"The ambience outside is very beautiful. Personally, is it something too Indian? (To Neon) Since we sat outside, everything was great and perfect! The service, accommodating! The food so delicious and freshly grilled And apart from that also mega abundant!!! There was finally a dessert and possibility to choose between alcoholic bag or an espresso. Both at the expense of the house. If we are in Weimar the next time, we will definitely come back"

"Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend ohne Reservierung dort und bekamen problemlos einen Tisch. Eine Begrüßung vom zuständigen Kellner kam allerdings erst deutlich später und auch die Aufnahme der Bestellung ließ nochmals so lang auf sich warten, obwohl der Kellner des Öfteren an unserem Tisch vorbei kam. Auf ein erstes Getränk warteten wir somit 1 Stunde und dann war es auch die falsche Größe und wurde am Ende auch trotzdem falsch abgerechnet. Nachdem die Essensbestellung aufgenommen wurde, kam der Hinweis "wir haben ein volles Haus, das Essen dauert." Ich nehme an, die Möglichkeit da noch abzulehnen, gab es nicht ;-), sprich man hätte dies auch deutlich früher anmerken können. Wir waren froh, dass er es überhaupt sagte, und hatten es auch nicht eilig.Das Essen an sich schmeckte uns sehr gut, wobei man da sagen muss, dass man ruhig nach den Zubereitungswünschen des Steaks hätte fragen können. Wir hatten die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte und dann Rindersteak und Tortillas zum Selber füllen mit Lamm. Das Lamm hatte ich schon einmal und meine, dass die Fleischmenge damals üppiger war. Diesmal waren es doch recht kleine und wenig Stückchen.Alles in allem war der Service unseres Kellner sehr unorganisiert, das Essen jedoch hat es ein bisschen wieder rausgerissen."

"We went to this restaurant on a recommendation, we only tried the lunch menu. We thought the place lacked ambience but, this could have been because we were there at the end of the lunch period. The lunch we chose was one of the bento...boxes, we were a party of 8 and although we chose different no's , we were all served the same miso soup and we had to look closely to see the difference between boxes. Still the sushi, was fresh and well presented, I would try this place again and hope for a livelier atmosphere,"

"While walking on Wiemar streets and searching somewhere to eat, saw this place randomly. Never checked its reputation or anything. Because just wanted to eat sth and continue tour on Wiemar. However it was delicious, juicy burgers, amazing fries and hand made ketchup and mayo. It is very above expectations. Little comments on soft drinks, they are a bit expensive. Such as Fritz was 3.5, most of similar business sell around 2-2.5. But tasty burger definetely deserve its price. If visit Wiemar once again, I know where to eat. Highly recommanded."

"La Tarte is one of our favourite restaurants in Weimar. We eat there at least once per week. We spend 100's of Euro here every month. Last night was a big dissapointment however. I saw the Menü du Moment earlier this week and told my...husband we have to go and try the new dishes. I ordered the Cremige Erbsensuppe mit Schmorsalat und karamalisierter Jakobsmuschel. The soup was lovely but arrived without the Jakobsmuschel. We ordered the Surf Turf for main course. It should be Rinderfillet mit flambierten Risengarnelen, Blumenkohlröschen, Pommes allumettes und Sauce Béarnaise. This time our food arrived without the Blumenkohlröschen. The meat was lovely. We pointed the shortcomings out to the waitress and she said that she got no reaction from the kitchen regarding this. That is very dissapointing. Making a mistake is one thing, but having no interest in correcting the mistake is really not good. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant was busy and she was serving all on her own, so we didn't get to order our usual dessert and/or cheese platter either. We bring out of town guests, have recommended La Tarte to family and friends who also go there on our recommendation, so it is a real let down to see that our patronage is not appreciated."

"36 Pho Co had delicious food. I enjoyed the pho and my friend got a good looking vegan dish. The service is slow and it is hard to get in to the restaurant. The second time we went, we spoke to someone and they asked us to wait for a table. We then waited 20 minutes just to be told there was no more table that they could give us. The food was good but perhaps make a reservation or go somewhere else if you’re in a hurry."

