"My family started going to Merolas when our children were young, along with my sister, brother-in-law, and their daughter. We moved away and hadn't been back in years. However, my husband decided to celebrate his 60th birthday at the restaurant with our family, which was a nostalgic trip for all of us. The evening was fantastic - everyone enjoyed their meals, the younger generation had a blast, and some first-time visitors said they would definitely come back. There were 18 of us in total, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Merolas remains the same traditional, family-run Italian trattoria with no frills, just excellent food, great hospitality, and a warm welcome. A big thank you to all the staff for making our evening so special. Julie and Chris Rudry."

"Went in there to dine for the evening..... The restaurant is in a good location with warm and pleasant interiors....though the tables were placed quite near to each other....we managed to grab a decent place to sit.... Wanted to try something of a meal kind filling enough for one...so decided on the following.... Chicken Carolina well presented in a plate with a big chunk of chicken....topped with amazing mushroom and cheese sauce....bits of crispy bacon on the top....best sauce that I have had of this kind....so so good... Finger licking good!! This was accompanied by potato fries.... Traditional fish and chips chips as usual but the fish was not seasoned well. Very delicate and soft fish....accompanies with perfect sauce. However the poorly seasoned fish did not let us enjoy the dish. We did report the same and they were gracious enough to get us a replacement of our choice to which we ordered chicken alfredo and it was definitely a good one!!! Good ambience topped with good food and good company made us have a good dining experience. The service was however a little lagged as we had to wait to get someone to serve us or address the concern . Apart from that all good and highly recommended!!!"

"Me and my boyfriend visited rare last night, and the atmosphere, staff, dinner and drinks were all up to standard. Paul the manager/waiter was an absolute delight to speak to. He was funny, friendly and incredibly quick to serve us and hard working. We met the head chef, Danny, and he was immensely positive and honest about where the steaks were from, and gave us information on the source. He was informative, hard working and a lovely gentleman to have a conversation with on my birthday, which added to the homely and romantic atmosphere. I highly recommend this place as the service is quick and pleasant, as well as the overall vibe of the place! A perfect way to spend my 18th birthday with my boyfriend."

"as part of the birthday party of a friend I was invited to a meal in frankie bennys. we were a large group of about 6 8 people and the staff could simply sort a group table for us directly in the middle of the restaurant. my friend, who used to be at franky benny, suggested that I try the warm garlic balls as starter. they receive about 4 6 teig balls in one part and they offer them pots of garlic paste. I have to say that I was absolutely addicted to her garlic paste and the teigballs tasted amazingly once immersed in her, I recommend definitiw to get it as an appetizer! I then ordered the classic steak and chips, the around £12, so cheap and cheerful. I rarely like my steak medium and they were quite banged up. it's not the best steak I've ever had, but for this price it wasn't bad at all. we decided that we wanted to surprise the birthday child and that personal asked if they could help us. they assured us that they will do something while our desserts were prepared. next we know that the music in the restaurant changed into a happy birthday song and they brought out a cake with an illuminated candle and encouraged us all to sing. it was really a good experience for all of us and especially for the birthday child. I was at frankie benny’s several times later and my only recommendation is that if they go with a large group of family members, then avoid changing as the waiting times can be very long. however (if they ask nicely) employees can happily take their number and give them a call when they prepare a table for them. this gives them the opportunity to stay away from the packed restaurant and enjoy a game with pool or air hockey, next door in the arcade."

"Luigi's restaurant in Omagh offers fresh pasta and decent food that is hard to come by in the area. Luigi himself is a character that not everyone might enjoy, but the dining experience can be enjoyable as long as he is not stressed. The service is excellent with a rating of 5 out of 5, as is the quality of the food. The atmosphere is rated a 4 out of 5, making it a great place for a dinner meal with prices ranging from £10 to £20 per person."

"Wetherspoon is to be congratulated on its 'Nil Musak ' policy enabling easy conversation free from irritating interruption. In visiting the 'Foot of the Walk ' on repeated occasions, we enjoy the comfortable padded bench seating supporting an impressively edible consumption of cuisine. Recommended are the Pasta Alfredo and Quorn Nuggets. The 'Foot of the Walk ' clearly supports a regularly visiting local clientele in chat and cyberspace consuming, much commended. We do suggest that while staff are efficient and friendly they could be augmented to enable further cleaning of tables"

"Smart and spacious with a decent set menu including gluten free and vegan options. Welcoming knowledgable staff and a more relaxing atmosphere compared to some more cramped locations like Reading. The Italian “humus” is really tasty and there are good gluten free pizza options. The penne could have been nicer for an Italian restaurant but the arrabbiata sauce was excellent and the home produced chilli oil appreciated! Beware, the gluten free cheesecake and vegan triple chocolate tart are very rich."

