Creamy fettuccine pasta tossed in a rich Alfredo sauce, often served with Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of parsley.

"An excellent restaurant that made a perfect venue for our intimate wedding! Where to start, the staff were amazing, the venue was stunning and the food was out of this world. We used the library as a reception room, moving onto the feasting room for food and retiring to the sung to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening with our guests. The food was amazing, in true feasting quantities and had a great variety served in a family style of help yourselves from the delectable selections, catering to the dietary requirements of our wedding party. Every dish was super tasty, with a particular stand out being the market fish which was Sea Bream and was commented on as a stand out item by many guests. The suite we stayed in after at the attached hotel Indigo was really nice, clean and spacious, with the hotel allowing us early access to the room for my wife to get ready in. We would like to thank all the staff who helped to make our day so special will definitely be visiting again in the future. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible through the hotel entrance at the back or with assistance up a small step at the front entrance."

"Food good when they eventually sort out the correct order. Ordered white wine, came with red not a good start. When we turned up advised no Sunday left, which we did come for, fair enough under circumstances but would not have come if we knew this prior. Starters ok and tasty, main course came not as per the menu, salmon not as mentioned, menus stated white wine and garlic sauce, turned up covered in tomato, not the best for someone who can’t stand taste of tomato. This was rectified although parent finished his by time it was received but not the point, if comes with tomato state this one on the menu. Desert nice but service, well where do we start only 3 tables with people on trying to obtain the bill so we can leave, can not get any service, please what would it be like when it is busy. Under the current circumstances it really is not good especially when they are talking right beside you, 3 staff only 1 working, very disappointing, will take a lot to come back her, sport to say"

"After visiting once before, we decided to dine at this restaurant again, feeling confident that it would be the perfect choice for today - offering tasty, healthy options in a lovely setting. I opted for the Swiss tart, which was filled with cheese and onions and came with a Swiss salad. I was delighted to see the variety of salad items on my plate, all expertly prepared and a joy to eat. Dining outside in the sun made the experience even more enjoyable. My husband, who had been recovering from a hospital stay and had a delicate stomach, was able to enjoy his first proper meal in two weeks. He ordered the Spanish tapas trio, which included prawns, chicken, and tortilla, and found it very satisfying. The portions were generous and filled with a variety of ingredients. For dessert, we indulged in bread and butter pudding and plum tart, both of which were excellent. The service was efficient and friendly, making our meal even more enjoyable. This restaurant would be a great choice for vegetarians as well. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!"

"There were four adults and two children of which two adults had allergy problems (one vegan one gluton) and one child. The Inn was advised at the time of booking and on a busy Saturday everyone had a delicious meal and were more than satisfied with their meal and service. The person who was a vegan had three courses one of which was a creme brulee, the person with the glutton alergy had scampy. We are very grateful to the staff for a splendid lunch. One of the adults works in high end hospitality and in the past was a London chef and was full of praise for the staff and especially the kitchen"

"This is the first time I've ever refused to pay for a meal! I tried one of five tiny, plastic-tasting mushrooms and the yolk of an overcooked egg. The bacon was cold, and my partner confirmed that her waffles were also cold. The waiter even mentioned that the waffles were over two hours old! I decided to speak with two staff members about my concerns, and the manager eventually offered me a generous 20% discount. After further discussion, they raised it to 50%, citing that I had eaten more than half of my meal. I must say, I found the entire conversation frustrating and unproductive (neither my partner nor I were satisfied). To sum up: AVOID this place!"

"We dined at this restaurant in September while staying at Kenwood House Hotel. Due to the current Covid situation, we had to register upon arrival. We had some trouble finding a table due to the crowd, but eventually settled in a corner with a screen between us and the next table. Despite social distancing guidelines, a group of young people sat nearby and were loud and disruptive. We were uncomfortable and ended up moving to a quieter table near the garden exit. The food was average, but reasonably priced, and the drinks were good value. Unfortunately, the lack of safety measures and disruptive atmosphere made for a unpleasant dining experience. We hope to see improvements in the future before considering a return visit."

"This restaurant seems to mainly focus on takeout orders, but my party decided to dine at one of the two outdoor tables. There are also a few tables inside. The staff was friendly and the menu had a variety of options beyond just pizza. When our order was ready, we had to pick up our food in boxes and bring it to our table. Drinks were served in bottles/cans and we had to use straws when we requested them. Cutlery and napkins were not provided, which would have improved the experience. Despite these minor issues, the pizzas we ordered were delicious. The Toni's Special pizza had a generous amount of toppings, which made up for any shortcomings."

"I recently visited the Wagon and Horses in Chapeltown, Sheffield and it is by far the worst Wetherspoons I have ever been to. The bar staff all looked like they needed a good wash and a clean T shirt. They made sure they served their mates first and ignored everyone else. During the ten minutes I was waiting to be served I saw one of the bar staff knock over someone’s double gin and just top it back up with lemonade, the heads on the Stella that was being served were like ice creams because no one could be bothered to sort the pump out plus there were stacks of glasses on the floor in the crates they come out of the glass washer in very hygienic (not). The place was absolutely rammed, yet we were shouted at by a very confrontational and aggressive bar person called ‘Becca’ to move away from the bar area. When I asked where we should move to I was told ‘there are other pubs down the road’!! Despite stepping away from the bar area she saw fit to get the so called manager involved who informed me that if I continued to be aggressive I would be asked to leave FYI the only aggressive person in this scenario was the delightful ‘Becca’. I have never experienced anything like this place in my life I’m 56 by the way and I know how to behave in a pub unlike the staff and managers in this place."

