"The best Italian food in town! I absolutely love the food, but even more, I adore the people here. The bartender, Marcella, makes the best espresso martini around. She has a fantastic ability to recommend the perfect drinks and delicious dishes for a world traveler like me! I know I will miss this place and can't wait to return. Thank you, Marcella! This restaurant deserves a perfect 10! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"The restaurant serves delicious and straightforward food, although the selection of fish could be improved. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a convenient stop on the way to or from the cinema."

"we met friends last night who had traveled all the way from bournemouth to visit and have a delightful night. Thankfully our group was a good company, our experience was far from it. we ran a little late, so when we arrived, we were shocked to find our friends who had waited for more minutes from the order for drinks! when we ordered ours, it wasn't faster. then we added our choice to order and expected our meal. I admit we would have heard that the service was shocked, but the quality of the foods that were created for him had been told. oh young, how wrong was that? When the meal finally came, they were shocking. the pizzas were in order, but everything else. yes, my friend ordered the bolognese, but asked rigatoni to replace the spaghetti. he had said it was okay, but at the arrival it was strozzapeti. we asked for spicy and parmesan and waited and waited. Finally we were brought salt, but my friend had to leave the table and get the pfeffer himself. when the parmesan arrived, it was in the form of the manager who leaned over us to grate it on stone cold meal times. a reef short nativity was ordered that was unusable. I had not recognized by short, it meant that the amount of meat was short in the amount. what was there was burned and dried up to the consistency of jerky. see attached photo. my lasagne arrived minutes after any other meal, after remembrance it lacked sauce bubbling away and the lower layer burned on the basis of the plate. I admit that it was on the house, but serving another food is not acceptable. the desserts came. the tiramasu was dry, sat on the chocolate sauce that glued it to the plate. the chocolate melt didn't do better. it would be better than chocolate splodge. the service was worse than we said. the meal went over the top of our heads to be handed over to the other side of the table, the manager tried to delete the table, although a friend still eat. continuous doing and eye-rolling when the problems were shown. the damentoiletten had not loo roll, the hand dryer from order and no ersatz towel. obviously not safe for customers! Yes, we got discounted, but this evaluation is to warn others about our experience and, probably pointless, hope that the management read it this and invest in training and time to solve these problems. I guess stratford is a lively environment, my son has worked both as a cook and management in the hospitality in the city for almost years, so I understand the stress of the city."

"We were having a short break in Exmouth and were so impressed with the food on the first night that we booked for the next night as well. The restaurant from the outside looks small and cosy, but don’t be put off if the tables...look full as there as other room, equally as cosy, deeper in the premises The menu is interesting with a good selection of dishes and I found it difficult to choose a dish, simply because there were several that took my fancy. My wife had Chicken Souvlaki which, unlike a lot of chicken dishes was not dry and very tasty. My Lamb Kleftico was well cooked so that it fell off of the bone and was delicately spiced with a rich sauce. It was juicy and tender melted in the mouth. The second night my partner had carrot and cheese souflee served with a rich tomato sauce, Mediterranean vegetables boulangere potatoes. This I am told was lovely with a great flavour. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, so often these are overdone but these had just the right amount of crunch left in them. Myself I had Moroccan Lamb Tagine. Having eaten this in Marrakesh I was a little dubious but I need not have worried. It was not as rustic as that served in Morocco, much more refined, but just as tasty and cooked to perfection. For dessert we shared a Summer Berry Bread Butter Pudding with mixed berries. It had a good contrast on sweet and slightly sharp berries that complimented each other. The service was good, efficient, and friendly. Where there was a question , the owner was always happy to answer and obviously took a great pride, and rightly so of her restaurant. If you get a chance this is a must try restaurant and I have no trouble recommending it."
"A few big steps to access but was worth the struggle I had to get in. Would probably do a take out next time as access was an issue but the food and service was so so good"

