"Wir machten eine spontane Kaffeepause. Wir wollten zum Kaffee ein Dessert essen, aber der Kellner, der interessiert war, war sowohl desinteressiert als auch sagte, dass er den Inhalt des Desserts auf der Karte nicht kenne. Ehrlich gesagt, war es eine sehr unangenehme Situation für das Beste von Weimar. Die Leute wollen die Zutaten der Aromen kennen, die sie probieren möchten. Als wir nach einem Konto fragten, ließ er die Quittung auf dem Tisch liegen und ging. Glücklicherweise war die Kellnerin, die die Zahlung entgegennahm, sowohl freundlich als auch liebevoll. Das nächste Mal werde ich ihr Essen probieren. Ich schreibe in die Kommentare."

"Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend ohne Reservierung dort und bekamen problemlos einen Tisch. Eine Begrüßung vom zuständigen Kellner kam allerdings erst deutlich später und auch die Aufnahme der Bestellung ließ nochmals so lang auf sich warten, obwohl der Kellner des Öfteren an unserem Tisch vorbei kam. Auf ein erstes Getränk warteten wir somit 1 Stunde und dann war es auch die falsche Größe und wurde am Ende auch trotzdem falsch abgerechnet. Nachdem die Essensbestellung aufgenommen wurde, kam der Hinweis "wir haben ein volles Haus, das Essen dauert." Ich nehme an, die Möglichkeit da noch abzulehnen, gab es nicht ;-), sprich man hätte dies auch deutlich früher anmerken können. Wir waren froh, dass er es überhaupt sagte, und hatten es auch nicht eilig.Das Essen an sich schmeckte uns sehr gut, wobei man da sagen muss, dass man ruhig nach den Zubereitungswünschen des Steaks hätte fragen können. Wir hatten die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte und dann Rindersteak und Tortillas zum Selber füllen mit Lamm. Das Lamm hatte ich schon einmal und meine, dass die Fleischmenge damals üppiger war. Diesmal waren es doch recht kleine und wenig Stückchen.Alles in allem war der Service unseres Kellner sehr unorganisiert, das Essen jedoch hat es ein bisschen wieder rausgerissen."

"Ich hatte im Erbenhof mit meiner Begleitung einen Tisch zum Abendessen reserviert. Bereits bei der Bestellung der Gerichte zeichnete sich ab, dass entgegen der positiven Bewertungen auf TripAdvisor, der Abend sich nicht so gestalten wird wie erhofft. Neben einer Auswahl an à la carte Gerichten wird ein 3 Gang-Menü ohne näher Spezifikation auf der Karte angeboten. Die Dame des Restaurantteam gefragt, was sich dahinter verbirgt, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass man im Rahmen des 3-Gang Menüs jegliches Gericht von der Karte wählen dürfe. So begannen wir zu bestellen und erhielten per Zufall den Hinweis, dass es bei der Wahl des Steakgerichts einer Aufzahlung von 10 EUR bedarf. Dies war weder auf der Karte ausgezeichnet, noch wurden wir vorab darauf hingewiesen. Wir bestellten schließlich den sommerlichen Salat mit gebratenem Ziegenkäse, ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat, einen Wolfsbarsch mit Süßkartoffelpürree und eine Crème Brûlée. Der sommerliche Salat bestand aus ein paar grünen Blättern Salat mit Beeren, wobei bei meiner Begleitung diese komplett fehlten, einem Stück Brot belegt mit Gurke, Paprika und dem gegrillten Ziegenkäse, der sich als Ziegenkäse aus dem Backrohr entpuppte. Das gemäß Karte dazu gereichte selbstgemachte Brot erreichte unseren Tisch leider nicht. Die Portion Wiener Schnitzel bestand aus einem Stück Schnitzel, das weniger als 125g aufwies. Es sei darauf hingewiesen, dass den Gästen an den anderen Tischen Portionen mit jeweils zwei Stücks serviert wurden. Das Schnitzel war weder dünn geklopft, noch die Panade richtig souffliert. Der Wolfsbarsch erwies sich als 3 kleine, gezupfte Stücke Fisch mit einem lasch abgeschmeckten Süßkartofellpürree nebst winterlichen Rahmgemüse. Die sogenannte Crème Brûlée zum Nachtisch entpuppte sich als wackelige mit Gelatine geformte, geschmacklose und gestürzte Masse mit einer leichten Zuckerkruste, dazu wurden winterliche, eingelegte Kirsche serviert. Am Ende bezahlten wir 120 EUR für ein Speisenangebot dass im Hinblick auf Anrichteweise und Geschmack dem einer besseren Kantine gleicht. Zudem haben wir uns darüber geärgert, dass 3-Gänge Menü gewählt zu haben, da der Preisunterschied von 3 EUR zur à la Carte Bestellung deutlich kleinere Portionen bedeutet. Das gleicht am Ende einer Abzocke und macht nicht wirklich Sinn. Da kann man die Auswahl auf der Karte gleich bei den à la Carte Gerichten belassen. Zudem schwirrten zur Abendstunde derart viele Wespen rund um die Tische, dass ein ruhiges Speisen leider nicht möglich war. Das Servicepersonal ist wenig aufmerksam und verhält sich teilweise unverschämt gegenüber den Gästen. In meinem Fall fragte mich ein junger Kellner ob ich Hirnfrost hätte, da er gesehen hätte, dass ich mir auf den Kopf gegriffen habe. Alles in allem ein nicht gelungener Abend mit überteuertem Essen, schlechten Service und ungemütlichen Ambiente. Ich kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen."

