Called midweek for a carvery which was very nice, beef was very tender and tasty, nice mashed potato and Yorkshire pudding.

One of those friendly places! Warm, good company and a good selection of local and national beers. Always made welcome. Entertainment at weekends and good food. Brilliant starting place to have a wander around the Langley Mill Canal Basin and canal walks. View menu

The Sunday dinner at this restaurant was absolutely lovely. The staff were pleasant, the place was spotlessly clean, and we had a lovely and chilled afternoon with our friends. This will definitely be my go-to spot for Sunday afternoons in the future. It's a wonderful family-run pub.

I had a great pint of ale at this restaurant. I only had one because I was driving. I didn't try the food, but it seemed popular for early evening and looked good. The outside of the restaurant could use some sprucing up, but the inside is nice. The tables were very clean and well-polished. I will definitely be returning soon.

The Sunday carvery at this restaurant is approximately £9.50 for a standard classic size meal. They offer a choice of three meats - beef, turkey, and pork. When we arrived at 2pm, they made more broccoli for us. Some of the offerings were a bit burnt, including Yorkshire puddings and potatoes. The cabbage was scraped, but the carrots were okay. The cauliflower was overcooked, and there was a separate cheese sauce that I didn't try. The gravy and horseradish were good. The cider I had was not chilled, as it comes from a bag in a box.