"A small group of us met here for Sat lunch, first time we've visited in a few years. A warm welcome by the young guy working out front on his own. One of our group ordered sausage mash, only to be told there was...no mash! What! Also notified there were no peas either and that broccoli was the substitute! What, no peas! Obviously can't be bothered to just nip to the local supermarket! Another of our group ordered fish chips with mushy peas, fine, no problem, except there was no tartare sauce! With the two grills that were ordered tomato was substituted for the peas, but cold tomatoes? Really?! Expected grilled, surely! The broccoli and carrots served with other meals had obviously been frozen for ages, they just turned to mush. The grilled chicken and gammon were both overcooked and dry. All in all, pretty awful. We would normally have a dessert but declined as didn't want any further disappointment. Service good, but food woeful. I know many establishments are struggling for staff but it's no excuse not to have simple things like mash, peas and tartare sauce available, you're going to struggle if you can't get the basics right and also cook simple food to a decent standard."

"We met friends for lunch and found that the portion sizes for the children were perfect and they finished their meals. We all enjoyed a variety of appetizers and main courses, and the experience was pleasant. The restaurant was bustling but the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was clean with nice decor."

"Frankie and Benny’s place was an amazing dining experience ! As soon as we entered we were greeted with very kind staff who swiftly lead us to our table. The food was OUTSTANDING!For starters, the food came extraordinarily quick, and tasted fabulous. I ordered the ABC Burger from the menu and it was very well presented. The burger was succulent and it was served nicely and warmly. We also tried some of the shrimp and chicken Alfredo and the sauce was superb, the shrimp was really juicy and the pasta tasted excellent. The drinks came with ice, making for a tasty refresher that came along with the amazing food. Lilly, is an excellent staff, she was kind and punctually present during our dinner and made the experience better than it already was. I have no bad things to say about this place. I would highly recommend it to anyone who comes to the designer outlet, the variety here is superb. We are looking forward to visit here again soon"

"I also tried the Chicken Amigo burger, and honestly, it was the best and freshest chicken burger I've ever had. The chicken breast was huge, almost the size of my hand, and so succulent that I was truly impressed. The special sauce complemented the burger perfectly! We also ordered some chili cheeseries, but they could have used more chopped meat and could have benefited from a sprinkle of parmesan on top instead of just standard mozzarella. For drinks, we had a piña colada, which was very nice—not overly sweet, just perfect. Our total bill was £59 for everything. I will definitely return regularly! It has a great family-friendly atmosphere and is beautifully designed inside."

"the family all five of us to this tiny restaurant on rosemount place last night and enjoyed it. we were greeted by the Italian owner and I felt guilty when he asked a few who had finished their meal when they were ready to go to sit. the owner who in his authentic accent corrected our bad try in Italian during the order was friendly and took our ancestors order first. garlic bread, bruschetta, melone with Italian ham, and caprese salat were all good, the girls especially loved the garlic bread. the wine of the glass he told us was san genovese and was like the name of the restaurant tells them the main course is pasta he had many specials in addition to the regular menu items. we had a plate of penne pasta with another. the marinara had snuggles and garnel, my rustica had aubergins and sardelles, the alfredo of my wife was cream with a crisp, and the girls had simple pastas with fresh Italian sausage. the owner sohn, was the cook and he made a nice job in his closet kitchen that we could see from our table. the desserts were also good, zitronecello, cannelloni and a chocolate ice cream with hazelnuts that was excellent. give this little restaurant a try if they are looking for a nice dish pasta in a friendly but small place."

"Forgot to review, I was recommended this and went with my godmother and family. Terrible. Where are the Italian chefs? Anyone going there, keep in mind I saw a Chinese chef and one looked like he had 5 seconds of experience, when they went outside. I don't know how much people were paid for these good reviews, 3 star hygiene, petrol station quality food, just like the building. They somehow managed to go wrong with a lasagna and the pizza looked like someone threw up basel on it, it screams microwave. That's about a tenth of the bad bits."

