Frankie Benny's - Menu

It's reasonable food, at a decent location and the service is normally good. I do think it's quite expensive unless you take advantage of some of the offers though.

I have a soft spot for Frankie's. Nice staff, nice atmosphere and good food. It's been getting more expensive and portions have been shrinking but they often have offers and it's a nice no-frills meal out

We have just had one of the finest mixed grills we have ever tasted. The staff are absolutely fantastic the attention to detail is phenomenal. Thankyou Guys. Frank and Benny's should be well proud of their staff at the vanguard Monks Cross York View menu

Awful experience! We waited nearly two hours for our food, and only two meals arrived, both of which were cold. We decided to leave, just like many others around us. They seem more focused on Just Eat deliveries than serving customers in-house.

We have visited the Frankie and Benny's at Monks Cross several times, and each visit has been remarkable. The attention to detail has been outstanding, and the menu along with the food is excellent. The staff is fantastic as well. We're looking forward to our next visit!

We would definitely return to this restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and the food was fantastic. The service was excellent, and they took the time to explain the menu regarding allergies and other concerns. We will certainly be back and would give them a 5-star rating. View menu

Dire tonight. Had to wait over 20 minutes for drinks order to be taken and then didn't arrive til after starters were brought and informed the waiter. Tables that were dirty when we entered were still dirty as we left. No staff member looked like they wanted to be there, however the food was delicious

So far so good... ordered the calamari for A and Mushroom Alfredo for Moi! The calamari is beautiful and tender not an ounce of chewiness. The Alfredo was just the right balance and the mushrooms were lovely and earthy and fresh tasting! We will check back in with our main course!Main course for A was the lamb shank and mine was the new recipe Meatballs. I'm still giving 5 stars because it all was lovely the new meatballs were a bit of a weird combination of lemon herbs and pork with the meaty ragu sauce but I got used to it the more I ate. A's lamb shank was glorious!Tom W was really attentive, friendly and welcoming and it looked to be well organised.

This is the first time I've ever refused to pay for a meal! I tried one of five tiny, plastic-tasting mushrooms and the yolk of an overcooked egg. The bacon was cold, and my partner confirmed that her waffles were also cold. The waiter even mentioned that the waffles were over two hours old! I decided to speak with two staff members about my concerns, and the manager eventually offered me a generous 20% discount. After further discussion, they raised it to 50%, citing that I had eaten more than half of my meal. I must say, I found the entire conversation frustrating and unproductive (neither my partner nor I were satisfied). To sum up: AVOID this place! View menu
