"Sadly I would not recommend the inn anymore, the food was not up to standard. I have been here many times before and had an excellent experience but the last two times have been terrible, I always like to give a place another chance if I’ve had both good and bad experiences but twice in a row is not good so I won’t bother going back now."

We made a reservation for four people at 10:45. The service was friendly and relaxed. Three of us ordered the full Yorkshire breakfast, which was superb and excellent value. The fourth person ordered the croque madame, which was also excellent.

The general look of the pub is nice and whilst we appreciate it was new years eve we waited an hour for mains, not much food available and we felt the pub lacked a bit of character. They tried their best, but generally we were very disappointed particularly with the £80 bill at the end. Probably wouldn't return sadly.
