"The restaurant offers a wide variety of beer and a selection of different burgers with various sides. The burgers are a bit expensive but are freshly made and of good quality. There is plenty of seating and space for enjoying a meal or just stopping in for a beer. Definitely worth a visit! They also have multiple locations in London if you're not in the area. Update: Enjoyed another delicious burger and there is an excellent selection of beers. The only downside was that the chips were a bit average."

"The Potters Arms is a local gem. The staff is friendly and attentive. The remodelled out door seating, landscaping and farm shop are fantastic. The pub comes highly recommended by the locals with delicious food and a menu that caters for a variety of diets. You must experience the pub and local walks. You won’t be disappointed."

"Very good food. The Best of Menue is really awesome. We enjoyed our last visit to the current rooms of the cleanse. Perfect service, best cuisine, interesting rare wines from the basement and very nice ambience. Hopefully there will be the cleanse or better the successor soon. At the next Berlin stay we will miss the cleanse very much."

"We waited for more than two hours for our food at the restaurant. We called three times and received different information each time. We were then informed over 25 minutes ago that the driver was on his way to deliver our food, even though the restaurant is only a 10-minute drive from our location."

"central location on the seventh floor of the renaissance, with terrace offering a wonderful view of the cathedral. of course in the evening on the terrace, despite the gas mushrooms .... It's really cold. pizzas are good but normal. service young and absolutely not professional. very high prices especially for drinks. calculated that for a pizza and a drink you will definitely spend over the €... we in have spent euro. once in a while you can go ... more for the location than for other. even if I personally think I don't come back. ah. I forgot ... to climb up to the top floor take the elevator off positioned on the right side. Those inside are very crowded and difficult to take at certain times."

"Clearly a popular spot, we had to wait for a table, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. The service was quite slow, and the Eggs Royal that two of us ordered arrived cold with overcooked eggs – really disappointing! The fish finger sandwich and traditional breakfast ordered by the other two seemed fine, though. We also requested several refills of hot drinks, which took a long time to arrive. I'm not sure if they were overwhelmed by the full restaurant, but they clearly struggled to keep up. There are plenty of alternative places nearby, and I think we'll try one of those next time."

"After booking this on the 18/8/2022 for 4 people who asked for special requests, I asked myself specifically for the table in the window as it was a special birthday when I arrived, we got out of the window that I was in shock! I have never mentioned anything at our arrival because a few are already sitting after us, I have reviewed my emails to check if I was told earlier that this request was not available but I do not, it totally ruined the expectations of our experience, this is only positive feedback as if they cannot ask"

"Yesterday, my family and I visited The Old Friar for Sunday dinner to celebrate Mother's and Father's Day. When we arrived, the young host who greeted us seemed unaware of our reservation for 7. We were seated next to a window covered with numerous flies, which made us uncomfortable. Despite politely asking to be moved, we were told there was nothing they could do about the flies. Our food took three attempts to get right, and my son's burger arrived without the cheese and speck we had ordered. When we mentioned this to the waiter, a red-haired lady came over and accused us of lying. This confrontation was embarrassing and upsetting, especially for my son. The service was incredibly poor, and we felt humiliated throughout our meal. We will not be returning to The Old Friar, as our experience was marred by rude and insulting service. The only positive aspect was that the food was decent, though overpriced. I urge others to avoid this restaurant due to the terrible service and lack of professionalism."

"More like 3.5/5 it took us six weeks to get a booking, so we were beyond excited to go and already fully aware of the menu and pricing. We waited 25 minutes to get a drink and the service was fairly sloppy, I was sat in a doorway next to the toilet literally under a decorative lamp which was very uncomfortable. Fortunately, the food and drink was great. We tried the home made iced tea and lemonade, and shared the Philly cheese steak and a bbq platter with corn bread and macaroni cheese. The food was only luke warm when it arrived, any colder it would have needed to go back, but was delicious. Meal for 2 with 2 non alcoholic drinks each came to £45. Probably wouldn't go again, but glad I tried it."

"This restaurant is one of the top spots in Glasgow for burgers and pizza. The service is exceptional, always friendly and quick. The food is delicious, always fresh and juicy with great sauces. I highly recommend the Kicherbär, a perfect choice for those who like spicy food. The prices are also very reasonable, making it great value for money. Whether you're looking for a quick bite near work or a place to catch up with friends, this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed."