"We went to this restaurant on a recommendation, we only tried the lunch menu. We thought the place lacked ambience but, this could have been because we were there at the end of the lunch period. The lunch we chose was one of the bento...boxes, we were a party of 8 and although we chose different no's , we were all served the same miso soup and we had to look closely to see the difference between boxes. Still the sushi, was fresh and well presented, I would try this place again and hope for a livelier atmosphere,"

"Unter belgischen Pommes frites versteht man eigentlich nicht, dass man Kartoffeln aus Belgien in ein Kartoffelland importiert und dann in Fritierfett umbringt, es handelt sich vielmehr um den speziellen zweistufigen Fritiervorgang, bei exakten Temperaturen und zwar in RINDERFETT, aber dies findet hier eben nicht statt ... Da das Personal ebenso aus der "Studentenschaft" der Uni kommt wie die "Start-up-Idee" eine Berliner Currywurst mit eben belgischen Kartoffeln und zugegebenermassen leckeren hausverfeinerten Mayonaisen mit Bionade als Menü zu verkaufen, kann man nicht wirklich erwarten das die Qualität von Wurst zu Wurst gleich bleibt. Das man aber Goldpapier zum mitfressen auf seine Currywurst bekommen kann, das sagt einem dann ja den Rest, oder?"

"slightly inconspicuous next to the Residenzcafé, the acc has a gallery, apartments and a small caffeine on the ground floor. there is an equally durable main card, a weekly card that changes every third day and daily dishes, mostly for 5,50 euros, but there are also others. Finally, I had a Maron cream soup with bacon, which was incredibly tasty and was offered in two different sizes (potato / cellar), a mint tea of fresh leaves (for 2 euros you also get a large glass) and fresh homemade carrot cake. the dishes are mainly made from organic products. Of course, it is also partly very low in price, but nevertheless the caffeine is very well visited, especially by students. It should be noted that the kitchen is not open all the way (only until 2:00 am I think) and then no hot dives are available. for many visitors it can also remain open for longer."