Delicious rustic lunch, nice service, everything went quite greedy, drinks and after about 15 what the food on the table, we could sit outside to eat, sweater was on our side. "Die Küche ist recht anspruchsvoll und die Köche geben sich hier ihrer Leidenschaft fürs Kochen hin. Der Chef ist ein ausgesprochener Gastgeber und weiß was es heißt einen schönen Aufenthalt zu garantieren. Die Karte bietet keine große Vielfalt, dafür aber geschmackliche Erlebnisse und tolle Qualität. Dieses Restaurant eignet sich für jede Jahreszeit und jeden Anlass - wobei gilt, je festlicher, desto treffender. Ob im Wintergarten an langen Februarabenden, oder auf der Terrasse in langen Sommernächten, das Anno zählt zu meinen Lieblingsrestaurants, obwohl der Preis für hiesige Verhältnisse recht hoch ist."

"Authentic and delicious! According to friends familiar with Korean cuisine, a very authentic place! The food is the hammer and the tea is super aromatic. "we had a good meal here. the goatsestarter was rustic but wonderful. both the galettes we have ordered as well as the tarte were plentiful, and very good – too much for us, actually; the waitress would have warned us that we ordered too much food. but. the waitress never seemed to have eaten in a restaurant itself. they did not know that wee should cost one of the diners before they were poured and they did not know that it is not acceptable to answer a question whether a certain wee is dry or not by saying: "I really don't know." service aside, the meal was informative but quite good."

"Today, during our honeymoon in Weimar, we had an evening that we will never forget. We enjoyed a 4-course menu with wine selection that the service staff met for us. The food was fantastic and the wine was 100% suitable. In the end we received a surprise from the head of the patisserie personally handed over and as a coronation, if you think that the evening could not be better, they gave us a bottle of Secco from the region for the wedding. Thank you. For those who gave us the night. At the latest on the first wedding day. This memory remains forever."

"Onze eerste restaurantervaring in het centrum van Weimar. Afgegaan op eerdere recensies en niet teleurgesteld. Vakantiemaandagavond, plekje op redelijk vol terras, traditionele schnitzel en varkenslever met gebakken uien gegeten. Goed klaargemaakt, smakelijk opgediend, ruime porties en gewoon lekker. Wellicht gaan we één dezer dagen nog eens terug, want er stonden gerechten op de kaart die we best nog eens uit willen proberen (kipcurry met boekweit, maar ook varkensmedaillons omwikkeld met spek en met zelfgemaakte rösti. Je kunt kiezen uit typische Thüringer gerechten (met de aardappelballen) of iets totaal anders. Vaste menukaart en afwisselende weekkaart. Aardige bediening."

"the service was very attentive and has corrected a false beverage delivery itself. the food was also very good. I personally felt the waiting time for the main dish as much too long and also saw that other guests (with children) have a problem with it and talked with the service. I would have wished that a delay will be communicated to us (can happen once.) then I could even have enjoyed this evening in the restaurant. I guess someone was missing in the kitchen."

"the pizzas are simply delicious – as if you were back in italy. in winter it is easier to get a seat and in summer you can even sit outside. the pizzeria is small and very popular. That's why it's very crowded there and you don't often find a place – but it just tastes too good there! just call, order your pizza and go away and pick it up. "Wir waren mit einer Schulgruppe von rund 40 Personen bei dieser Lokalität. Eine Begrüßung oder Tischanweisung fand nicht statt. Als wir saßen ging die Bedienung zuerst zu einigen Tischen und erst nach ca 15min zu unserem. Das Essen war nach nicht einmal 3min an unserem Tisch. Es war jedoch meiner Meinung nach nur aufgewärmt oder zumindest nicht richtig heiß.Der Nudelauflauf hat nach nichts geschmeckt und war erst nach sehr starkem Salzen essbar.Die Portionen waren sehr klein und nicht satt machend.Wir haben pauschal 12€ für ein Essen & ein Getränk bezahlt.Nach dem Essen wurde angesprochen, dass dieser Preis zu hoch sei für die Portionen. Unsere Kritik wurde sehr unprofessionell entgegengenommen.Als wir alle bezahlt hatten und unser Lehrer den Gastwirt noch auf den Geschmack des Essens ansprach hat dieser in einer kaum zu übertreffenden Respektlosigkeit reagiert und hat ihn angepöbelt und hat versucht sich mit seiner Mehrsprachigkeit zu profilieren.Alles in allem kann man also sagen:-Personal unfreundlich und nicht kritikfähig -Essen preisleistungstechnisch unter aller Sau -Gastwirt ein ProletAlso kann man sagen das einzig gute war mein alkoholfreies Radler, wobei man dabei auch herzlich wenig falsch machen kann."