"A friendly greeting. This is a busy but cosy restaurant that brings the outside inside with its decor. The food is well presented tastes delicious. Salt pepper grinders are on the table, but i found that my food was perfect without any extra seasoning. Garlic mushrooms, garlic bread, salmon tagliatelle calzone. All portions are very generous. All are full of flavour. My wife i agree that this is the best italian food we've ever eaten. Service: Dine in"

"The dinner was decent but not particularly memorable. Jenny enjoyed her sea bass, while I liked my rigatoni with arrabiata sauce, although it was too spicy for my taste. The braised sweetheart cabbage we shared was tasty, but missing the promised parmesan. The service was good and our food arrived quickly. The restaurant is large and modern, but lacks character. We only chose to dine here because it was the only Italian restaurant in Grantham open on a Monday night - we would have preferred one of the smaller, more charming Italian places we have visited before."

"The place was welcoming and the staff were very nice but the food really let it down. I ordered the Chicken Pasta Alfredo and it came with macaroni noodles that were thin like the ones you get in instant pasta pots and were either overcooked and mushy or reheated, overall it was bland. Though I must say the garlic bread that came with it was to die for! The food really didn't condone the price and I felt a bit ripped off by it but the staff made the experience a lot better so it feels right giving three stars still despite what I didn't like about the food."

"Had a steak last night which was good but my onion rings were missing and I had the tiniest mushroom grilled to death, asked the guy who brought our meals about the onion rings and he shrugged said out of stock and just walked off. Went to the bar to ask why I’d been charged for them if there aren’t any and again I got a shrug and was told I could have extra mushroom instead which I agreed to as by now the rest of the meal was getting cold. The guy brought me a bowl with raw mushroom slices in it! My partner went back to the bar with these, by the time I got cooked mushrooms I’d finished my meal and there was no way I was going to eat them for fear of them having been spat on or worse.!Staff take no pride and seem like just being there is a massive inconvenience to them. To be fair I have had some nice meals here but there’s always some issue or another, usually items missing from the meal. Come on guys put a bit of effort in, it’s not difficult I’m not expecting Michelin stars it’d just be nice to have a basic meal without having to go back to the bar for something every time!"

"I had a wonderful time sitting in the sun. I ordered the king prawn spaghetti, but my wife added her burrata from her salad to my dish, which was a delightful touch. I also want to give a huge shout-out to Alexandria, our waitress. When the manager unexpectedly walked out, Alexandria continued to handle everything with remarkable professionalism on her own. She truly deserves a raise or at least a bonus—listen up, management!"

"The Sunday carvery at this restaurant is approximately £9.50 for a standard classic size meal. They offer a choice of three meats - beef, turkey, and pork. When we arrived at 2pm, they made more broccoli for us. Some of the offerings were a bit burnt, including Yorkshire puddings and potatoes. The cabbage was scraped, but the carrots were okay. The cauliflower was overcooked, and there was a separate cheese sauce that I didn't try. The gravy and horseradish were good. The cider I had was not chilled, as it comes from a bag in a box. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would suggest arriving early, like 12pm, as by 3pm the staff are taking a break and eating leftover food."

"Castellos is always a delight to visit and I can't wait to try their Christmas menu. They offer good gluten-free options for our daughter. Parking is easily available and the service is excellent. We had dinner there and found the price per person to be around £30-40. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top marks of 5. Some recommended dishes include the Classic Bruschetta, Margherita Arancini, Garlic Bread, Soup, Linguine Bolognese, Crispy Pork Belly Bites, Hand Cut Chips, Chicken Supreme, and Mushroom Risotto. There is plenty of parking space with options for free parking in the lot or on the street."

"Love it. Their food is absolutely delicious. The place itself is great to sit and dine. We had onion rings, bacon and cheesy fries and pasta. Onion rings and pasta were too good. The cheese on the fries didn’t taste outstanding and the bacon was a little cold and not very crispy. The staff at this place are really sweet. Overall had great experience at this place."

"We had the Early bird deal before 6.30 on a weekday. The choices were fantastic and the portions were so good! We had the Garlic mushrooms and potato skins to start with and both were large portions. The mushrooms were incredibly tasty. Then we both had the Alfredo, one with mushrooms and one without, really filling Definitely will be returning. "Feeling esurient, I hastened to Ritmos Tapas Bar to enjoy some Mediterranean fare. I was somewhat surprised to be the only diner there but, being hungry, I grasped firmly the extensive menu and ordered the “Salmon a la parilla” (Salmon with seasonal vegetables). Imagine my surprise when 50 minutes later (still no other customers present), a plate with two filets of white fish appeared in front of me. Intrigued, I ingested the fare to sample what kind of fish this could be; for it certainly was not Salmon. Now being a keen angler, I noted that the skin and the attached dorsal fin were very reminiscent of Grey Mullet a fish common to our shores in copious abundance and traded by nefarious anglers to low grade restaurants. When asked why my Salmon was indeed, not Salmon the Manager simply said “It’s a like a da Salmon”. Sadly I shall not be returning to this place of delectation. I’m not actually sure it is a restaurant but maybe a front for another business. They’re certainly not in the “Fish Recognition” business."

"Ordered food through JustEat. After nearly 2 hours it arrived. To be fair, the food was all hot which was good, however, the chips looked and tasted as though they had been reheated a number of times. Ordered a tub of curry sauce, and although it was very warm (temp) I could have hung wallpaper with it. Fried pizza was stuck to the box, so when opening container, all of the cheese was removed from the pizza. I have had many good experiences within this establishment, but this has been a poor experience this time. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3"
