"It is two or three years since my last visit and was a very disappointing return. A billiard table has been positioned amongst the tables and a group of lads playing on it made so much noise that my friend and I could hardly hear each other speak. I had a baked potato which tasted like I was eating cotton wool so I had to leave most of it. The Copper Beech has a very large restaurant area and was quite busy for a weekday lunchtime so I assume their profits are made from quantity rather than quality. I will not return even though the staff were good."

Dedicated vegan menu available. I had the carvery option and the staff was so helpful to tell me which parts were vegan! You can get it with a mushroom cake or nut roast. Also had the vegan ice that was really good!

The fish and chips were amazing, and the carvery buffet was top-notch at this restaurant. It's the best place I've ever been to. The staff was polite and friendly, making my experience even better. I love this place.

As soon as you enter the pub you are greeted with a smiling person. This makes you feel welcome, even before words are spoken. Everyone is professional polite, the service food is perfect. Not forgetting the pub itself which is clean tidy.

The staff at the restaurant were very welcoming. The carvery was good, but I suspect the mashed potatoes were made from powder as they didn't taste like real potatoes. It's disappointing when restaurants don't use real ingredients for dishes like this.

Quite a good variety of choices on the menu, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Enjoyed the carvery I had but felt that certain parts should be included in the pricing. Nice choice of drinks and lovely garden area for summer and things for the kids to do. Overall nice pub

The food at this restaurant was slightly better than the last carvery I tried. The roast potatoes were quite mushy and the cauliflower cheese was hard with runny sauce. There was a limited variety of vegetables and meat compared to other local carveries. However, on a positive note, the staff were very polite and helpful.

I've been passing so many times, so we thought we'd let it go. it is actually quite a big pub I belive they do a whole day carvery the food looked very nice it melt beautiful. this is also a large bar area that offers a lot of seating with the bar area and the kargen side. more seats outside the terrace and covered seating. there was also a small area for young children to play. there is a large parking lot with disabled parking. the staff was very polite. Maybe next week will try to eat.

for years in copper beech and had very few bad meals. we haven't been one, so we stopped this afternoon. I had the pasta alfredo (with addition of huhn) and my fiancé had cod and chips. everything was delicious and we really enjoyed our meals. our only comments or excitements would be to serve the brot and the butter that comes with the cable and the chips on a separate plate and not use a heated plate for a dish with a side salad, as my salat was limp from the heat. the service was before place and we did not eat long to wait for our food.

"So disappointingBefore coming to the swan I had looked at the menu online, as my youngest child has allergies and is dairy free. It states on the menu that ‘light bites’ are GF and most can be adapted to be DF, brilliant! It was our last day of our holiday and I thought I’d treat them to a nice lunch out before heading home. Where do I start, the service attitude from the lady behind the bar was shocking. I asked what could be made DF for my son and was told that there wasn’t anything and they don’t cater for allergies?! I pointed out on the menu that they state they can and was met with an eye roll basically. Anyway, I thought I would get him some chips, nope, they fry them in the same oil as the dairy and meat products we are vegetarian ! I then asked about the VEGAN dishes they had and I was told they are also cooked and prepared for alongside the meat products so they can’t guarantee they will actually be vegan!! By this point my daughters had already got excited about eating out and the play area that I couldn’t really back track, so I went against my better judgement and ordered 3 sandwiches on granary bread and a childrens fish chips. My son had a packet of crisps. The sandwiches arrived and were absolutely awful, the cheese and onion one was 2 slices of cheap shop bought bread with some pre grated cheese and a couple of slices of onion not even any butter! It wasn’t cheap, £45 for 4 soft drinks, 3 sandwiches and a child meal. Then there’s the play area, sharp screws poking up through the wood chip, lose sharp fixings on top of the slide, and a massive electric open cable under the swings! We swiftly left, it was such a bad end to our holiday and should have been our final hurrah before driving home. Was appalled at their attitude towards me, was treated like an inconvenience, food was awful, please don’t eat there if you are Vegan, although the dish is vegan ? they certainly don’t take the steps necessary to keep it away from meat, and definitely not safe for anyone with an allergy. Such a shame as the location is so pretty with the river opposite, we were excited and left feeling really disappointed. Will not be back."
