Creamy fettuccine pasta tossed in a rich Alfredo sauce, often served with Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of parsley.

"was back in helensburgh for the day to see my mother and dad. we decided to have a nice day and enjoyed the suns we would go for a meal in the new restaurant. when we were a party of 3, I couldn't book a table, so it was about the house, but it wasn't a problem at all, as we sat with menus within minutes after arrival. overall it was very nice. long the drunken memories of the river bank and instead an authentic, lively and very classic Italian bistro restaurant. it was beautifully designed, restored to the original features of the building. I also loved the big wood stove on the full view to see her pizza cook. the staff was friendly and very friendly, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the food was fresh and very tasty. the menu is small and perfectly shaped and there was nothing that I would not like to eat, at the end enjoyed my parents 2 of the Risotto dishes and I had pizza, all were freshly cooked to order that was made for an excellent meal and the gelato for pudding was beautiful. my father was also very pleased to see one of his favorite Italian red wines on the menu (he is a massive weinbuff) and used as I was the named driver. great end on a sunny day and would really recommend. x"

"The best Italian food in town! I absolutely love the food, but even more, I adore the people here. The bartender, Marcella, makes the best espresso martini around. She has a fantastic ability to recommend the perfect drinks and delicious dishes for a world traveler like me! I know I will miss this place and can't wait to return. Thank you, Marcella! This restaurant deserves a perfect 10! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"The restaurant serves delicious and straightforward food, although the selection of fish could be improved. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a convenient stop on the way to or from the cinema."

"We had a group booking for our drama group 19 people....unfortunately 3 had to drop out due to illness but a call to The Huntsman sorted it all out and the 3 were cancelled with no fuss. Our table was ready with crackers and little wooden 'scatters ' (not the usual shiny plastic! . Starters, mains and desserts all arrived quickly and hot food was really hot nothing 'luke warm '. All meals were enjoyed and I heard no complaints about quality or quantity. (We had the festive menu which is not listed in the food to recommend in this review! Staff were all friendly, pub looked festive and we all had a great evening. Many thanks! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Treacle Sticky Toffee Pudding"

"we met friends last night who had traveled all the way from bournemouth to visit and have a delightful night. Thankfully our group was a good company, our experience was far from it. we ran a little late, so when we arrived, we were shocked to find our friends who had waited for more minutes from the order for drinks! when we ordered ours, it wasn't faster. then we added our choice to order and expected our meal. I admit we would have heard that the service was shocked, but the quality of the foods that were created for him had been told. oh young, how wrong was that? When the meal finally came, they were shocking. the pizzas were in order, but everything else. yes, my friend ordered the bolognese, but asked rigatoni to replace the spaghetti. he had said it was okay, but at the arrival it was strozzapeti. we asked for spicy and parmesan and waited and waited. Finally we were brought salt, but my friend had to leave the table and get the pfeffer himself. when the parmesan arrived, it was in the form of the manager who leaned over us to grate it on stone cold meal times. a reef short nativity was ordered that was unusable. I had not recognized by short, it meant that the amount of meat was short in the amount. what was there was burned and dried up to the consistency of jerky. see attached photo. my lasagne arrived minutes after any other meal, after remembrance it lacked sauce bubbling away and the lower layer burned on the basis of the plate. I admit that it was on the house, but serving another food is not acceptable. the desserts came. the tiramasu was dry, sat on the chocolate sauce that glued it to the plate. the chocolate melt didn't do better. it would be better than chocolate splodge. the service was worse than we said. the meal went over the top of our heads to be handed over to the other side of the table, the manager tried to delete the table, although a friend still eat. continuous doing and eye-rolling when the problems were shown. the damentoiletten had not loo roll, the hand dryer from order and no ersatz towel. obviously not safe for customers! Yes, we got discounted, but this evaluation is to warn others about our experience and, probably pointless, hope that the management read it this and invest in training and time to solve these problems. I guess stratford is a lively environment, my son has worked both as a cook and management in the hospitality in the city for almost years, so I understand the stress of the city."