"“If the planned private weimar flight works with my man next year, I want to lead people here.” ... so I completed my order from november 2017 and now I join again! juli 2018 – my man liked the anno 1900 and the menu very well and wanted to eat here in the evening. we had personally reserved ourselves in the more than 110 years old gastronomy company on the afternoon. . the origin of the building, built as a winter garden, is still very visible, or after well thought-out refurbishment measures (see details about this side [here link] . a short and violent weather sweeper overcome in the early evening. so we found our reserved wooden table in the cozy rustic restaurant in the hotel anna amalia. restaurant, terrace, wc – all flattered. at the entrance it is necessary to overcome a stage. we were kindly greeted by a young lady. at the beginning of our obligatory bottle mineral water, the same 0.75 l – € 5,00. and as aperitif 2 glasses well cooled rieslingsekt, villa gutenberg, extra dry € 5,00. shortly after our drinks served fresh baguette with two airy mousse and pesto as a kitchen bag. a fine bridging of the waiting period. we both ordered the edesheimer blanc de noir q. b. a. from weingut diehl, dry, 0.2 € 6.50 as an appetizer we chose both the carpaccio from domestic-marinated thunfischfilet with orange limette fillets, rucola, parmesan zitronen olivenöl vinaigrette € 11.00 a appetizer that both enthused us! as the main course for my man: roasted zanderfilet on kartoffel fenchel ragout with orange fillets, roasted walnuts jus from tasmanian mountain pepper € 20,00 I chose the pasta dish, at the beginning discovered on the sloptic: ricotta fagotti with roasted pfifferlings, roasted walnuts, here we were both very satisfied. the kitchen cannot yet cover the balsami. at least the great appetizer was saved. the tender, juicy to the point fried. the supplements well tuned and costed. fried zanderfilet on kartoffel fenchel ragout with orangenfilets my pastasäckchen, certainly not homemade, but good. the smaller the proportion should not be, some pfifferlings should have been more. ricotta fagotti with fried pfifferlingen tasted it well, but I was clearly too much oil on this food. the collaboration in the service was very friendly and attentive. waiting times in full restaurant absolutely in order. empty plates were cleaned immediately. we were very friendly accepted and can recommend the restaurant very much!"

"we had a good meal here. the goatsestarter was rustic but wonderful. both the galettes we have ordered as well as the tarte were plentiful, and very good – too much for us, actually; the waitress would have warned us that we ordered too much food. but. the waitress never seemed to have eaten in a restaurant itself. they did not know that wee should cost one of the diners before they were poured and they did not know that it is not acceptable to answer a question whether a certain wee is dry or not by saying: "I really don't know." service aside, the meal was informative but quite good."

"The restaurant is an old traditional dining room with its original wooden booths with glass surrounds and high backed banquettes, and is obviously popular with the locals. We started off badly when we asked for tap water with the meal and were told that they...didn't serve tap water because 'people don't like the taste'. Most restaurants in Europe and the US have got over that little scam and happily serve tap water if you ask for it, and it is for us to decide if we like the taste or not. Our bill for bottled water alone came to be warned! The food was good modern European cooking, but the service cheerfully chaotic. We got another table's drinks and then later their soup course as well. The first few dishes were dumped on the table unexplained until we asked what they were, but things then settled down and went well after that. We chose the set menu with matched wines. A first course of sweetbreads with young wheat ears, a savoury sorbet, excellent fish and then pudding.The wines were mostly well chosen and interesting but the schooner of amontllado sherry with the delicate pudding of apple soup with condensed milk ice cream and shavings of lettuce stalk was disasterously overpowering and just plain wrong. The courses arrived at a pleasingly slow pace but each small glass of wine arrived about minutes before each course so we had to really discipline ourselves not to finish the wine before the food arrived. The total amount of wine was not very generous and although it was enough for the women in the party, most of the men found it rather mean and commented that we would have done better to spend the per head charged for the wine on a couple of bottles off the wine carte. All in all we enjoyed the food but they are going to have to work very hard at their frontofhouse presentation before they are considered for their Michelin star"