"Despite being really busy due to the government eat out scheme the manager managed to fit us in. Staff very friendly and polite. Food came quickly, was piping hot and delicious. Our family of four, each had a different pasta dish and each one was fantastic with great flavours. Even our one usually fussy child loved it and ate almost a full adult portion. Would recommend for adults only or families."

"After taking a carriage tour, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. We ordered grilled snapper and a crab cake burger. The snapper was fresh and delicious, while the burger was decent but not my top choice. The crab cake had too much mayonnaise for my liking. The crab soup was flavorful, with visible crab meat, but I found it to be a bit too salty."

"Me and my family came on holiday to Bournemouth and one of the first restaurants we visited in the city was this prezzo and being honest the service here is something else, the food is incredible as you can see by the fantastic Vesuvio pizza down below recommended to me by one of the waiters, Gabi, and also the staff; the staff were amazing and when we came to the restaurant for my parents 20th anniversary we were mainly served by the manager Janosh who managed to find us a table while having 200 people in the restaurant, and also his assistant manager Leonardo who served my parents for their special occasion in such a special way that ill never forget. Truly amazing service and don’t worry about the food the chefs are something else especially seen by the chemistry in the kitchen so you will enjoy your time at Prezzo."

"Went with my disabled mother, a friend and her child. Anthony straight away opened the door as he saw us approaching and got us a table with easy wheelchair access without prompting. My friends daughter was given crayons and activity set and he really spoke to her nicely. We felt awful he didn’t get a tip but there was no option on the card payment and we didn’t have cash. I hope he at least gets recognition though as he was nice and attentive without being pushy or overbearing. The food was nice, though I do feel too expensive. The ice cream for dessert served in tub like you’re in a cinema was extremely odd for the setting. Coffees were nice. Shame the drinks are Pepsi and not Coke. Cheapens it all a little. All in all though a nice meal and good experience with excellent customer service. Thank you."

"We decided to eat at crust because it was rated one of the best pizzas in the UK. Not sure if was the best I’ve ever had but it was certainly up there. I ordered the crust pizza which is a sourdough pizza with a sweet potato purée base with mozzarella, smoked cheese and pancetta. Obviously a sweeter pizza than the traditional tomato base but I really liked it. The only negative I would say was that it was difficult to cut without making a mess of the pizza. I am not sure if that was because it was either a little bit soggy, the knives weren’t sharp enough or my cutting skills were sub-par (maybe a combination of all three)? The rest of the party also enjoyed their pizza, however, we may have liked it more if we hadn’t had enormous starters. Two of the party had this garlic and mushroom dish (can’t remember the name of it) and it was delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. It wasn’t until after we ordered that we realised that what we ordered didn’t come under the starters section. We can only assume that they were a sharing starter or main in its self. I had focaccia for first course which was lovely but I feel that it wasn’t fully cooked as the melted cheese was cold and the onions weren’t very caramelised which they were supposed to be. We ordered cheesecake jars for dessert however we had to take them home as we were all full to the brim. When we eventually ate them they were scrumptious. Overall we had a really good evening with tasty food. The waiters were very friendly and welcoming but we did notice that not all staff were very glued up on the menu."

"A friend and I went to this restaurant on a bit of a whim and didn't regret it! We were enticed by the steak night menu and so in we went! This hidden little Italian restaurant is packed with character and music to go with, a very upbeat and vibrant atmosphere! We really enjoyed ourselves! The food was great and we'd definitely go back! Staff were great and very friendly! The food was very nicely cooked! Overall, value for money, quality food and service Highly recommended!"
"One of the best things London has to offer is definitely Vapiano. Our first visit was quite enjoyable, but when a friend insisted we return to try the aglio olio, we couldn’t resist going back—and we have no regrets. I’ve probably tried every type of pasta on the menu. The pizza is pretty good, and the lasagna is decent too; nothing out of the ordinary that you wouldn’t find elsewhere. But the pasta is where it really shines. The variety of sauces and pasta can be a bit overwhelming when trying to decide what to order. The Italian desserts are also quite good. I highly recommend Vapiano if you're in London!"