"Das schlimmste an diesem Lokal ist die Bedienung: das Servicepersonal spricht sehr schlecht Deutsch und ist in einem Maße unfreundlich, dass es einem schlecht davon werden kann. Es hat mir den ganzen Nachmittag versaut, auch weil ich praktisch genauso hungrig wieder gehen musste, wie ich gekommen war, denn das Essen war ein Alptraum.Ich kam an einem Sonntag und war außer einem Pärchen, das an einem anderen Tisch gerade mit dem Essen fertig war, der einzige Gast. Ich habe eine vegetarische Sushi-Auswahl bestellt und wollte höflich nachfragen, ob man ein Nigiri tauschen könnte, doch der Kellner schnitt mir mit seinen mehr als bescheidenen sprachlichen Fähigkeiten barsch das Wort ab, noch bevor ich den Satz halb angefangen hatte. Insgesamt sind Ausdrücke wie "Bitte", "Danke" oder "Entschuldigung" in diesem Haus vollkommen unbekannte Fremdwörter.Das Essen kam sehr schnell: eine verkochte, ausgeflockte und versalzene Misosuppe und winzig gerolltes Sushi aus vertrocknetem Reis, das nach Fisch roch und schmeckte (vermutlich auf einer ungereinigten Arbeitsfläche zubereitet oder lange neben Sushi mit Fisch ohne Abdeckung gelagert), ich habe nur ein paar Stück probiert und mehr als die Hälfte stehen gelassen. Der eigentlich schon fast zu günstige Preis hatte mich vorher schon misstrauisch gemacht, ich hätte es besser wissen müssen...Der Höhepunkt war die Zahlung, zu der ich an den Tresen kommen musste. Der Herr wollte sich selbst ein Trinkgeld aufrunden, ich war aber derart abgestoßen von seinem respektlosen Verhalten, dass es mir im Traum nicht eingefallen wäre auch nur 10 ct mehr dazulassen, so musste ich ihn erst noch dazu auffordern, mir mein Restgeld auszuzahlen. Ungefragt Trinkgeld abkassieren wollen mag ja schon dreist sein, aber der Höhepunkt war die geöffnete Küchentüre durch die ich vom Tresen aus dem demonstrativ gelangweilten Koch in seinem heillosen Chaos beim Rauchen zusehen konnte, einfach ekelhaft!"

"This is a good restaurant to go to if your very hungry! The portion size is HUGE! But quality of the burgers is on a par with the size. It is like walking in to a very fake American restaurant at the start but when you go in and see the size of it and have spent 5 mins at your seat everything starts to look a bit better as is soaks in. The service is good, English Menu's, good beers, good burgers, but it is rather pricey and thats what stops me going again, at the end of the day it is just a beer and a burger and I grudge paying so much for that (im Scottish....)"

"Someone must have had a sense of humour when they named a restaurant in Weimar Shakespeares , considering the town is the home of two of Germany 's greatest writers? Perhaps this happened in 1966 when England were victorious over (West) Germany in the final of the World Cup? I think we should be told . . . Anyway, the food and drink that my friend and I received here was fine, with the final bill for several beers each and two mains running in at around thirty euros. Service was attentive and efficient. Would use this place again if visiting the town."

"The restaurant setting is nice, not too fancy but practical. I had chicken with mushrooms, vegetables and potatoes. The taste was good but there was WAY too much oil and cream sauce, the food was swimming in it. Perhaps the authentic Italian dishes are better, but I haven’t had a chance to try any. The portion was big, but I think it’s still a bit overpriced for Weimar and for what it is. The servers were accommodating and nice. FYI I was told they don’t accept cards, so cash only."