"After reading the many positive reviews, I was excited for my first dining experience in London. The restaurant had a cool vibe, with rough wooden tables carefully spaced out."

"Booked meal as part of a birthday experience staying in the hotel. The chicken liver parfait was incredible. Unfortunately the main event which was beef rump was not good and the leeks were stringy, on speaking to the manager she arranged to replace both meals straight away and was very apologetic. The replacement venison meal was absolutely delicious, though very rich , it was served with an extra venison sausage and mash on the side. On leaving we were told that the main courses had been taken off the bill which we weren't expecting. The Woodman obviously has an excellent reputation you can see that by the reviews, I would like to commend the manager for the way she handled our complaint, and thank her for the way she dealt with it. We Would still come back and eat there again if we are ever in Stratford in the future."

"Finding a good bbq pork ribs can be a challenge in Dubai. As such, while in London, I asked one of my friends to join me for dinner here for my pork ribs fix. I've been to this place a number of times before and this is something familiar and reliable. This is your typical chain restaurant with consistent diner-themed interior from one outlet to another. I like this particular branch more than the others because of its location, a stone-throw away from Picadilly Circus. This makes this outlet among the busiest ones. This visit was no different. The place was buzzing but not full so we managed to quickly get a table. Service here was as good as my previous visits. The place was manned by friendly staffs. They were quick in getting our orders and the kitchen was efficient in churning out dishes. Our food was served fast that we barely noticed the waiting time. I had pork ribs (as expected) while my friend opted for a steak. We actually agreed to order different dishes and share so we could try both. The steak was beautifully cooked, especially with those grill marks. It was soft and juicy. It had a creamy-salty taste to it which I liked. The bbq ribs was super delicious. I haven't had one in a while hence the exaggerated reaction. It was truly good. The meat was tender and easy to separate from the bone. It was moist and flavourful. I loved the sweet bbq taste. I liked that the flavour was not just on the outside but was able to penetrate the meat. With this visit, one of my cravings had been satisfied. As mentioned above, Angus Steakhouse is one reliable place."

"After visiting once before, we decided to dine at this restaurant again, feeling confident that it would be the perfect choice for today - offering tasty, healthy options in a lovely setting. I opted for the Swiss tart, which was filled with cheese and onions and came with a Swiss salad. I was delighted to see the variety of salad items on my plate, all expertly prepared and a joy to eat. Dining outside in the sun made the experience even more enjoyable. My husband, who had been recovering from a hospital stay and had a delicate stomach, was able to enjoy his first proper meal in two weeks. He ordered the Spanish tapas trio, which included prawns, chicken, and tortilla, and found it very satisfying. The portions were generous and filled with a variety of ingredients. For dessert, we indulged in bread and butter pudding and plum tart, both of which were excellent. The service was efficient and friendly, making our meal even more enjoyable. This restaurant would be a great choice for vegetarians as well. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!"

"Food good when they eventually sort out the correct order. Ordered white wine, came with red not a good start. When we turned up advised no Sunday left, which we did come for, fair enough under circumstances but would not have come if we knew this prior. Starters ok and tasty, main course came not as per the menu, salmon not as mentioned, menus stated white wine and garlic sauce, turned up covered in tomato, not the best for someone who can’t stand taste of tomato. This was rectified although parent finished his by time it was received but not the point, if comes with tomato state this one on the menu. Desert nice but service, well where do we start only 3 tables with people on trying to obtain the bill so we can leave, can not get any service, please what would it be like when it is busy. Under the current circumstances it really is not good especially when they are talking right beside you, 3 staff only 1 working, very disappointing, will take a lot to come back her, sport to say"

"We had dinner in Antica this evening and the food was lovely. The restaurant itself is very intimate in size and atmosphere. The staff are attentive and we felt at ease. I had the Pollo Cacciatore and my fiance had Ravioli Melanzane e scamorza. We had the Antipasto Italiano to share as a starter too which was a great way to start the meal. The portion sizes are generous which is always great! Recommended."
