"Cafe en Seine is a truly fenomenal restaurant. My partner and I have visited the restaurant at 1PM after making a reservation which was answered quickly and efficiently. We were greeted by the incredibly kind and professional staff member Laysa which made sure we were seated and comforotable. Cutlery was replaced after each meal and Layla made sure that the food was up to our liking. The atmosphere was a true authentic depiction of restaurants of France. The cleanliness of the place is amongst the best. We requested a Shared Starter consisting of Chicken wings, Table Snacks, for the Main course we chose Hamburger with Fries, Broccoli with nuts and finally a beautifully brewed Latte with a desert of Vanilla/Mango Cheesecake. The portions were well planned and fulfilling in every way. The chef deserves high praise for their true attention to detail and craftsmenship when delivering this high quality of meals. Overall experience was absolutely incredible and should be on any ones Number One list to visit. A worthy mention to Mr. Alexander who is the kidnest Manager that made our stay memorable, fun and informative, a true profesionality and enthusiasm shines through every interaction and is well worth the praise. Thank you Alexander. I am happy to say that I will continue to reccommend Cafe en Seine to friends, family and anyone that is looking for the highest level of class, respect and service. I am looking forward to my future visits and I sincerly would like to thank everyone involved in making our stay incredibly pleasant and enjoyable."

"Me and my friend got there around 1.45am on Sunday 19th of June. Have to say I want to go there for a long time. Just grabbed the chance as my friend missed his coach back home. Said that to one of the security guys at the door, when asked for ID. Anyway, I had a picture of my passport on my mobile. Then the other security guy got involved in a quite hostile manner. He asked my friend how old he was. To 'defuse ' the atmosphere, I made a joke saying I don 't go around with under age guys. The bouncer didn 't like my joke (even if I said it was a joke) and started to behave with even more hostility. He said to get off from our mobiles (my friend had the picture of his ID on his phone as well)....don 't know where he got that liberty from....he insisted he had to scan our documents and a picture was not enough. I then said that was his problem as I was showing my ID as requested.....he went on and on saying what the argument was about. Replied I was simply making my point as on their website there was nothing about showing the ID. He then added we have to pay £2.50 each for the entry. There were 2 girls behind us (showing their ID to the other security guy) and no entry fee was asked to them. I have asked to the security guy I was dealing with if the entry fee was just for us or for everyone. I asked to talk with the manager. He turned his face and ignored me....I then asked how long we could stay in, paying the entry fee (the place is open 24/7) . He smiled and said 'how much are you ready to tip? ' Well.....think I don 't need to add anything else......I would really advice the owner/manager/whoever in charge to be more attentive in choosing their security stuff. Rude people asking for bribe shamelessly is not a good business card at the door of what supposed to be a decent business."

"What a delight! First time to this branch. I travel a lot and often have to dine solo which I don't mind. Some restaurants single you out but Côte Brasserie are very welcoming to all guests. Despite how busy they were on a Saturday evening, I was warmly greeted upon arriving, seated at a nice table and had excellent service throughout. Staff were attentive, yet left guests to dine in peace and enjoy their meal. I am a big fan of customer service. I have just come back from Japan where service is outstanding. I always find in the UK, we are one of the worse for service. However, Côte Brasserie is starting to make me have faith again. Well done! Great menu of French classics but there are other options too including steaks and salads. Hearty but good food. Calories and nutritional information are displayed on the menu which is helpful. I had the vegan Côte burger which came with frites. Freshly made, well presented and delicious. Messy to eat but so good. My Saturday treat! I actually felt shy when I fully cleaned up my plate but I was hungry and was looking forward to a burger. It delivered. I had a still water to drink so I was a bit healthy! Lovely branch with mainly indoor seating, plus a few tables outside. Lovely ambience and nice views too. They are busy given location so book a table. A lot of people were turned away or had to come back. Clean. Dessert looked good but I was stuffed. What Côte have also done well is not put up prices too much, especially in comparison to competitors. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend."

"There were 5 people In our group for lunch, 2 vegans, 2 veggies and an omni. 4 of us actually ordered from the vegan menu and 1 ordered a vegetarian dish. My main issue was that 2 of us (myself being vegan and the omni in the group! ordered the flat bread from the vegan menu it didn’t advertise coming with chips but when we ordered our waiter asked us which chips we would prefer so we both asked for sweet potato fries. When the fries came out they had cheese on them (despite us clearly ordering from the separate vegan menu . I’m not sure if this was an error on the waiter or the kitchen’s part but the waiter apologised. I shared the fries with one of the vegetarians in the group so I just avoided any that had cheese on them, however I’m now wondering whether actually they were not cooked in a separate fryer and this is why they weren’t on the vegan menu!? In terms of staff knowledge I was also disappointed when I asked what type of plant based burger it was on the vegan menu (I.e. meat substitute or bean based etc and our waiter didn’t know or really seem to understand the question (and didn’t offer to find out . That’s why I chose the flat bread instead and then had the cheese issue! My second main issue is that the food was pretty average especially considering the price. 3 of us had the vegan chocolate tart advertised as coming with fresh berries. (2 of us originally ordered the treacle tart which was sold out, fair enough . However 2 of us can’t eat strawberries so asked for the tart without them, expecting other berries instead, however the only berry on the third tart was a solitary diced strawberry! The tart was also pretty small considering it didn’t come with any accompaniment but cost £6.25! Overall it’s great they’re trying with a vegan menu but my view is that they must try harder!"