"we came to whitehaven restaurant on Saturday, as family of four, and my older daughter, in the age of 12 is probably best described as food phobia. it has a very limited number of means of life that it will eat and everything that is unfamiliar is almost impossible for them to eat. with this very limited diet she loved margarita pizza, but fights with the tomato sauce when it is lumpy. She tries hard as she knows that her eating is disturbing for everyone, but she hasn't in the position, much progressed in the last 10 years since this beginning. at this opportunity she tried to eat the margarita pizza she had ordered, but it found difficult because the tomato sauce was a little too clumpy for her. we noticed and tried discreetly how she could wrap the meal when the waiter came by and so sensitively talked to us to find out if there was a problem. she wouldn't answer when she could say that my daughter was uncomfortable. when we explained the situation, she spoke directly with my daughter and asked her exactly how they like her pizza and they resurrected that she was perfect in her right to ask for the food as she wanted it. then she returned to the kitchen and a short time later she brought a pizza with much less tomato for my daughter. to live in ten years with this eating problem as a family, this is the first time that our situation has been treated with such sensibility and helpfulness. not only that, but eating was delicious! we are just sorry that we are only on vacation in the opposite direction, otherwise we would eat here all the time. this is undoubtedly the best service we have ever received anywhere in any restaurant."

"We were having a short break in Exmouth and were so impressed with the food on the first night that we booked for the next night as well. The restaurant from the outside looks small and cosy, but don’t be put off if the tables...look full as there as other room, equally as cosy, deeper in the premises The menu is interesting with a good selection of dishes and I found it difficult to choose a dish, simply because there were several that took my fancy. My wife had Chicken Souvlaki which, unlike a lot of chicken dishes was not dry and very tasty. My Lamb Kleftico was well cooked so that it fell off of the bone and was delicately spiced with a rich sauce. It was juicy and tender melted in the mouth. The second night my partner had carrot and cheese souflee served with a rich tomato sauce, Mediterranean vegetables boulangere potatoes. This I am told was lovely with a great flavour. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, so often these are overdone but these had just the right amount of crunch left in them. Myself I had Moroccan Lamb Tagine. Having eaten this in Marrakesh I was a little dubious but I need not have worried. It was not as rustic as that served in Morocco, much more refined, but just as tasty and cooked to perfection. For dessert we shared a Summer Berry Bread Butter Pudding with mixed berries. It had a good contrast on sweet and slightly sharp berries that complimented each other. The service was good, efficient, and friendly. Where there was a question , the owner was always happy to answer and obviously took a great pride, and rightly so of her restaurant. If you get a chance this is a must try restaurant and I have no trouble recommending it."

"In 11 years on this estate I’ve only had one breakfast here and I think it was buffet style then Aug 2015) but can’t be sure. My wife and I had a large breakfast and the kids had 3 X kids breakfasts £3.75). The large breakfasts really are quite huge, 4 sausages, 4 Hash browns, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 eggs, 1 piece of white toast wish they had choice of brown or seeded) and beans. My wife got less beans than the kids for some reason, so not consistent with the sizes, but overall a decent brekkie and the cappuccinos were lovely!! I’m so pleased they allow dogs now, it makes it much more viable to visit."

"Living in Calow for the last 6 years this pub has continued to disappoint, Landlords coming and going, inconsistent opening times and food being served/not being served. I'm not sure what made me and my wife go again, we know it's under new management again so thought we'd walk down have a pint and a bite to eat, both went for burgers , both reasonably priced and I have to say both very tasty, for nut much more than any fast food restaurant it was well worth the price, we'll definitely be returning. My only little gripe was you had to walk up to the top bar to order, so no table service, that accompanied by the fact the kitchen shuts at 7pm, we normally like to eat a bit later, but all in all, good value and good food."

