been before and had lovely breakfasts! Waitress was rude and in a foul mood. Ordered an apple crumble and it came out looking like jelly! Looks so soft and unappetizing that my sister thought it was a piece of chicken! No crumble to it at all! When I complained and asked them to take it back the manager argued with me and was very rude! I asked for my money back and he told me he doesn't do refunds and that's how they came!!! Disgusting customer service, made us feel unconfortable and extremely rude! Working in a restaurant myself I was shocked to be treated the way I was! I told him to forget the £2.70 and left! Fab place as long as the waitress hasn't wo...

"Having been raised at the knees of Caribbean and African women, sometimes I’m just in need of some soul food. I’ve often gone past Mullins and seen that it is busy, and looks bright, clean, warm and friendly. And it is. The decor works really well. Low-key, warm and welcoming. Music is a soothing stream of lilting Caribbean classics. The waiting staff are lovely. So friendly. And the menu looks great. There isn’t too much of it, and it is quite hard to choose because it all sounds amazing. Price points are really good. But. The food is genuinely terrible. I went for a Creole fish stew. I don’t know how you can make a stew without flavour. When you are cooking things slowly and together, flavour infuses flavour. But not here. This was a good sized portion of piping hot well presented food. But my God it tasted awful. Basically chopped potato surrounded by small lumps of bland unidentifiable white fish, half a dozen mussels, some of which were still closed, and therefore inedible, and three flavourless prawns in shells. There was a pinch of Samphire on the top, and this was the sum total of the vegetables I could find. It came in what I can only describe as a thick red sauce. If there was tomato in it, there was no flavour to it. It was highly salty, and this was the dominant flavour throughout. The fish had no flavour of fish, and it was intensely spiced in a lip plumping way. Essentially, it was all heat and salt. With a slight tang of gents toilets. I suspect this was from the mussels. I did raise the blandness twice with the waiter, and the strange unpleasant toilet flavour. He said he would tell chef. And that was that. No feedback on the dreadful flavour other than that it was all fresh. I ate the entirety of the meal because I had travelled a long way and had not eaten. I saw it simply as fuel. It was not enjoyable. I paid and left. Mullins is so close to getting everything right, but a restaurant is its food. I’m not going back."