"Was charged 50p for a pot of ketchup... I think that's stupid considering you serve chips.... Hot dogs were not really footlong when they changed the sizing of sausage and put 2 in rather than 1. Coleslaw was missing.... Medium rare steak was well done..... Loved this place before but won't be going back"

"never left a restaurant until this place abysmal service we were in order with the 30-minute waiting period we were told was on personal questions. But after we had set ourselves, we stayed for 1.5 hours until we waited for food. no one has checked our table in the meantime; Once we said we left the manager right away, the chef could prepare our food in 5 minutes, why did we wait for 90 first place? for garlic bread?!"

"Arranging the team Christmas Dinner is often an affair fraught with danger. A group of people you 've known for over 15 years who have developed their own personal tastes, likes and dislikes. Whilst a Dominos and a half dozen cases of Blue WKD would have previously passed muster we have somewhat matured and as such our Christmas nights out have been getting progressively fancier over the last 5 years. With a mixed group of tastes varying from the adventurous to the not so, and knowing that it 's just around the corner from my flat, I booked a table at the McMillan. First things first, it was amazing value at £26 for 3 courses. As anyone who 's visited the McMillan will know you often do well to get a main alone for that price when you 're pushing the boat out. It was busy but the atmosphere was just right for Christmas without feeling suffocating. Whilst the pianist is an oft underrated part of any restaurant ambience. Each course had four choices to pick from. For my starter I had a confit duck salad which was wonderfully lifted with some pickled vegetables. I also tried my friends grilled polenta with brie and house salsa which was also very tasty. For main I shunned the traditional turkey dinner (having already eaten 3 by that point of the week! in favour of braised beef shin with mashed potato, picked carrots and bone marrow bread pudding. That 's right BONE. MARROW. BREAD. PUDDING. It was, and my apologies for the slight profanity here, the dugs baws! I now demand I have this as an accompaniment with any slab of meat I eat. The beef shin, carrots and gravy were also spot on and as a whole dish it was really great. Not being a dessert fan I went for cheese and biscuits and whilst the selection was rather uninspiring with cheddar, stilton and brie there was enough biscuits on my plate which for some reason kitchens have great difficulty parting with when it comes to serving up a cheese course. They have a varied bar menu full of whiksy, gin, beers and cocktails and the waiting staff, bar one rather 'intense ' chap, were great and joined in our special blend of nonsense when asked, I really like it in here and as Christmas dinners go it was an absolute win for me. I noticed they do a steak and wine for two night during the week for £30, if I could jsut meet the love of my life I"

"As soon as I walked in, I liked the aesthetic of the restaurant. I sat down and ordered my food with my amigos. I had the pulled brisket nachos and was surprised at the portion size, it wasn’t a small starter like most restaurants but...large, delicious and clearly fresh. I also had the Mexican lasagna which I never heard of before but it was amazing and I couldn’t finish it as it was so filling. I also had a cocktail which was good and a slush which was good too. The staff were friendly, polite and would check if we needed anything often. Overall a great experience and I would come again"

"Two huge wooden tables and long benches make up Papa Del's communal dining area! There are also a few window seats! Papa Del's has a very natural feel to it. The tables are uneven so that slate placemats are used to keep the plates level! It was nice to have such a dining area with all the wooden surroundings! The painted walls and wall lights gave a soft ambiance! The food was cooked fresh in the open kitchen and so we were waiting a short while for it! The Vegetariana pizza had a thin crispy base and the tomato sauce was tasty. It was topped with tomato, mozzarella, sweetcorn, onions, peppers and mushrooms. We had an additional topping of aubergine! The vegetables were all cooked perfectly! The Penne Arrabiata was a big portion! The pasta was topped with a sauce of garlic, tomato, olives and chilli! The sauce had a good flavour and it definitely had a spicy kick to it! The staff were friendly, but there was a slight language barrier going on. A few times when we asked the staff quest"

"Would recommend to use before a concert space as get free parking, and I think this restaurant would be better on a non concert night however we were let down by the frantic staff on our visit. It is understandable to be extremely busy and stressed on a concert night considering how full the restaurant is, but to be sitting for 30 minutes before receiving your drink even though you’ve already finished your starter is ridiculous. Then asking the waiter if you could catch one) is it okay to get our drink yet and they look at you very confused, was a weird experience for us. As we were seated on the stage part of the restaurant, I think this didn’t help our situation as we didn’t have the same waiter to come over and attend to us. Rotunda was quick enough to take our starter away and bring out the Main however we sat for again another 30 minutes waiting on someone to take our main dish plates away and ask if we required a desert. As they didn’t ask I quickly asked a waiter would it be ok if we got a desert, they looked at me as if I was asking them to wash my hair for me. It was unbelievable and myself and my partner could actually not stop ourselves from laughing at this. Food was okay but for the money you are paying the service needs to improve. Customer service was not great at all, very unfortunate as we were looking forward to this for a while :"