"Trattoria Verdi is a little family run Italian Restaurant around the Russel Square area, and they serve dinner right until 12:30 pm and the food is amazing. It is served with love and that is what makes this place so special for us. On our first trip to London, when we often turned away from restaurants for being too late for a dinner order (sometimes as early as 7:30pm), Trattoria Verdi always welcomed our tired feet with open arms and fed us well. We now return here whenever we are in the area. Given that we have been here so often, we have tried almost everything on their menu, but out favourites are the mussels in garlic butter, the Pollo Farcito which is like chicken a la kiev but with mozarella cheese, the lasagna, the fresh fettucini preparations, the saltimbocca and the chicken cacciatora. The crowning glory to all their food is the fresh dessert trolley that is wheeled in at the end. Nothing on this trolley has ever disappointed us. The tiramisu if available is superlative. Take a look at the dessert trolley before you order anything else from the menu, you might just decide to have just wine and dessert. [hidden link]"

"I walked past this place countless times before I was tempted to step inside. I am so glad that I did. I had the spicy pizza which was as good as any from one of Richmond's pizzerias. The pasta dishes I've tried, arrabiata and carbonara were cooked to perfection. The veggie breakfast was excellent and the egg, sausage and bacon sandwich... my 3 favourite foods in a ciabbata... what's not to like? The decor is low key, the staff attentive and the food excellent. Go here when you just want a bite to eat and don't need the restaurant theatre that would be more suitable for a date night."

"The staff at this restaurant are incredibly rude and show no concern for customer service. The manager, in particular, was unbelievably rude. We waited 40 minutes for our food, and when we raised our complaints, the manager accused us of lying and shifted the blame to us, claiming she couldn't control the kitchen's speed. Despite others receiving their food, ours came out incorrect. There was no apology given. Overall, I am appalled by the poor service we received. The staff here could benefit greatly from some customer service training, and the manager's behavior was particularly terrible."

"Howdy Pudsey was recommended to me by a close friend as I was staying in the area as part of a short break with my family. In short the whole experience of eating at Howdy was nothing short of amazing. All the food ordered was on point and was enjoyed by everyone. The cowboy/western theme of the restaurant was loud and clear! The owners really have gone the extra mile in achieving the theme with the decor and props. Even the restaurant staff wear cowboy hats! I had the big John Wayne burger a 12oz celebration of beef burger joy! The beef patties were thick, juicy in the middle whilst having a crusty outer layer. Probably was one of the best burgers I've ever had! The children really liked the novelty of the restaurant theme (as did I). There is ample parking at the restaurant. A thing to note is that the restaurant is cash only. Don't worry if you don't have cash on you you will be able to withdraw cash for free at the cash machine located in the supermarket next door. I know that the Howdy restaurants are based up north in around in Yorkshire. If there was a Howdy in Leicester I think I would be visiting there often! If you haven't tried this restaurant I would highly recommend it just as it was recommended to me. Trust me you won't be disappointed!"

"Small, authentic family run restaurant/ business within the heart of Rosemount, Aberdeen. My partner and I visited one sunny evening in June 2024. I chose spinach ricotta tortellini and my partner, lobster ravioli. Both delicious were tasty and delicious. We finished off with coffees and browsed the wines and deli products for sale. Cute place. We will definitely be back."

"Visited Saturday 14th October at 1.30pm, restaurant very nice looking and in a great location. Very nice inside outside. Very fast friendly staff. Could not fault any staff member we came across. Staff went above beyond for my daughter. Staff very concerned and did all possible due to my daughter’s vast nut allergy. All food was lovely for all 3 off us and my wife loved the cocktails. Price off food drink is quite expensive but it’s London in a prime location. They do add the service charge to the bill which is the norm these days. They do not tell you thou. We will definitely return next time on a London visit. Evan the manger came to say goodbye to my daughter and made her feel special so thank you. Would recommend to all."

"Forgot to review, I was recommended this and went with my godmother and family. Terrible. Where are the Italian chefs? Anyone going there, keep in mind I saw a Chinese chef and one looked like he had 5 seconds of experience, when they went outside. I don't know how much people were paid for these good reviews, 3 star hygiene, petrol station quality food, just like the building. They somehow managed to go wrong with a lasagna and the pizza looked like someone threw up basel on it, it screams microwave. That's about a tenth of the bad bits."

"After reading the many positive reviews, I was excited for my first dining experience in London. The restaurant had a cool vibe, with rough wooden tables carefully spaced out."