"Just happened to park right outside this cafe. So many unremarkable coffee shops on high street these days that it 's a gamble each time you visit one. BUT this gamble paid off. I had a 3 shot Cappuccino and a bacon and egg on brown teacake. I made no further requests. The lovely, pleasant chatty lass brought my coffee to the table immediately (I have balance problems) and the butty arrived a couple of minutes later. A bacon sandwich is such a basic package yet it 's saddening how many bad ones are served. Not this one Soft, fresh bap, well filled with CRISPY bacon and runny egg with a creamy yolk. So happy all round and not only will I come again but I 'll actually make this my 'go to ' from now on. Knocks the chains and franchises into the pit they belong. Only fly in the ointment was that 4 tables I could see needed a good clean. This just prevents them earning 10 out of 10. Call in you won 't be disappointed"

"A group of eight of us had a reservation at Bellini on Saturday evening. While we eventually enjoyed tasty food, the staff and customer service were lacking. We were seated at the back of the restaurant and then ignored. We waited nearly an hour with no service at all—none of the waitresses approached us to offer menus or take our drink orders. We had to ask for assistance and noticed that tables seated after us were already served. The waitresses seemed more focused on clearing tables than serving us. When we complained, we were offered a complimentary drink as a solution. All we desired was proper service, which we believe is not too much to ask for in a restaurant. The manager, who also serves as the chef, was unavailable. After voicing our dissatisfaction again, we were told to leave if we were not happy, which we found to be shocking customer service. Eventually, a waitress took our order, but we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for half of our group to receive their drinks and another 10 minutes for the rest, as the waitress was chatting at the bar. There was no supervision and the staff seemed disorganized. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience and believe the staff need training on their roles."

"We ordered our food at the bar and the girl was very helpful. This was the first time in this place. Quite a simple meal ham egg and chips steak and jacket potato with some onion rings and a tomato. We didn 't wait too long before the food was brought out. Problem was when my plate was put in front of me I said to the girl where 's the steak to which she replied don 't speak to me like that . I then pointed to the plate and said I ordered steak so where is it. She grabbed the plate and walked away. I couldn 't believe the attitude as if I had said something wrong. A few minutes later she came back with the plate and the steak was on the plate. I ordered med steak but this was a well done steak. She said sorry about that. We ate as much as we could tolerate then left . I cannot recommend this place for the food or the attitude of one of the staff. I understand sometimes things can go wrong but it is not for staff to be rude to customers when they complain about things that are clearly not right."

"What a disappointment! Visited yesterday (8 of us in total) for a Prosecco brunch for a friends 50th. Booked back in Feb and also paid a deposit for us all as advised we would need to. Arrived just after 11am to be given wrong menus first. When I pointed out we’d booked the Prosecco brunch they seemed slightly put out as it wasn’t on the booking. Anyway as there were a few of us and we hadn’t seen each other for a while we spent a good 15 mins catching up and chatting as women do. Not at any point did anyone during this time offer any drinks, pour our fizz ready or ask if we were her ready to order. We were greeted by a really rude waitress upon arrival and then same waitress proceeded to tell us at 11:20am that we needed to be off the table by 12pm as they’d got a private booking. When mentioned that at no point had anyone stated this upon booking, paying the deposit or arriving they couldn’t care less. Fed back our disappointment but again didn’t really care. At 11:26am another waitress came over and said that the kitchen was closing at 11:30am so we had four mins to place our order, with a further 30 mins to eat up. Still at this point despite the menu stating we had two glasses of Prosecco with our brunch we hadn’t received a single offer of a drink. Anyway quickly placed our order and eventually got some drinks. We did speak to a few team members about the lack of service and poor customer service but all one kept saying was “I don’t even know who took the booking?!” Food subsequently arrived prompt (to get us out in time no doubt) and it was ok. Not bad, but ok. Food was lukewarm, coffee was lukewarm but having previously fed back we didn’t feel it was worth raising these issues as clearly no one cared anyway. We then got asked if we wanted the pastries that were on our menu or just more Prosecco. No doubt in an effort to clear the table; however we did opt for the pastries as this is what we had chosen. At no point was a check back conducted during the brunch and we were generally just made to feel really unwelcome. We did receive our coffees free of charge but there was not one apology, or any customer service given and to be honest left such an awful atmosphere that it completely ruined our friends 50th celebrations. Really disappointed because actually this place has such huge potential in a lovely’s setting. 8 ladies that most definitely won’t be back. Such a shame as we had this planned for ages and were really looking forward to it."
